Snarky McSnarky December 10, 2015 Share December 10, 2015 (edited) Yes, it was a Model Home, and Farrah purchased the furnishings along with the house. Everything was new at the time, but now it is a house full of used furniture. It isn't clear from the listings whether the furniture is included in the sale or rental of the property. It can be frustrating to have a house sit on the market month after month. I had the same experience after my brother passed away in Texas. Paying property taxes on a vacant house is no fun. It was a decent house that was was not overpriced, but it took well over a year to find a buyer who actually qualified for a mortgage. At least there were no monthly HOA fees to pay. Farrah's house has HOA dues of $450/month. There must be a private recreational lake or something in that development. Note: See correction below! I wonder if she's planning on moving out of Austin. If not, it's odd that she is trying to sell so soon after buying it -- unless she can't afford the mortgage, taxes, HOA dues, etc. CORRECTION: HOA dues are $105 per month! qtpye December 10, 2015 Share December 10, 2015 That is the problem. Even if there is any truth to what she is saying about the assault, Farrah is a lying liar that lies, and this is what discredits her. I would not have any problem believing she was assaulted, if all she had was a fake sex tape, I understand that just because a woman decides to be a part of the adult film world does not mean their rights to be respected as a human being are lessened. However, Farrah lies horribly and stupidly about every aspect of her life. She has no credibility whatsoever.. 5 Link to comment

bref December 10, 2015 Share December 10, 2015 It really is unfortunate that Farrah appears to just be jumping on the bandwagon as far as Deen is concerned. Qtpye has it exactly right, she has no credibility. I hope she doesn't actually HARM the case the other women are making. (OT response to maharincess: Sometimes you have no choice. When husband and I downsized from our suburban home after our daughter finished college, we wanted a townhouse or condominium. Those are all controlled by HOAs. We don't care for it much, but we could no longer afford to keep up a single family home. That said, I would never buy a house in an HOA community, for exactly the reasons you mentioned.) 4 Link to comment
alexa December 11, 2015 Share December 11, 2015 Interesting about Farrah's house. Sorry if I missed it, but where is she living/wants to live instead of that house? Just curious why she was selling. HOA's can be a good thing (not at that price necessarily), as it does help keep up a neighborhood to some degree. Letting people do whatever they want to do with their house and yard is not always a good thing :-) I have seen those results when driving in random neighborhoods. 3 Link to comment

I have twice been the unfortunate neighbor of someone who had multiple junker cars that sat in the yard or that started re-siding their house, only to lose interest halfway through. Total eyesores. That said, I'd still rather deal with aesthetic distress than pay those kinds of fees. 1 Link to comment

SinInTheCamp December 12, 2015 Share December 12, 2015 I've had an HOA for a couple of different properties, and I loved it. First, it prevented neighbors from painting their houses neon green (as some of the TMs would certainly be tempted to do) or to put up a banner over the garage with the website ordering information for Farrah's prosthetic buttholes. Sometimes, HOAs take care of trash and snow removal. And if the neighborhood has parks, trails, or golf courses, they become privatized for the HOA community's use. My HOA fees also included security guards who patrolled the neighborhood around the clock, which made me feel safe. Of course, nothing could incite me to move into a community that housed Farrah, no matter how many perks the HOA offered. 1 Link to comment
Maharincess December 12, 2015 Share December 12, 2015 What I don't get is why is it wrong for somebody to paint a house they own neon green? I my not like the color but its really none of my damn business what color somebody chooses to paint their house. I just don't get that. Who gives a crap what color somebody paints their house? It doesn't matter to me,its their business not mine. 7 Link to comment
GreatKazu December 12, 2015 Share December 12, 2015 I am so glad I live in a different state than Farrah. Although, there was that time she wanted to live close by when she was shown house hunting in Los Angeles. *shudder* To this day, whenever I am on the freeway and I use this particular exit to go into Los Angeles, I pass the Vivid building. It never fails, I always think of Farrah. I don't think of any other person who dealt with Vivid. Only Farrah. She gives them a bad name. lol As for green-colored homes. I grew up on a street where the neighbors next door had their home painted a blue color with black trim. The blue color is pretty intense. They never had it any other color. This was back in the 60s when my dad bought our family home brand new and these neighbors moved in shortly thereafter. To me, it was never strange or outrageous. It was just different in comparison to other homes. It stood out, but that's about it. The neighbors were so friendly and the wife, who was in her late 90s, just passed recently. Her oldest boy moved in and still, that house remains that crazy blue color with black trim. He has no intention of painting it any other color. When I see that home to this day, I think of the lovely family that lived there and how many memories we shared as neighbors. 4 Link to comment
alexa December 13, 2015 Share December 13, 2015 Its about property values. If someone paints their house neon green or is a junk collector in their yard their neighbors can't sell their own homes because buyers don't want that neighbor. I get that you don't want an HOA but that is one reason they have some rules. To protect other homeowners. As also stated above they cover other community costs like garbage and roads, etc. 5 Link to comment

