I don't think she looked trashy but the makeover they gave her didn't do her any favors. I think she had the look but not the personality. I liked how she stood up to everyone and was true to herself.

Every former DCC posts pics of themselves in their uniform after they've been cut/retired. Shoot, I'd do it too. It's hard to make that team and being on it for 1 season is a major accomplishment.

Thanks!  Her baby is so adorbs and she looks happy.  She has definitely gained some weight (from happiness I hope!).... it's so interesting how people look different with changes in weight.

No denying Abigail Klein is gorgeous, and seemed nice, but girl was bottom of the heap dancer - even for 10 years ago. She probably wouldn't make it today, and definitely not show group, based on dance and that midsection. Yes, she was on weight watch.

I don't get the Ashton Torress hype. She was a good dancer, but was cute at best. Shoe polish black hair, bolt on boobs, orange tan, chipmunk cheeks. I never thought she was beautiful or gorgeous. Mostly just cute. 

Brooke Sorensen came off as manly to me. On the verge of Butch. Still an amazing dancer, but the opposite of 'DCC' glam prissy. Not saying she shouldn't have made it or I dislike her, but she was so opposite of DCC. 

Brittany Evans is super talented, but always came off to me as more simpering fake saccharine sweet than genuinely nice. Like she was doing nice things to promote herself more than help others. 

Kitty Carter is the best part of the show. She is the most direct and literally hands on. I know exactly what she's trying to convey, and she knows her stuff. I don't think I've ever disagreed with a word she's said.

Last - Olivia Carter - hated her! Very talented, no doubt, but she always came off like she knew she was superior and snooty. Plus she had one of the most unattractive faces for a DCC and stringy hair.

I think getting a nose job was the best move for Lacey.  I never thought she was pretty when she first made it but when I saw her the next year I couldn't believe how pretty her face was.  I love her new nose!

I was a bit meh and thought the same about Jordan too, until she started posting about the process of adopting her little boy last year. Beautiful. Warmed the cockles of my cold black heart.

My unpopular opinion: I'm not a huge fan of Holly P's dancing. It's not that I don't think she's talented, but she's not even in my top 5 of favorite dancers on the team.

I never thought Kelsey was attractive. Same Alyssa. I actually think Ashton is the more attractive sister (and certainly better dancer as well)

Also, I never understood why Holly (blond Holly), was the point girl last season. Her dancing was perfectly fine, but nothing special to me.

ETA: I'm referring to the Kelsey who made it in season 7. I do think current DCC Kelsey is beautiful.

Worst looking: Kali Drake, current DCC Danielle, Rachel LeAnn, Holly Powell

Best looking: Breelan, TCC Taylor Lowery (yelled at by Allie& Cassie), Emily Roslyn, Ashton

Oldest looking face: Lauren Williams

Best dancer: TCC Taylor Nicole from last year... she should have made it 

Most annoying guest cameo: Tina Kalina 

Most waste of screen time on the show: all the talking heads of Kelli... why can't they show clips of dancing while she's talking?  We don't need 30% of the show to be a close up of her face.

I think Ex-DCC Newly engaged Paige is a rather calculating social climber. I don't think that she was released from the squad, then started dating Jeff, moved in with him, and got engaged all in the year 2016. 

In other threads, posters wondered how they met. I wonder WHEN they met. I don't believe for a second they knew each other when they were in high school. They lived in different states. I see Paige likes to state she is from Chicago or rather West Dundee. Oh pleeeeeeeeeeeease!!! It's all one small middle class suburb called Dundee. Close to the city of Elgin (not Chicago) which may sound familiar to anyone who saw the show Rosanne. The show took place there.

I'm glad you brought that up. I know every cheerleading squad associated with a professional sports team has a non-fraternization rule, but I think they're ridiculous. If the members aren't mature enough to make their own decisions about who they should or shouldn't date then they probably can't handle dealing with getting slobbered on by drunk sports fans/sponsors either.

This thread gives me hives so I'mma steer clear except to just say with the Paige situation, didn't she meet him right after she split from her husband rookie year? Someone posted in March last year a site that mentioned she was dating Jeff (back in 2014):

 I also recall hearing that she and Jinelle didn't speak for months after Paige resigned (or was released - i'm sure she expected to be off the time when she admitted to them what was going on) because when she told K&J she was seeing a player and they wanted to know who all knew and she admitted her previous roommates (which would have been Jinelle that rookie year) and they were also called in at one point.  Maybe it was txstar who told me all of that so I guess we can take that with a grain of salt...anyway, I don't think she's necessarily conniving, like she was all hahahaha i'm totally going to secretly date a player but I also don't think she's ever played it off like oh hey, now that i'm retired, look, here's a player I can date/move in with/vacation with/marry within the year.  I didn't realize he was so much younger than her.

