jewel21 December 2, 2016 Share December 2, 2016 Ugh. Okay, so Mariah convinces Dylan to go on the GC Buzz and tell his side of the story. Dylan is respected and a cop, and Mariah believes Hilary really wants to tell the truth. Especially since Hillary wouldn't put the babysitter on the air. Mariah promises if things go bad, she'll literally pull the plug on the show. Dylan goes on the show, shows his support for Sharon, and the interview seems like a success. Dylan leaves and Hilary catches Mariah on the phone with Devon promising that the interview is legit and she's keeping Hilary in line. Mariah later passes by an editor who is editing the shit out of the nice interview and making Dylan look like an ass. She's outraged. And shocked. Can't someone just run over Hilary already? I really despise her and don't see what Devon sees in her. While Dylan is giving his interview, Sharon is meeting with Michael and asking him to draw up divorce papers. He doesn't agree with what she's doing, and thinks it's terrible that Dylan will lose not just his son, but his wife. Sharon insists she's doing this so Dylan will have visitation with Christian/Sully. Chloe and Chelsea are at the studio. Chloe lets Chelsea know she's going apartment hunting. Chelsea tries to convince her she doesn't have to leave, but Chloe says it's time. This was never meant to be a permanent solution and Chelsea agrees. Chelsea thinks it's time to stand on her own and learn to live without Adam. Nick is at home with Faith and Christian. Faith is sad because Sharon and Dylan can't go near the baby or they'll go to jail. Nick asks where she heard that and she's shows him her iPad and the GC Buzz article. Nick explains to Faith why Dylan and Sharon can't be around the baby right now. It's important for Christian to know who is dad is, etc. Nick and Faith then start making XMAS cookies and decorating them. Nick looks like he had a stroke while decorating his. Faith's cookie is pretty. Faith makes a comment about Nick's shitty artistic skill and I chuckle. Faith says they should have Chelsea over since she's an artist. Nick is reluctant at first but Faith mentions that Chelsea is family and she's still her Aunt even though Adam died and Nick finally agrees to call Chelsea. Chelsea comes over and they decorate cookies and Nick invites her to go shopping with him. She says yes and Nick calls the same sitter who was just at the GC Buzz trying to sell her story to the media. While Faith is alone with the sitter and Sully, we see Faith shout 'Christian, no!" and the scene cuts out. Nick gets a call from the sitter and says he's on his way. Dylan comes home and admits he was doing an interview. Sharon says she wants a divorce. All of this is interrupted when Faith calls in tears while at the hospital and says it's Christian. Sharon says she and Dylan are on their way. Well, this won't be awkward at all. Kevin shows up at the studio. Chloe is bummed Chelsea agreed they need to live in separate places. She starts acting like a bitch and says Kevin only cares about Mariah and always runs off when Mariah needs help. She later apologizes and Kevin asks her to move in with him. I think she said yes. I can't even remember anymore. There's also a scene where Paul runs into Michael and wants to discuss specifics about Sharon and Dylan and the restraining order, etc. Michael is reluctant but says hypothetically his client may want a divorce from her husband but Paul knows Dylan won't leave Sharon. And then I kind of blacked out and don't remember the rest. Previews show Nick asking Sharon and Dylan how could they have forgotten to tell him that his son has food allergies? Oh, shut up Nick. When were they supposed to tell you? When you barged over in the middle of the night and wanted to grab him? When you came over first thing the next morning and took him away without even grabbing his blankie? Or when you were getting a restraining order against them? Or was it all those times when you were screaming about "MY SON!" at the top of your lungs? Take a seat and FOAD. 14 Link to comment
Artsda December 2, 2016 Share December 2, 2016 (edited) Quote Nick explains to Faith why Dylan and Sharon can't be around the baby right now. It's important for Christian to know who is dad is, Yes, Adam! Then Dylan who has raised him. Not Dickalus. Nick didn't even care to ask them anything about Christian. His likes, his dislikes, his schedule. It's his own fault for not knowing about the allergy. He was too busy pissing on territory instead of really being a parent. "Aw shucks, ain't I just the cutest thing in shoe leather" Dickolas Newman turns into the Pout Monster ON A DIME. Yes, in a perfect world, they should have communicated all that to Dickolas, but what about this has been even close to perfect? And since he's supposed to be the world's greatest Dad, why the hell didn't he ever ask? It's not like the kid is exactly new or anything. And why didn't Victor know the kid was allergic to bananas? According to Victoria and Dickolas, he knows everything, all the time, about everyone. 13 Link to comment
jewel21 December 3, 2016 Share December 3, 2016 More dreck. Kevin is happy Chloe is moving in with him. So happy in fact, he starts packing up her things while she's not around. She finds out what he did and freaks out. Kevin is confused and Chloe says she likes her privacy. Kevin asks when because when they were married, she would leave her crap lying all over the place. Kevin accuses her of hiding Bella's father in the closet. Chloe says how could she hide a man in a closet and Kevin says she knows what he means. Chloe then proceeds to make up a story about how at the mental facility she would be searched all the time by the guards and it's left her scarred. Kevin apologizes and Chloe goes upstairs and gets a shoe box from the closet. She hugs it in relief and comes down the stairs silently to place it in one of the packed boxes. Mariah is upset with Hilary. Mariah demands to see the unaired footage next to the edited crap Hilary wants to air. Hilary totally butchered the interview. Mariah gets upset and pushes Hilary just as Devon walks in. He asks what's going on and Mariah tells him. Hilary says the interview was dull, and she wasn't going to air Dylan's one-sided story. Mariah leaves and tries to warn Dylan by leaving him a message. Hilary tells Devon she knows he hired Mariah to keep an eye on her. She's pissed off and is mad at Devon for basically implying she's a bitch but he says that's not what he means. The interview airs and Devon says the next story will not be edited and changed like this one. Hilary says no way and Devon says yes way or she's fired. Do it, Devon. Fire her ass. And then run her over with your Porsche, you weak, weak man. Ahem. Nick, Chelsea, Dylan and Sharon all show up at the hospital at the same time. Sharon wants to know what happened and Nick says the sitter only told him Christian broke into a rash. Sharon asks if he had strawberries and Nick becomes a self-righteous ass asking how could they not warn him his son has food allergies. Sharon loses her cool and says maybe Nick should have asked since he has a daughter allergic to nuts, heh. Stitch comes out and says the baby is fine and Nick goes in to hold him. Sharon is freaking out, saying she wants to see the baby but Chelsea says that's not a good idea. Shut up, Sharon. And shut up, Chelsea. Chelsea then goes in with Nick and Sharon has another fit because Stitch said immediate family only and Chelsea is in there. Sharon wants Stitch to make an exception but Stitch says he can't because of the restraining order and he would have to go to court if he allows them to see Christian and is caught. Can someone sedate, Sharon? Faith comes running and crying and hugs Sharon. She blames herself but Sharon says she's not at fault and it's not her responsibility to parent Christian. Nick comes out and brings Faith in the room with him to see her brother. Faith implores Nick to let Sharon and Dylan see the baby since they love him and finally Nick relents. Sharon and Dylan are surprised and happy and a little uncertain but Nick says it's not a trick. Sharon and Dylan hold the baby while Nick looks on from outside the window with Chelsea. Nick is scowling. Sharon says she can't just leave the baby but Dylan says they have to and she finally agrees. They go back into the hallway and Nick asks if Chelsea can bring Faith home but Faith wants to go home with Sharon and Nick says that's a good idea. Christian is to stay at the hospital for a few more hours under observation. Sharon, Dylan and Faith go home. Faith is happy and turns on the TV and it's set to GC Buzz and shows Dylan's interview. Faith is worried and Sharon wants her to change the channel but Dylan says he thinks it'll be fine. And then the interview airs and Dylan says Sharon is bipolar and he won't stand with her and Faith gets upset and Sharon sends her to her room. Dylan is freaking out since that's not what she said and Mariah told him the interview would be on the up and up but Sharon says with Hilary all bets are off. And it's crazy to think they were once friends. Nice of the show to acknowledge that bit of history. Mariah is at the park freaking out when Kevin runs into her. She asks if she can stay in her old room for then night but Chloe comes up and Mariah learns Chloe is moving in with him. Awkward. Nick and Chelsea are with Christian at the hospital when someone sends Nick a link on his phone. He opens it and sees the interview. Chelsea asks what that's about and Nick says he doesn't know but he definitely doesn't trust Sharon or Dylan and he's not backing down on keeping Christian from them. Previews show Faith coming downstairs and Sharon asking if she wants breakfast. But, Faith says she doesn't and just wants to go back home to Nick. 9 Link to comment