As also stated above they cover other community costs like garbage and roads, etc. Right, exactly. Some people like for their neighborhoods to look homogeneous (and I'm not necessarily one of those people): similar paint colors, landscaping, etc. And if someone has a persistently barking dog or there's another neighborhood issue, the parties involved can take it to the HOA rather than to the police, so the HOA can serve as a nice mediation. I totally get why some people wouldn't mind a neon green house, but others do desire a more "planned" look for personal aesthetics as well as property values, because lots of people like neat, well-tended, sedate-looking neighborhoods. Different strokes, and all that. ON TOPIC: I looked through the Zillow photos of Farrah's house and, at first glance, I thought the ballerina silhouettes on the wall in Sophia's room were either exotic dancers or those silhouettes of women that you see on the flaps of big rigs. With Farrah, I wouldn't have been at all surprised if she deemed either of those appropriate decor for a kindergartner! 4 Link to comment

Tatum December 16, 2015 Share December 16, 2015 If there is a movement to boot Farrah due to her unprofessional behavior, I am more than fine with that. My only problem with Maci's little tantrum last year was that her objection was based on Farrah's porn career. If all the girls stand together and say, we hate working with Farrah and won't do it anymore, I would support that 100%. 3 Link to comment
Stilllovingjj December 16, 2015 Share December 16, 2015 Agree. Last season's tantrum was ridiculous. However, if the reports are true, Farrah should absolutely have her contract ripped up and not be paid for what she hasn't filmed. If I yelled at and shoved anyone at my job, I sure wouldn't expect to continue working there. 4 Link to comment
qtpye December 16, 2015 Share December 16, 2015 If she became physically violent with anyone on camera then charges should be filed. Farrah should be booted from the show, because she is a despicable human being. Last year, Maci trying to take the moral high ground because of the porn was stupid (Maci has no room to talk), but this is serious. Farrah does not realize the only reason other reality shows want her is because of Teen Mom. Without the show she is nothing. Who am I kidding? She is reality t.v. gold, and we will probably see her our screens until she literally murders somebody. 5 Link to comment
DoctorWhovian December 17, 2015 Share December 17, 2015 I hate Farrah but Teen Mom would be so boring without her. It would literally be an hour of sitting on a couch or eating out at places that allow filming. Amber will complain about Gary. Cate and Tyler will talk about Carly and how they're going to do "it" for her ("it" is subject to change). Maci will want to get married / have babies to get married. 5 Link to comment
MyPeopleAreNordic December 18, 2015 Share December 18, 2015 Props to the production person she hit for not smacking her back. I can't promise I would have handled that so well (and I am generally a non-violent person). I wish the production team would have called the police and pressed assualt charges. Maybe a few hours in Texas jail (until Michael bailed her out) would have done her some good. 5 Link to comment

qtpye December 18, 2015 Share December 18, 2015 I think Farrah is on a power trip, since she was originally banished last season and brought back. She probably thinks the show can't live without her. The funny thing is that she was banished for a stupid reason (her fake porn) and has not really brought anything to the table once she was brought back. She has nothing going on in her life but porn related appearances and I have a feeling that those are going to go down, since she is not really well liked in that community (is she liked anywhere?). Farrah does not even have a fake insincere boyfriend to take up camera time this season. I think she is mad because they did not let her go film another trashy reality show, but teen mom and 16 and p is the reason she is a z list reality star in the first place (plus they pay her a ton of money). I think the other girls realize that once this show is gone the will fade into obscurity. Farrah thinks she is star and does not need this show. 1 Link to comment

