Just sincerely trying to understand the depth and breadth of your legume-soup-phobia, because that's something I have never encountered before.

I don't eat only three things - fennel, eggplant and cooked onion where it is discernible on its own (like onion rings, sautéed onions as a topping, etc.) - but they don't terrify me.

It is not a phobia as much as a visceral reaction in which my body starts to reject it at smell alone.  It's both a texture and taste issue.

About the only way I liked cooked onions is in ring form. But I have to be in the mood for them and that doesn't happen very often.

Never had split pea soup but it doesn't look appetizing to me. I love fresh peas, though.

Yikes! Not a good way, for sure! Hope you're not having any more panic attacks now.

No, not good. Made it hard to eat because I had trouble swallowing and was afraid I'd choke on something. Then people would tell me I looked good and I'd be like, uh, thanks... That was 15-20 years ago, though. I still get anxiety but I learned how to recognize it and talk myself down before it gets to the panic stage, so it's been quite a while since I had a true panic attack. I could stand to lose 20 pounds again but I think I'll try a different method this time.

With the wigs and the clothes that she chooses, Dr Lola always looks like a little girl playing dress-up!

Her voice doesn't help, either.

She waddles worse than most people I remember seeing on the show.  I wonder if that will go away when she loses more weight?  That posture and that gait sure will give her hip and knee pain she is complaining about.

Maybe she has a lot of excess skin in the way? Some of them have those hanging stomachs or lymphedema?

They way she positions her legs doesn't suggest a hanging stomach to me, more like her thighs being like big balloons.  I suppose she could be carrying most of her extra weight in her thighs...

WTF is Michael so angry about? I really can't remember from his original episode. I do remember him taking out his anger on both her and her kids.

Angry guys scare me when it comes to relationships. No way am I walking on eggshells waiting for him to explode and do God knows what. Just take a look at that angry abusive bastard that killed the four kids and then himself in Florida this week.

Michael is not even trying to pretend to care.  Not sure whether I find this honesty refreshing or that "screw it all" attitude annoying.

I know what you are saying but I am finding it annoying. He’s wasting people’s time and he’s affecting Roni’s ability to be successful and have a supportive partner. She even had to tell him to shut up and not ruin her mood when she was approved. He’s a selfish ass

A kindred. I had the most gawd-awful panic attacks about 20 years ago, and now just some minor anxiety. The first place I feel it is always in my throat. I thought it was just me.  Glad you’re doing better. I’d rather take a punch from mike Tyson than have a panic attack ever again.