jewel21 December 3, 2016 Share December 3, 2016 You know what pisses me off about Nick? Aside from everything? He grabbed Sully and just took off. He didn't take any of his clothes, his toys, his blankie, nothing. Just bought a bunch of new stuff. Sharon came over with a box of his favourite things and he was like basically fuck off. I bought him all new stuff. At that age, I would have had favourite toys. And there would have been hell to pay if they were suddenly gone. I was a crier and a tantrum thrower. It's the fact Nick didn't think Sully would be attached to his old life, find comfort in HIS things. And if I hear him go off one more time about "MY SON" I'm going to scream. Why doesn't he just pee on the kid at this point? It's ridiculous. Sully is not a possession, he's a little human being with feelings and needs. I hope Sully grows up and murders Nick in his sleep. I placed his cage down on the table in the waiting room and walked away to get some hand sanitzer. His cage was covered except for the front part. As soon as I went out of sight, he started screaming shrilly, just this panicked sound I had never heard him make before. As soon as I rushed back in front of the cage, he calmed down immediately. He knew who I was and recognized me and associated me with 'safe.' I would assume a year old baby could do the same. jewel21 December 6, 2016 Share December 6, 2016 Sorry, no recap tonight. Rather than watching Y&R I had to spend six hours trying to find an abandoned kitten with Rhino a foster mother willing to bottle feed and take care of it. Finally got the kitten picked up around 9:30 PM. And what irks me is this is all my brother's fault. He was the one who found the kitten but as soon as he found out the work involved, he freaked out and dumped it on my aunt and cousin. And once I finally found transport, my aunt wanted to keep the kitten and that started a fight. Grr. Hopefully a recap tomorrow. 6 Link to comment
bannana December 6, 2016 Share December 6, 2016 jewel21, I will try to do a half-assed recap. Which is because I only half watch these days. Here's what I remember: Pricktoria got tons of flowers and a model boat. Instead of acting calm in front of her ex husband she went ballistic and was quite possibly abusive to her intern guy (did I mention I did my company's anti workplace harassment training today?) She was out of control. And I don't care. With the whole Christian storyline, Sharon and Dylan met with Michael who assured them that the stuff that happened at hospital would work to their advantage. Prick, Dick and Leslie met about the same topic and she advised them that because of the hospital situation, this works in Sharon/Dylan's favour. Sharon decided to not divorce Dylan. Cane is and was and will always be a complete idiot. But now he has this recovering from knee surgery and he is insane. Prick is trying to take over situation re SullyCan. Sharon/Dullen are trying to figure out if they go hard core after Dick; he's trying to figure out the same thing with Prick in his ear. Prick and Dick go to confront Dylan and Sharon. Then they get the call that judge is ready to rule. Plus there was a bunch of useless stuff re Abby and Stitch. YAWN. 8 Link to comment

