The real Higgins was above that sort of tomfoolery!

Or, in this case, tomboobery?  ;>

I hate facial hair, to the point where it's generally a deal breaker. Saying that to say this: Victor should grow it back, asap. Short hair / clean face Victor is good looking; longish hair / scruffy face Victor is [description redacted so I don't corrupt any minors].

So, you’re saying Vic should “resurrect” his Jon Snow look?  ;)

I once dated a guy who had a scraggly mustache. At least I dated him until I saw him strain an enchilada through it. THAT was a deal breaker! He didn't even get a good night kiss - just ewwww.

That literally just made me dry heave. Yikes. Well done getting away from that disaster!

There's not enough "Hell yeah!" in the world.

I'd say bipolar Sam is a secret twin twist but her tattoos would make that kinda hard I suppose.

I think everyone is convinced that JC is the perfect goat since nobody can stand him and his horrible behavior. that's why he's been safe this whole time...

It may not be the popular opinion, but I like Paul. At least he played to win, not that he won, but he tried.

I liked Paul also, RealityRocks. Just my opinion, but I'd much rather watch a, season of Paul over a season of Cody. He was just terribly boring. I've said it before, IMO, only reason he was voted  Favorite houseguest was to piss Paul off.

Please! Let Sam and JC both go this week! I just cannot wait to see how they both react at getting voted out.

After Tyler heard Angela’s life/gymnastics/pole vaulting story, he said she’s such an amazing person.  All I really got out of it was that she’s an amazing athlete, which has very little to do with the kind of person she is.

Exactly,  He only said that because he's smitten with her.   Nothing she said indicated that she's an amazing person.  (Just that her parents are horrible, if we can 100% believe what she said.)

And for the record, we Michiganders do not add "uhhhhhh to the end of every word (see: Cory-uhhhhhhh!  Victor-uhhhhhh!  Where is everyone-uhhhhhhh?)

Thank you!  I was actually wondering about that.  :-)

Quite a talent Angela has.  It seems more a curse than a blessing.  idk.

Missed posting yesterday... but I have to say that it's def. more a curse than a blessing. I have a similar acuity, for example someone can slice watermelon up stars in the kitchen and I can call it out before I even get to the steps. This however didn't change anything for me, nor did her "life's drama" in any way 'humanize' her to me. I still think she's a stuck up and ungrateful bitch.

Hah, yeah I think that this was the main part of poor Nicole's confused state... unless they'd always talked about his cutting off his hair, which it doesn't seem they did. Nothing says 'amazing life changing event' like barely recognizing the person you just got engaged to...

I will be so sad if Haleigh goes to Jury on Thursday.  Does anybody think she might have a chance?

I am hoping somebody will think Haleigh harmless without her group of friends and backdoor somebody they think might be more of a threat.

Tears will flow IF Haleigh is voted out.  She has been one hell of a player and took an early swipe at the leaders of the pack.  Sigh.

I wonder if Julie will show up for Wednesday night.  Her husband was terminated, left the network on Monday.  Just saying.  She's taking a few days off from the talk show.  Sad..really sad.

Yes. It made the entire love-story we were subjected to feel really disingenuous. If you guys met up after the show, cause BB all hang out with each other, and something came of it....fine. But don't act like it was destiny from the minute you locked eyes across the round table; because we all know that's crap.

Well..... it has been said that Victor had a crush on her since the very beginning of their season together.  So he's been pining for her for quite awhile. Guy is determined! I wonder what job he has in or around Ubly. Wasn't he in Florida or something before BB?

My first thought, after reflecting on the episode, was that Nicole had already been proposed to before and that she was trying to sell the moment as being new and a surprise, but it just didn't work. I can't imagine Victor proposing to Nicole, and then not bringing their family and friends to celebrate. Why would the first people they wanted to tell be the BB alumni, after all? Plus, Nicole's not a great actress; her reaction was so underwhelming. I wouldn't be surprised if Victor proposed to her the week before and they were invited to reenact it.