Agreed, I'm not going to tell anyone how they should mourn, I'm sure she does actually have some sadness related to Derek's death, but the way she parades it about is what makes me skeptical. On 16 and pregnant she denied his existence, but then he dies and they were star crossed lovers? And as far as Sophia is concerned... He died before she was born... And while that doesn't mean she can't mourn or be sad or wonder about him, she's 6, so I suspect it's more that Farrah is imposing that on her at this point, which isn't healthy for her (Sophia). I think it's ok for Sophia to have questions and they should definitely talk about Derek, but I worry the picture that Farrah paints is very far from reality. 5 Link to comment

God forbid I end up in a similar situation, you keep pictures around and you answer questions if they come up (why don't I have a daddy or where's daddy or similar). You can visit the grave, maybe on birthdays or anniversaries or other significant dates, and bring up the story and share memories. But it's just so damn obvious that this whole thing is just for the camera and I think its a huge disservice to Sophia and to Derrick and his family. While I can see how it can be annoying to see Farrah be coddled, they are filmed as 4 separate entities, it's not like the real housewives where they are expected to film social gatherings with all of them there, they literally only have to film reunion/after shows and all of that is done in a few day time span. Farrah shows her ass just fine on her own (literally and figuratively) but this little mean girl act from the others actually looks worse on them than Farrah in my opinion... How bat shit crazy do you have to come across as for Farrah to be the more level headed (don't get me wrong I don't think she is level headed at all, just that it's pretty dumb for the others to be so invested in hating her). Btw, on an unrelated note, the my are showing another marathon of earlier seasons today, and the episode where Farrah has to make up a restaurant for her final from culinary school is on right now... I didn't remember the specifics of the "MBA" conversation But now seeing it again all I can do is laugh. They are both so delusional, Debra is telling Farrah they graded her assignment wrong, when Farrah did the assignment wrong.., they asked for a menu and she gave a whole (albeit crappy) business plan. I knew there had been some discussion of Debra having a Executive mba vs Mba, but I thought maybe Farrah just assumed a executive mba was more prestigious than a regular Mba... But Debra actually says it is a more advanced degree! My sister actually has an executive mba, so I asked her... She said an executive MBA is marginally higher ranked only because it requires work experience and it's a little harder to get into one... But not really different enough to be bragged about, in fact she is currently looking into doctorate programs because she is already about as high in rank as she can get with her emba, and she's only had it for about 7 years (she is a marketing manager for the state of Florida with Comcast), but she is also a chronic overachiever, which make being her little sister hard since I'm just a regular achiever...lol. Also Farrah is on pins and needles whether she is going to graduate with one bad grade... I just recently graduated (nursing, nothing business related) and I'm no stranger to worrying about grades... And I know final grades are weighed differently, but if one grade is going to bring her down enough to potentially not graduate, her grades must not have been too good to begin with. I failed an entire class (it's a long story, my whole class failed so obviously it was a teacher issue not necessarily my fault) and still had no worries about whether I would graduate, I didn't even have a 4.0 going in to it I made a/b's (even the class I failed I had a 78, but at my school below 80 was considered failing). 3 Link to comment