Paige just always seemed a bit low-rent to me, from the clothes, hair, makeup ...to the whole marriage thing.  The fact she's so visibly into the Dallas players football 'wives' club says it all to me.  That said, you'd think she could aim higher than an average special teams player/ sometimes back up safety.

I guess this is where things are unclear. When Did Paige separate? We do know that her exhusband was in the military and he was stationed elsewhere while Paige and Jinelle lived together their Rookie year in 2013. Then in TC 2014, Paige is brought in on weight warning but given a pass most likely because she is going through a divorce. So then in Nov. 2014, Jeff and Paige are already in a relationship???  When did it start?  If Jinelle knew than that puts the timeframe in Paige's rookie year 2013-2014. The timing here sure as heck is hella interesting. 

Oh wow, I didn't know that Paige is 5 years older than Jeff. So no way they met in high school. When Paige was a college freshman that would put Jeff in 8th grade.

Bored of seeing the same people over and over again at media interviews etc (Jenna, Jessica, Lacey, Erica, Melissa & Amy T) MIS IT UP!! The squad is made up of 38 pretty girls and showgroup is made up of 16 great dancers.

OMG I so agree ... it's why I am not a fan because I do see it as a scheme (although no doubt she loves him but it seemed too much to be "coincidence" she ended up w/ a Cowboy".  Also what happened to her first husband ... wasn't he in the military?  Guess this is a step up money wise!

I thought it was the fictional town of Lanford,IL.

Although motor seminars are in Elgin and not DeKalb. (If you're a Roseanne fan you know what I mean).

The above info regarding Dundee is not correct. The western suburbs of Chicago include separate small towns called West Dundee and East Dundee; separated by a river and each with its own government. The confusion might be because both are located in Dundee Township; iIRC, students from both towns go to Dundee High School. But there is not a town/suburb of Dundee.

ETA: the Dundee high school merged with another in 1983 and became Dundee-Crown. The two towns are still separate.

Well, I learned something new today.  A friend moved out to Gilberts, IL a few years ago. When we go shopping out there we go to Spring Hill Mall, in what I thought was just a town called Dundee. I swear the the signs only stated Dundee.  Oh well, you are right. I looked it up. Both towns have a combined population at around 10,000.

The name of the town they lived in was Lanford but in one episode Elgin was a town for a motor seminar.

I had hoped that Megan Flaherty would have made it her third year trying.  If she was brought back as some marketing gimmick to boost ratings and they were never going to put her on the squad, then don't bring her into Training Camp.  Same with Amy from Rockford.  As much as she worked her little patootie off to get into Training Camp (and as much as I wanted her to make it at the end, since she changed my mind about her), I just felt that there was no way they were going to let her on the squad.  I felt that each thing they gave her to fix was yet another reason to keep her out of Training Camp and when they had no more reasons to keep her out of Training Camp, they had to come up with some BS reason to keep her off the squad.  I would have liked Amy, Kyndall and Sheridan to be on the squad instead of Yuko, Allie, and either Tasha or Khalyn.

The whole situation with Cassie is complicated.  I felt that she shouldn't have made it either her first or her last year and that, if she'd made another squad and gotten at least one year of experience at another location, then people (including myself) would have given her more credit because then there wouldn't be the whole "only made it because of her mom" thing.  I've heard too many people say that, had she been anyone else, the mistakes she made at her rookie year audition would have kept her from Training Camp and the team and there are other things.  I have to wonder at how many things she actually earned and how many were given to her because of her mom and I hate having to think that.  It rankles and I'm glad that Cassie has made her peace with it.

Since all of my unpopular opinions in my first post were negative, I'll go with a somewhat positive one. I've never thought Cassie being on the team was a big deal. Now don't get me wrong. I'm not a Cassie fan (the Taylor incident really annoyed me), and I thought she was an average dancer at best, but I never got worked up about her making it. I doubt she's the only one who benefited from having connections, and at least with the DCCs, they don't have a set number of girls that they have to take, so I don't see this as a case where another girl lost out just because of her. Also, I was perfectly fine with Cassie making it her 5th year when she was injured, and it doesn't bother me that a girl who was new would not have made it under the same circumstances. It's a slippery slope, but I do think seniority should count for something if you been a good team member in the past. Her injury appeared to be the reason why her tryout was especially poor that year, and I think thats different than a girl coming back out of shape or just having a bad tryout for no apparent reason (ex: Jasmine). I felt the same way about Danielle and was glad that Kelli added her when she had a poor tryout after injuring her foot.