Though the haircut was probably a genuine surprise. Nicole reacted more to that than the actual proposal. I actually didn't recognize Victor for a split second.

Nicole has always been SUPER awkward in situations where the attention is all on her.  To me that was normal awkward Nicole.  But WHY would Victor change his appearance so drastically??? That was a dumb idea on his part.  I've always thought he should cut his hair but why would you do it as a surprise with the proposal??

Sam helps, in that she isolates herself.  Who wants to hang with someone who nurtures spiders?  Nothing against spiders, but really?  Do the other house guests really know about the crazy?  Or is she just a little weird to them?

Yea they know. Most of the crazy shit she says is said to them.  She also talks to herself a lot and I think that's what they don't know about.

I assumed Sam was referring to them as psychological booby traps - i.e., somebody doing it specifically because the instigator knows that is a particular something which drives Sam up the fucking wall.  And I wouldn’t necessarily assume Sam is wrong about a HG intentionally doing stuff to trigger her, others.  Even if it’s not Hay doing it to aggravate Sam - which I wouldn’t 100% rule out - you can bet your ass JC would, especially if he thought he could rile Sam anonymously and watch (and cackle) while it happened.

Yes, that's what she meant.  She said Haleigh was doing this specifically to make her lose her shit, so not so much booby traps against the entire high, but traps against Sam.  Everyone in that house knows Sams trigger points.  Just the other night the boys were making a mess in the bathroom (mainly JC) and both JC and Brett were trying to tattle on each other by calling Sam and trying to get her to come look at the bathroom a mess.

I heard on the teevee that she is taking a few days to spend with family and perhaps hiding some cash in off shore banks accounts  and will be back for Thursdays Big Brother

Not that anyone can diagnose Sam's type of crazy, but is it evident why two pieces of fruit in a Tupperware container would irk/enrage her?  If I had leftover fruit, I'd put in a Tupperware (or similar) container, that's what their purpose is, to store leftover food.  I can't imagine the problem she'd have with it.

I think the key is the amount. Tupperware full of fruit = fine. Tupperware with two lonely grapes = rage, because there's a big intersection between that and someone who is too lazy to clean the Tupperware. Which, to be fair, isn't unwarranted annoyance when you're living in a house full of slobs.

I would rather watch the "crazy".  It is far more entertaining then what ever scraps TPTB  dig up.  I cant deal with another day that is remotely as bad as this episode of suck.

I believe she mentioned something about ripping every door from its hinges, etc., if she's nominated?  While I don't want to see a truly mentally ill person melt down live on my teevee while I snack on popcorn and cheap wine, it's been next to impossible for me to gauge if she's actually bi-polar (in which case, she never should've been cast in the first place) or is putting on a great act.  And also - I think she knows by now that in this particular game, people get nominated and possibly even evicted.  At this point she cannot possibly think that she alone is going to be immune to this, considering that she was on the block herself Week 1.

Yaknow, it IS within the realm of possibility for a person to simply be royally pissed off WITHOUT it being a symptom of mental illness - and I think that’s riiiiiight about where Sam was in that DR.  ;)

I think the armchair psychology about Sam has gone way over the top. We'll just have to wait and see how she behaves after it's over. IF she decides to be in the public eye at all. You never know.

I fully expect Sam to pull a total Donny after she gets out of this season.

Unfortunately, I don't know what that means.

Remember BB16’s Donny Thompson- “The Beard”? :)

Pre-BB16 Donny lived a very simple small country town life with pretty much zero technology interaction, much less SM presence - no Twitter, FB, Instagram, etc. - you get the idea.  Immediately after Donny got out of the House he tried going back to the exact same life as he had before BB, and totally dropped off the grid for a good while - pretty close to a year.

It didn’t last, of course; you can never really go home again, and WAY too many people knew Donny’s face and name now to permit him to return to his formerly pretty-much-anonymous existence.  Donny has since settled into a new style of post-BB life which appears to suit him well, but there was a necessary adjustment period - and Donny’s initial going-to-ground was what I was referring to when I mentioned “pulling a Donny”.  I can easily see Sam trying to do the same thing.