SPLAIN December 22, 2015 Share December 22, 2015 (edited) I agree. The other girls don't have filming time with Farrah. It is not like other reality shows where the cast has to film together and pretend to be social and friendly. There is no interaction other than at promotions and the reunion shows. How often is that? Not that often. Are they made to sleep in the same hotel room? No. Are they made to eat together? Only if they choose to eat together like they did at that last promotion, but other than that, go eat at a restaurant. Farrah hits a producer. Why then didn't the producers fire her ass? It is a crime to hit someone Why didn't they file charges? The girls should walk away from the show as a collective group if they are bothered that a producer had been hit. They can say they can't be part of a show where a cast member is violent. Oh wait...that means they won't get paid. It is also pretty damn hypocritical since Amber herself has been an abusive bitch in the past AND it occurred in front of her child. Why wasn't there drama made about that situation? Where was the outcry then? Why didn't demand that Amber can't be part of a show where a child has been in the middle of a domestic violence situation and in the custody of a person with drug issues? Farrah has always been bat-shit crazy. But it is pretty strange to me that the girls are suddenly having these power trips after the porn tape came out. Suddenly, they equate themselves at a better level than Farrah. They act all saintly with their better than thou attitude. For me, not one of them is any better than the other. If Farrah is off her rocker, and I have always felt she has psychological issues, how is she any different than Amber, who came from a shitty environment with her fucked up parents and her eventual drug addiction? Catelynn's mother and step-father were/are addicts and Butch did a prison stint. Maci acts all shocked at someone making a porn tape. That girl needs to have several seats and get over this attitude about porn and stop the shaming. She needs to look at herself and realize why she isn't married. Because she is giving away sex for free. Why buy the cow when the milk is free? Dumb ass. I agree leighroda, the rest of the girls are making themselves look worse than Farrah with their mean girl attitude. I loathe Farrah with a passion, but they are not in a position to be pointing fingers. All of this started with that damn porn tape. It has just morphed into something more due to Farrah not taking the shit from her fellow castmates. Whatever Farrah may be, she is not the one who ever pointed fingers at Amber or Catelynn, and believe me, there is a lot about those two that she could have said about them during the course of this show. In fact, I think Farrah even defended Amber from one of Gary's rants. Farrah herself has said she doesn't need this piece of shit show because she makes millions doing other things. She likely doesn't need it. MTV needs Farrah, and that is what chaps the ass of these other girls. They are not interesting enough. Farrah may get coddled, but these girls have been coddled as well in different ways. Did Amber pay for her Malibu rehab stint? Nope. MTV did. If the girls are truly that bothered, then they can quit. Lesia December 22, 2015 Share December 22, 2015 Daily Mail has an article saying Farrah wants to adopt a baby. Lord help us all... http://www.dailymail.co.uk/tvshowbiz/article-3369864/Teen-Mom-star-Farrah-Abraham-24-reveals-adopting-child.html 1 Link to comment
Indy December 22, 2015 Share December 22, 2015 Wanting to adopt a baby and actually adopting a baby are two different things. Sure, she might be going through the "adoption process" but that can take years (start to finish for my son was nearly 4 years). Hopefully she'll get bored with the process before she ever gets placed with a baby. 3 Link to comment
leighroda December 22, 2015 Share December 22, 2015 She's been saying that for a while, along with her aspirations to be a plastic surgeon... Hopefully it's all talk. I guess she just needs someone to talk to when Sophia is doing her own thing. 5 Link to comment
GreatKazu December 22, 2015 Share December 22, 2015 (edited) Nothing will ever make me root for Farrah. I wouldn't want to deal with her crazy ass either. I'm watching the marathon right now and there's something seriously wrong with her. She's fucking crazy. I don't blame the other girls for trying to get rid of her. Besides, Farrah herself has said she doesn't need this piece of shit show because she makes millions doing other things. I am not rooting for her in the sense that I like the girl. I cannot stand her. What I dislike is the mentality of the other three girls who act as if their shit don't stink. That is why I root for Farrah in the sense that she doesn't take their shit and gives it right back to them. Those girls are all quick to talk shit about Farrah, but not one of them has had the balls to actually talk like they did in that video to Farrah directly. If there is one thing I dislike is, people who talk the talk but don't walk the walk. Talking behind people's backs is easy. The way Maci was all up in the producers and other crew members' faces when she told them she was not going to film anymore was all fine and dandy until she met up with Farrah and suddenly she began squirming because she knew she couldn't handle what Farrah was dishing out. I so badly want to see someone put Farrah in her place, but good. These three heifers are not the ones who are going to do it and they shouldn't because they have their own fucked up lives. Who are they to say anything, especially Amber? Edited December 22, 2015 by GreatKazu 8 Link to comment
Maharincess December 22, 2015 Share December 22, 2015 I get you Kazu, its just that I loathe Farrah with such an intensity that I guess I'm just rooting for anybody who's against her. Watching the marathon and seeing her behavior just reinforced how much I can't stand her. She can't speak to ANYBODY with respect. It doesn't matter who it is, she talks to them like they're garbage. Even though I don't much care for any of them, at least with the others its possible to find something positive to say about them. I find noth positive to say about Farrah. 7 Link to comment
poopchute December 22, 2015 Share December 22, 2015 I can't imagine many people are looking for an adoptive parent who sells molds of her vagina on the Internet. No offense to anyone here who may sell vagina molds but I feel like those portfolios are filled with actual decent people who can speak a coherent sentence and don't have footage of themselves getting fucked in the ass on the Internet so I feel like it's hard to imagine anyone selecting her. 3 Link to comment

