Catelynn bought the horse. Ugh. She can't take care of Nova or a dog or the pig - but somehow she's going to manage a horse?

Security needed to be present for when Amber got the lie detector results.

There's my Amber!  I knew ole girl was in there somewhere.  I'm not saying I'm a fan of physical violence...but I would walk over very slowly to pull her off of Matt if she

went upside his head.

I'd help her beat his ass.

When Cate said that she wanted to come three days a week to work with the horses, I thought it was good for her that she wasn't purchasing one, then saw the description on the side that said she purchased the horse, and decided that their new "passion project"{gag} was probably going to be a animal rescue show, and their animals would be the first episode, when the local Humane Society removed them from their home for gross incompetence. I cannot state firmly enough how much I think these people should not have animals. We've already seen Tyler abuse the dog.

On Amber, the fact that they knew they needed security for her confirms my belief that she remains an abusive piece of shit. Even though Matt may be physically abusive, too, none of his prior victims have ever claimed anything other than him being a manipulator and a cheater. There is the allegation of sexual assault (I don't remember the specific claim) but that victim committed suicide before he was charged and therefore there is no conviction, and most recently Tiffany made claims that could be construed as sexual assault, but she is saying it wasn't, so I don't know that I should say it is. It is completely believable to me that he would push sexual boundaries or go further than he has permission, because he is sleazy. Amber, on the other hand, complete abuser; no doubt in my mind and no problem calling her one.

Matt probably convinced himself that he wasn't sexually involved or sexting other women before he took the polygraph, which are complete bull and have been proven to be too many times in the past for me to ignore. So, him passing isn't a surprise. He may not have had actually sexual relations with a woman other than Tiffany, because he oozes sleaze from his pores and most women probably run away. Tiffany thought he was going to invest in her business.

The failure on the polygraph as it applies to Tiffany confirms the texts from Shawn that were disclosed by Enty and said that Matt passed everything except as it pertained to Tiffany, and should tip off Amber that the other texts are legitimate, too, but she isn't very bright and is easily manipulated by Matt.

Farrah also has a scene in this episode where she and David argue over respect. Hopefully it will be a good episode.

That lie detector clip gave me chills. That was old school Amber. She was slowly calming off of her anticipation to beat some ass when the gentleman was saying Matt passed but as soon as he said he failed the Tiffany question she took off like a panther the way she did with poor Gary.

I don't condone violence and my heart melted for Gary (even though Gary was a total instigator back in the day) but knowing that the raging panther in a onesie was heading straight to Matt, a man that had forced himself on innocent women and abandoned his plethora of children, I for the first time, was excited to see the ass whooping. I WILL be watching this episode and I HOPE we get to see him cry.

One question: It was said that Matt had no sexual relations with anyone but Amber since October 10th 2014 (when they met) but Matt admitted to cheating on her the first year they were together...hmm.

Also, is it possible for Matt to train himself to believe he didn't sext other women or have relations for the polygraph to THINK he was telling the truth?

So in the court of Amber, polygraphs are admissible,  lol. I'm just waiting to see what MTV actually shows us. Just the fact she had him take one is ridiculous,  imo. The fact he took it is amazing, even the police can't make you take one. I want to know if he was tested for drugs prior to the test.   That would be a test I would say she should have had him take.

Season finale is Monday, 90 minutes worth.

ETA I haven't seen any clips yet.

I think it is easier to pass for pathological liars. They are able to convince themselves that they did nothing wrong. It is a known fact that sociopaths can pass lie detectors easily. I had to take one for a job once, and my electrical system is shot from my multiple sclerosis and they couldn't get a baseline reading to get a starting point, so the person giving it asked me some questions and decided I was an honest person. Now, I told the truth, wasn't deceptive, and do consider myself a good person, but that was every bit as much bull as the polygraphs. He clearly deals with liars on a regular basis, and likely has some ability to tell if someone is lying, but one of the questions he asked had me confused, and I don't think I came across as honest with my answer. They tell you what they are going to ask before hooking you up, so there is no confusion when the polygraph starts, but he asked something different when he couldn't get a reading and threw me.

