Ok idk if this is too off topic for this thread... But does anyone watch catfish? So I just caught a rerun that had this batshit crazy girl named Tracey. Tracey took over this girls identity so she can bully people, and had no regrets about it. So I was so amazed with the crazy, that I went to the previously tv site for catfish and came across this article http://starcasm.net/archives/330422apparently this girls ambition is to be just like Farrah, she idolizes Farrah and manages to me even more crazy than Farrah, I did not know it was possible. I hesitated posting this because I don't want to give this girl any more publicity, she clearly thrives off of negative attention, but I'm posting it to make this point related to Farrah... This honestly makes me sick, and makes me feel gross that I've ever watched any of this. I don't mean it to shame others from watching, I've watched for a long time so I get the interest, and I believe this girl (Tracey) is clearly psychotic so I shouldn't stop watching for her sake... But at the same time it made me realize how much it's really not healthy to elevate the game of Farrah and similar train wrecks. Idk if that really makes sense. I'm just wondering how you guys feel about this... Am I crazy (not as crazy as this girl obviously)?

I actually feel really bad for that girl. Where are her parents? Friends, teachers? She needs a lot of help, probably inpatient treatment, and is obviously in deep emotional pain.

I was trying to decide if she is just a a troll, or mentally ill. I'm leaning toward a severe mental illness. I'm sure her friends bailed on her a long time ago, and unless she harms herself or someone else, there is not a lot family can do when the person is an adult. She is so lost in her mental illness that she doesn't even know she needs help to find her way out, and unfortunately, any assistance from family is probably met with push back.

 

There is that young adult from Nickelodeon* who appears to have schizophrenia, and her parents kept trying to get conservatorship and couldn't, even with all her contact with the police. They were constantly derided for not doing anything, and my heart hurt for them. I have a cousin with schizophrenia, it's a terrible disease when unmanaged, but can take a while to get the right med combo, at which point the formula changes a bit, and the cycle starts again. 

 

I hope this girl gets attention from medical personnel, and no more from the internet and never from MTV.

After I wrote this I found she was also on dr Phil, just like her idol Farrah. She claims she wants to be raped, does she realize rape is sex against your will... Thus you can't really "want" it. She wants to "leak" her sex tape (like Farrah) it's not leaked when you do it!! It's really gross.

I know this was a while ago and I don't know if anyone has said this yet but when Farrah was fighting with Larry about the mother/daughter therapy show, I think I recall someone asking about if it was the show that Brianna from TM3 is on but I've been watching The Mother/Daughter experiment on Lifetime and I think this is the show she was talking about.

I haven't heard of this show, WhoVengers221b, but I just searched for it and there are a few episodes On Demand. Oh man, it's a gift of craptastic reality shows! I think you are right. I'm not sure if I needed Farrah, Natalie, Kim Richards, Courtney, a few others, AND their mothers/daughters under one roof-- but I know I would have watched regardless.

Thanks for bringing this show to my attention. It's perfect! Farrah might have ruined it, though. I'm not sure yet. I gonna have to watch more episodes...

i know!! I'll be honest, I personally don't have kids, but this does seem like a joke I would make, so I'm not necessarily hating on the joke itself... One of my friends and I have a running joke of calling her daughters "glass slippers" whore hoppers... I find things like that funny... BUT I would never post it on social media where I have hundreds of thousands of followers and it is picked up by gossip mags (which is how I saw it I don't follow Farrah for the sake of my brain cells) and where people already incessantly pick my child apart.  I also did not make a "sex tape"... I'm not saying that because she is in the porn industry (whether she admits it or not)  she can't make jokes, but more the fact that it is already a sensitive subject, by her own admission, she gets made when people insinuate that she is in that industry so why would she put her child out there like that.

 

It reinforces why I don't feel bad about snarking on her (Farrah)... She claims all of this is so traumatic and she is continually victimized (which is a very real thing, I just don't buy it in this case)  yet she is the one who repeatedly puts this stuff out there.

Yes, it's the fact that she's sharing it with the public at large, and not whispering the joke to a mom friend on the playground, that really sticks with me. This is the same woman who gave Sophia her own, public Twitter page. She also brought her to the porn meeting. I'm sure nothing tawdry happened in front of the child, but still. The woman flies around the world, leaving Sophia in the care of her questionably sane grandparents months out of the year. But THIS you need to bring her to? Okay.

Literally the only thing I do respect about Farrah is her career in the adult industry. Girl markets hard and there isn't any shame at all in sex work as far as I'm concerned. I hate when the other TM girls rag on her about it like they're above that themselves in some kind of way. However, she should own it and won't. Because she's, you know, a psychopath and such. 

Her parenting is one of the creepiest things I've ever seen in my life. Hands down. On all counts. It's just fucking weird.

And Farrah is not the best mom to be behind a child with that career - I'm sure she wouldn't caution her at all about eating healthy and being wary of predatory men who would take advantage of her. You are right that woman is seriously stupid as the address is not listed on any social media accounts and the website is down, the only reference is Austin Texas so after some googling I found the ribbon cutting listed on the local chamber of commerce site, went to google street view and found that it was previously a frozen yogurt shop that moved to a new location in April 2015.

Let me preface this comment by saying that I have absolutely NO PROOF of what I'm about to say, and have thought long and hard about whether or not to say it since the only reason to put it out there would be to say "I told you so" later. A little background - I worked as a paralegal for 15 years and most of the cases I worked on were contract disputes between businesses. 

Many months ago, someone posted something about Farrah's boyfriend Simon(?) with a link to an article that discussed bad reviews on Yelp for some rental properties he and his girlfriend at the time were in charge of renting for short-term vacations. The reviews were bad, and it turned out that his girlfriend ultimately left him and received a protection order against him. I don't remember if it was just one property or two, and I didn't refresh my memory, but it wasn't very many. 

He then started a business staging homes for sale with furniture. Someone else in his family, I think, was flipping houses, and he was staging them for sale. There was something in the public records linked in the article, that jumped out at me, and I said to myself that I hope he keeps his taxes paid, because he is one audit away from his money laundering scheme collapsing. 

Later, Amber started talking about flipping houses, and Farrah tweeted to her about it and that she and her boyfriend suggested it to them. I laughed again and wondered if Amber would be dumb enough to launder money too, because otherwise, she's not going to make the money she thinks she is. Sure enough, her name is not on the property, just her sleazebag, and she has a tax lien which probably isn't related to the house flipping.

Now Farrah is opening a frozen yogurt shop, and has several other little business, including a staging company and pasta sauce company, and I think she was doing something with Sophia for kids. Farrah has always shown an ability to work, from the pizza shop in high school to the porn industry, so it is possible that all of her business ventures are on the up and up. But I'm pretty sure Simon's are not.

Interesting... Time will tell, I suppose. Time and confidence always seem to be what gets a person busted. Intelligence doesn't seem to matter from what I've noticed in that type of crime. Sure sounds like a scenario Farrah would be involved with. It would actually help make sense of that family as well, if things were to play out like that. Hmm.