Someone needs to set Farrah straight on her rancid behavior. She can't be getting away with what she dishes out, but then there are those who are more than happy to pay her to behave that way, including MTV. I don't like that she may have gotten physical with an MTV employee, but those assholes keep hiring her season after season, and they pay her for that behavior. They reap what they sow. Farrah is not putting on an act either. That is her in all her glory. There was footage on Youtube where she was chewing out some poor cell phone employee. Farrah is horrid and I look forward to the day when she is no longer reaping the rewards for that behavior. The same holds for the rest of the girls. qtpye December 23, 2015 Share December 23, 2015 Probably if Farrah was a regular person she would have naturally toned down her behavior or suffered the consequences. Unfortunately, being a Z list reality show celebrity has both fed into her insecurities and her delusions of grandeur. She thinks she is a "star" and probably means to make Sophia just like her. She was already talking about Sophia's "career" in that linked interview and seemed pleased as punch that the interviewer called her the most important kid in the show...or something to that effect. She can make a ton of money be being her own horrible self and that feels wrong. However, i guess I am a part of it, as I watched the show for many years. 4 Link to comment
MyPeopleAreNordic December 23, 2015 Share December 23, 2015 (edited) Farrah is a disgusting, vile person and is probably very mentally ill. However, I can find one positive thing to say - she does seem to have much more hustle and work ethic than the other TM girls. While the others have either never really worked outside of TM or worked sporadically, Farrah has always been shown having a job, even while going to school and filming TM. She took what "fame" TM gave her and parlayed it into a porn career complete with body part molds. I don't like her and would hate to interact with her, but girl does have some hustle. While Maci took eight years or so to get her AA (IF she does have it), Catelynn has done squat besides promote Bethany Christian Services, and Amber has sat on the couch (aside from her prison stint), Farrah has completed an Associate's degree in Culinary Arts Management (from Metropolitan Community College), consistently worked, and built a career for herself outside of TM. So there's that. That's all I've got to say that's positive about her. I think Michael and Debra created this strange, toxic, abusive, & codependent environment when she was young (and especially once she was pregnant) and are also both probably mentally ill. Since mental illness usually starts to become apparent in one's 20s, the full extent of Farrah's mental illness has started to really become apparent in recent years. Poor Sophia. Good luck, kid. I'm hoping there's some genes on Derek's side that will somehow help her become a well-adjusted, polite human being but that Farrah's work ethic does rub off on her. Snarky McSnarky December 23, 2015 Share December 23, 2015 Given the way Farrah treats everyone from show biz mucky-mucks to servers at fast food restaurants, I am very surprised that someone hasn't hauled off and knocked her ass into the dirt. If she were male, I have no doubt that it would have happened early and often, especially when she put her hands on the other person. But there's no shortage of females who will lay waste to another female, and Farrah is really temping fate. 7 Link to comment
Elizabeth9 December 23, 2015 Share December 23, 2015 Don't you have to be screened mentally in order to adopt? I can't imagine any reputable adoption agency even considering her. If they do, I need to run out to adopt, because I'd be saving some baby from Farrah. 3 Link to comment

If they do, I need to run out to adopt, because I'd be saving some baby from Farrah. You do have to do a screening for most agencies. I have a friend who was considering adoption and the agency she was looking into didn't even allow her to be on antidepressants (which I think is horrible) I don't think porn would necessarily disclude her from being able to adopt, but her overall attitude might. I'm guessing she would not take child with any special needs, I have no idea if she would consider international, but I think that would be her only chance really. I agree with her hustle... I don't like her at all but the only marginally redeeming quality is that she does work hard, she's one of the only moms who would be 100% ok without teen mom (financially) I wouldn't necessarily do porn or sell sex toys, but at the end of the day that's not my decision. Even in the earlier episodes when she wasn't speaking to her family, she needed extra money and she went to her boss at the pizza place and asked for more hours instead of crying on the couch where was she going to get this money. That being said though, money doesn't fix crazy, and I really try not to throw that word around but I really don't know what else to call the circus of Farrah's life. 7 Link to comment
