Oh dear GOD, please let Gabi put Julie in the hospital :):)  Yes, Gabi shot Nick but despite Julie's personal belief that all Hortons are beyond reproach, Nick was not this sweet little angel floating around Salem.  He hurt a lot of people--threatened, blackmailed and he even attempted to rape Gabi.  He was not a saint, Gabi did her time for his murder and Julie needs to stop condemning her. 

Unfortunately, I think it's going to be Julie who physically assaults Gabi because Julie, like all Hortons, think she's above the law and get hit people whenever she likes.

The Chabby wedding was pretty bad. I remember SOD and Days hyping it up as some sort of culmination celebration of one of the best love stories ever told on Days and it was like 7 people at the DiMera mansion. Kate Mansi was very proud to have copied Alison Sweeney & James Scott to have spent hours writing Abby's vows. 

Ugh as Chad chasing after Abby again. I know KC has already spoiled that like Rope, Chabby is the root-for pairing, though for the life of me I don't know why. IMO, neither is remotely interesting and both stories have been contrived and ridiculously rewritten to hammer home that they're meant to be... whether well-received or not.

I wouldn't be surprised. She is so manipulative and self absorbed. She only wants Theo because she is jealous of Ciara and poor Theo cannot see her for the nauseating person that she truly is. Throwing Wyatt on Ciara would help ensure her keeping Theo. I wouldn't be surprised if she either forgot her birth control pills or poked a hole in a condom to potentially get pregnant. Then again, a pregnancy would interrupt her beloved singing career....so scratch that.

I like VI a lot but none of the many, many writers on DOOL ever knew what to do with his character.   A good murder mystery might just be what this show needs.  Of course good is the operative word.  I've not even bothered to try to unravel the Stefano-is-actually-alive mess.  It's just not worth it. 

I stopped watching DOOL and all soaps a while ago. But I just checked in on it today and have been trying to see just what has changed...or not. Reading Kitty's comments here about VI (sorry I missed him.)   and the writers not knowing what to do with him, I thought that perhaps if the writers really mapped out their storylines and drew complex characters with reality based depth then they would be able to cast the proper actors and not just physical types that will fit the age range of the players. People like A Martinez and VI should be able to sink their teeth into real characters.

It got me thinking about when they brought back Crystal Chappelle as Carly a few years ago. At that point they had CC, Louise Sorrell, Lauren Koslow, John Aniston and Ari Zucker on the show and they could have had some real great fun scenes with all of them interacting. Instead it just turned into Carly as a victim and just a whole lot of nothing much else. 

So glad I don't really have a stake in this show anymore. I like to turn it on whenever I get to be home from work just to see what has changed.

Dena needed someone to come in between Ciara and Theo, so suddenly Claire was a bitch.  That's all I see anyway.

I root for Claire because besides the annoying voice and the fact that she looks 12, she's 10 times better as an actress than that plank Ciara.

Shouldn't they be keeping a LOW profile and wearing disguises if and when they go out?? Everyone seems to know they're fugitives in Canada...the RCMP would be cooperating with the US in a search.

When a kid's life is at stake - and who is to say Nicole, as far as they know, wouldn't kill the kid? - they pull out all the stops.

There would be no dinners with neighbors and "building a life" in this situation. And Brady is a well-known businessman from years of working at Titan.

This is all so contrived.

Edit: Apparently they will be filming an Eric lookalike in the first shooting day following Nicole's departure...

A new casting call has went out for an Eric Look-Alike to tape on Friday, April 28 ... Ari Zucker's contract ends April 27, so this would be the first tape day after that.

Carolyn Topol did an interview with Scott Shillstone, who plays Wyatt.  He implies that he's no longer on the show, so I guess his storyline will end.  Which makes sense, since Vivian Jovanni isn't there any more.  But he does say that he isn't as evil as people think he is.
