I am truly pissed off that Austin (and really it's all for Summer) gets a memorial service but serious core characters repeatedly get short shrift on weddings/funerals etc. WTF?

 

And where the hell is Sharon? Why am I watching Summer constantly and have seen no sign of Sharon in any kind of serious story for weeks?????

 

Oh God Mary Paul is going to grieve. And anorexic Cricket will be more bitter.

 

If it were anyone else I'd love a confrontation like Summer had with Abby (in front of others). But it's fucking Summer. What a waste. And there's Kyle, doing everything for his wuv.

 

What I found cute about the Summer-Kyle thing initially was it was a crush. Crushes are cute. But now he loves her SO MUCH he stalked his cousin Abby just for Summer's sake??? GMAB.  

 

ETA: Cricket looked far more beaten up than people crushed by buildings or having survived plane crashes. lol. I guess the makeup department was overwhelmed during disaster week and could only throw soot at them.

IA miamama. Dummer is a waste of space and I have zero fucks to give about her.  I have no idea why Kyle is so besotted with her. He is supposed to be a savvy businessman/playboy from NY but he's all googly eyed over a 20 year old girl who was almost his sister? GMAFB!

His voice has no clarity at all now and I want to clear my throat when I hear the raspiness.  I had that problem once and a specialist ruled out vocal chord nodules which can be cancerous but they found I had acid reflux and once treated I got my voice back much to the chagrin of many...LOL

I liked Abby throwing Nick's serial cheating in his face.

I'm so glad for time shifting because watching Dummer hyperventilate like she's having an allergic reaction (I suppose that's supposed to be anger) is hilarious. It makes me laugh so hard that my bronchitis-riddled lungs can't handle it. Breaking into a coughing fit is completely worth it because it's so bad.

And HK seems to be afflicted with the same throat issues as DD. When she hollered at Avery to STAY! she was offscreen and I was, like, who the fuck was that? Satan?

I thought the same thing, WTF with them both being so hoarse?  And HK's "acting" could not be worse!  The Little Rascals have to go...FF the whole thing even Mariah and Kevin who can act are too silly to watch.    

 

When I saw how LLB has aged and how it shows in her emaciated skin I was reminded of that awful pic of ED in the shower scene.  I swear my mouth fell open when they showed a full on head shot of LLB in the bed.  Her long thin straight hair tucked behind her ears that stick out, then the aging skin and wrinkles...wow. The shots were not kind to her and when she stood up she is emaciated, her hand and arm are skin on bone, no muscle tone anywhere to be seen.  Wow...hey I am old and have that kind of skin so I can relate.  In one way kudos to her for not going with skin treatments but in that case she needs to carry extra weight/muscle to fill herself out.  

 

Did anyone else notice MTS's head getting squeezed like a pimple over and over by Victor?  She pulled away once and then he grabbed it again!  Her eyes widened and she pulled away again!  LOL

 

Neil is getting better at not playing blind but he still wants to look up and away and fix his gaze..director to KSJ...."CUT!"

 

Nice to see Sharon back and Dylan comes alive...again.

I know you all want to know: in today's Cdn Summer is still crying!!!!!! But clearly the actress is worn out because while she mustered up some actual emotion whilst hollering for 36 minutes straight in yesterday's Canadian, her attempts at crying today were akin to my 9-year-old trying to convince me she's really really upset, mummy. Oh and Victoria now has a raspy voice too. Get these actors some FUCKING throat lozenges, sheesh. Nothing much happened on the show. Billy and Chelsea are engaged (like that wedding is going to happen). Nikki went to see the skeleton and upset it. No one told widdle Dummer about the "I know what happened here" message. She slept at the cabin and Kyle stayed with her. Thankfully he didn't tuck her in. But he expressed his undying support in that stilted "I'm trying really hard to sound like an American" way newestKyle has. ugh.

I loathe the character Summer, and while I can't stand HHK's adenoidal delivery, I don't think she's a bad young actress. She's got one of those youthful faces that, unfortunately for her, don't age well though.  I give her another five or six years before she's playing blowsy lushes on Lifetime.