bannana December 6, 2016 Share December 6, 2016 So today is supposed to be the new era, right? There was some good and some bad, but there were definitely some differences. The Good: The Abbott family having an old-fashioned Abbott family breakfast, with reminiscences about their dad, their childhood and Mamie's cinnamon rolls. Abby being an Abbott again. Mrs. Martinez being there and chiding Jack. Drinki and Victor having breakfast in their dining room; him reading the paper, her reading her news online. Dick and Vic having a coffee and a convo at her house. The general look and feel; slower-paced, elegant. The Bad: Drinki still being pathetic and now in addition to grovelling to Prick, she is doing the same to her son. It made me want to puke. Prick being refashioned into a kind-hearted but stern father, rather than the psychopathic egomaniacal piece of shit he is. Billy. Jill. Despondent Sharon and Dylan who cannot move past losing Sully. On the last point, I think this may be Dylan's Spoiler exit, as he espies Drinki, Dick and Christian through the window at the ranch. Maybe he decides that he and Sharon cannot get over the loss of Sully as long as they are together. 7 Link to comment

On the last point, I think this may be Dylan's Reveal hidden contents exit, as he espies Drinki, Dick and Christian through the window at the ranch. Maybe he decides that he and Sharon cannot get over the loss of Sully as long as they are together. I dunno, I'd put the part about Prick in the good column. He was always dickish to Drinki, but he wasn't always a psychopathic asshole to everyone else. Up until Shictor, I always found him rootable. 2 Link to comment

I think the whole fraud thing and the SEC, and Phyllis sided with him against Jack. So it has been downhill since then and I cannot accept redemption, with everything he has done. He is Donald Trump to me. I just want him to suffer. My favourite storylines were when his family turned against him, but that's all done now. 18 minutes ago, valleycliffe said: .so, nothing about court and visitation? shoot valleycliffe, at first they imply that Dick lost but then we go to the House of Sand and Fog and we learn from Dylan and Sharon that they lost. And they are in a deep despair. Everyone else is happy for Dick. 4 Link to comment

My favourite storylines were when his family turned against him, but that's all done now I watched this show when I was young with my grandmother, who adored Victor and I'm sure that shaped my views. I agree he now reminds me of a certain cheeto faced shit gibbon. But I guess I do want to see him redeemed and then retire. Plus, Jack never did a thing for me, nothing against him, he's just not my type. I get why Phyllis got so frustrated with him. He never once played it smart, so he always loses. Now, I'm not naive enough not to know that that's how he's written, but if I'm gonna suspend disbelief and go with show at face value, then he's a loser. 4 Link to comment
ezzylin December 6, 2016 Share December 6, 2016 (edited) I know how you feel, valley. It felt like a gut punch finding out that Sharon and Dylan get no visitation. Now we have to sit back and watch them be miserable while Dickolas raises Christian with Chelsea. The Newmans win, again. UGH. Edited December 6, 2016 by ezzylin 5 Link to comment
