-Charlotte: white college aged girl. Spoiled and has divorced parents. Kind of snobby and obnoxious. Any hair color. 18 to 22. Scene is with Molly.

So "daniel" is probably Paul's son with Jenny Eckert.

I don't know, the Cassadines and Sonny and underground were mentioned, so I have a weird feeling they're rewriting a lot of Ron's shit now.

I think it could be Curtis's son. It sounds like TJ though. The names they use for casting calls aren't exactly the characters names. The auditioning with Molly or having a scene with her threw me off, plus TRi has that Showtime pilot. Maybe it was picked up and they want to get another actor on the hook to misuse. I'm a bit thrown that any name actor/actress would sign up to be fools for Sonny/Carly. It's not the 90s. The golden age of soaps has passed. There's no way Melissa is Claudette because a med student or college student would get a student visa and not need a green card marriage. Then again, this is a dumb story. Canada isn't a bad place. Why not add some literal needed color to the show and have an Indian woman or a Pakistani woman? There are literally all white people, 5 Italian people, 5 black people, and 2 Asian people. That could be a huge reason why daytime dramas are failing as a whole.

Look at the casting calls- white guy, white girl, white girl, older white guy, older white lady. Oooh. I'm so intrigued. ABC has a very diverse nighttime line up, but the blandest soap ever.

they're cable guide spoilers. They were posted in the above thread  at DD, which has always been accurate unless someone weirdly decided to make it up for the week of the 25th. But sometimes cable guide spoilers can insert the wrong name once in a while too.

Huh, they do look legit.  Sorry if my question came off snitty, something about these just seemed off.  That one about Nina and Julian in particular seemed super random, but it's not like the show hasn't pivoted towards a super random pairing in its day.

 

I really, really, REALLY hope Lucas' plan isn't surprising Brad with a wedding at the Nurses' Ball.  I am dreading what the show has planned for them.

Yeah, I agree. And who knows whether this bunch of teens will show up anyway. They actually had one of Lucy's daughters on the set last year (remember that whole thing where the crewman posted a picture and then he had to take it down cause it was a "spoiler"?) and that didn't even make it to the screen.

 

It would be interesting to see how long GH would last (and I'm not being sarcastic, it would be) if FV actually went through with it and just completely cut the Maxie, Dante, Lulu, Liz, Nikolas, Alexis, Anna, Carly (anyone I'm missing?) and just featured the mish mash of soap superstars and models starring GH vets Sonny and Sam that he clearly wants to.

I hope the casting calls never see the light of day on screen. I hear stories all the time of actors who read for parts and those parts never materialize.

We have enough people who aren't being used. I understand they think the show needs a teen/young adult scene for the summer. But there wasn't one last summer and the show didn't implode because of it. It was imploding because of the stupid Luke exit storyline. If the writers can't use who they have, hiring more people won't help.

 

Besides, what happened to no new characters for a while? Although it's been six months, I guess they think "a while" is long over.

So, instead of AJ raising Jason's son after legitimately falling for Liz, which would have been soapy - or Jason regaining some of his memories and finding Carly and AJ in a relationship with Michael calling him dad, which would have been super soapy --- Liz is going to raise her children with Franco....Franco, the Serial Killer who kidnapped one of her children and was obsessed with the father of one of the others. Um....W.T.F.?

There are way too many damn people on this show as it is. If they want to beef up the teen/young adult scene, fine, but they need to get rid of at least 15 characters already on canvas.

The saddest thing is that they are bringing back Lucy, and Nina, post crazy antics, is just a thrift shop Lucy Coe. That whole scene with Julian when she finds out he was sabotaging Crimson? MS's acting was so old school Lynn Herring, especially the OTT yelling and breathlessness. Point being, that both aren't needed. Why not just kill Nina, or send her and Franco out of town to raise that baby they just made? Let Lucy take over Crimson.

I dgaf, if Michael Easton can have 5 characters then so can other actors. Let Roger Howarth be recast AJ. And bring back Ted King. Why? Because he is awesome. Then put him with LW because fuck Mo. Or put him with Finola Hughes because fuck Mo. I like RB, but if Liz can't even have her son aged or a house, then she damn well doesn't get a family. Age Cam. Give Jason a brain. Grow it in a jar. I'd love this, but FV screwed him over on OLTL, and I'd be surprised if he wanted to come back to GH.

Wasn't that more on RC not writing for the character? Simply based on the writing alone it seemed Ron didn't care for TK or his character. I'd like to see TK back, especially if the writers can refrain from putting him in another asinine mob storyline and give him story with the other characters (even TK said Lorenzo's fight with Sonny made no sense).

They would have to tap dance around the whole Tomas/Lorenzo connection that was eluded to when RC was HW (Lorenzo pretending to be Tomas was what Carly and Skye speculated to be the case), but I'd like to see him back.