 

And SC does give SBu a little life, but he'll never in a million years be "a completely different actor". The guy is talentless and I'll never warm to that sort of pinched mouth pained expression he wears. No amount of propping is going to make me accept this JFP teacher's pet. None whatsoever. She methodically destroyed the characters of Adam and Billy and replaced the capable and talented actors who breathed life into them so she could make her fair haired boy The Star. I'll never forgive her for that, nor replacing the characters with her retooled, pussy whipped blonde male models. Ack.

 

And for everyone who is just squeeing with delight at Sharon being paired with Dylan, I think the way to view this development is with extreme caution. The character (and the actress that EB has made a cottage industry of reviling on Twitter at every opportunity) is heading for the cliffs IMO. While this pairing might warm the cockles of Turd's heart, it will start a fresh war with Sharon and Nikki, and it will drive a canyon-wide wedge between Nick and his half-brother the likes of which wasn't even seen in Adam's day. I mean, this is the "brother" he's had half a decent relationship with, even though his previous lady fair was still in love with her long lost soldier boy. And while I don't care if this bweaks poor liddle  Nicky boy's hard heart and crushes his ego, I just don't see this ending well for Sharon in the end. She'll be shamed and branded all over again by the family she just can't quit.

Don't get to watch regularly, so I'm a bit confused.  I saw most of today's Canadian show.   Is Austin really dead?    Did Kyle do it?   Did Abbey have something to do with it?

Kyle didn't do it. No one knows who did. I don't think any of the Scooby kids had anything to do with it.

 

Aaargh I want to like nuKyle solely because of how he totally looks like he could be PB's son. But he was dreadful today. His entire purpose was to listen to Summer and be loving and supportive and he was like a really bad high school actor. Or maybe middle school is more accurate. God they look like a pair of siblings. Zero spark and he's just such a baby (he's no longer in a tie and jacket and it immediately takes off about 8 years).

I agree so much. Nothing and no one is going to make SB a good actor all of a sudden. That is like saying SC made JM a good actor LOLOL .. SB sucks and will always suck no matter who he is paired with. I do not think this is going to be good for the Sharon character. SB's Dullan will be the one to come out of the story as the good guy. And given how Austin's character was introduced, and his repeated, "No expensive ties, Summer, I don't come from money" speeches, there is a possible progression. But sticking Stitch back into things as the delivery system seems contrived, or maybe I just don't enjoy the actor or understand what the character is doing in the current set of situations.

 

Now, having said that, I had several snoozes during yesterday's CDN, perking up only for my girl Ashley sharing her "We've all slipped with someone's husband, honey, just don't keep doing it like I did" speech. That was sorta fun.

OMG HK has screamed herself completely hoarse now although she could also be sick like AH.  Whatever she is doing her voice no favors in years to come.  I am hoping there is a God and she becomes too hoarse to continue and just turn the cue cards to the viewers!  LOL

I like this Austin storyline too.  It makes sense that he married Summer because he was likely going to go to prison.  But then once he was "free" he found out he was stuck in a different kind of prison.  And of course he saw how shallow and cray cray they all were.  Not that he has room to criticize, but given his background and his interest in film and making a career there, I could see how he evolved to this including using Abby in the process, because I don't think he would have had much respect for her either.

If Sage keeps her mouth shut and doesn't reveal Adam. Otherwise they are both up on fraud charges-she isn't just an accessory, she participated.   I also think the lawyer/executor would be vewwy, vewwy suspicious of the sudden 180 since they were assuring him that it was definitely not a marriage just to get the money.  Adam's advantage is no money but free to pursue Chelz (unless I missed something about him getting some inheritance if the marriage doesn't last).  Thing is, Sage is so confrontational and seems to have gotten some attitude from being around Nick, that I think  Adam may see her as a liability and she moves to #1 on the GC Hit List.

I really don't understand why Sage bothered with this whole identity switch in the first place.  She was already married to the real Gabe (from the brief flashbackstory seemed in love with him and maybe he her) and I doubt that the conditions of the will would have been adhered to if Gabe (or Sage) died before the three years.  Saving Adam, switching him, plastic surgery-ing him, nursing him seem like an awful lot of planning to do within the span of an accident, especially with an unknown quantity.  She had no idea if Adam even spoke English let alone would go along with the plan.