Polygraphs are stupid and personally, I give no weight to them.

He was probably convinced he wouldn't have any problem passing, and if he failed, he wouldn't have any problem convincing Amber that the test was faulty. If you follow any of the social media threads, he later purchased a "result" that showed he passed, and Amber believed it and insisted to Tiffany that he passed. Amber posted it on her Twitter as a f* you to the "hatters," only to have people google the company and find out it sells fake results. Whether or not Amber knew when she posted it was a hotly debated topic for a few days, but like everything else she does, became boring quickly and was dropped. She is a perfect example of that saying, "wait a day and something or someone else will become tabloid fodder."

Take polygraphs with a grain of salt. I do not really believe in those machines especially after having to take one myself for a job offer with our police department.

People can believe what they want and pass those tests. Ted Bundy passed one. We had a murder in our area 20 years ago. A suspect took a lie dector test and passed. He was allowed to roam our streets for ten years before he was charged and convicted.

I think in Matt's case, if he believes his own lies, he does not feel he is guilty of cheating. He has no conscience.

As for Gary, nothing he ever did justified Amber beating on him. Nothing. Having a smart mouth, being sarcastic, being snippy towards that hosebeast, none of that would ever justify any person to beat another.

What is the significance of October 10th? I thought their anniversary was the 13th?

October 10th was when they first met but the wedding venue they booked only had the 13th available.

Ah thank you.

I thought I remembered a previous admission from both Amber and Matt that he cheated. That's when she "upgraded" that hideous ring, I thought. Am I wrong about this too?

I felt the same way, but the scene that made me change my mind was when Amber was hitting/slapping at Gary as he was gathering his belongings and moving out. It was when Gary was at the top of a flight of stairs in their apartment building and had just picked up a large heavy box when Amber ran up behind him and kicked him hard in the back. Some guardian angel was watching over him, along with his size and the fact that Amber was thin at the time...that is all that kept Gary from tumbling down those stairs and breaking his back, his neck or ending up in a wheelchair and Amber would have been in jail a Hell of a lot longer.  But as long as he is not standing on stairs I would love to see that kick launched in Matt's direction.

I call bullshit on this, too. The venue was booked on a Tuesday? Sure, Jan.

I actually wished Matt was thrown down a flight of stairs. Or two flights. I am going to hell and do not care. Make it five flights of stairs. That is the least he deserves for abandoning his kids. As for the rape? He needs to be thrown off a tall building.

Now see?  I agree that he can fall down stairs or off a tall building.  I just don't want to see Amber kick him to this destiny.  He should just trip on his own lies, deceit, and criminal behavior.  Serves him right, I say.

I thought Catelynn participated in equine therapy once upon a time. Why does she need to be taught how to groom a horse then?

No. She rode a horse in Hawaii. That was the extent of her experience.

If she had any other experience, she likely forgot what she was taught. Weed haze and beer buzz can do that.

Imagine the uproar if Janelle, Kail, or Leah pulled what Mackenzie is doing with Ryan.

She should lose custody of her kid based on this stupidity alone

And maci clearly needs some sort of emergency hearing to get Ryan's visitation suspended for the time being

How ridiculous is this polygraph stuff? Amber is in a relationship with someone that she can't trust and requires this. It should be the end of the discussion. If you can't take someone at his word, adios. Look at your life, look at your choices.

I missed the first thirty minutes. Did Maci file a custody dispute? I know that the child support order for Mackenzie's son changed. She said something to the dress shop about the custody issue.

Commercial for Teen Mum and I will not be able to keep myself from watching. This show is like crack.

"You know what? I really love The Good Book." lmao. Farrah is hilarious at times.

What happened to Debra? The woman who appeared on 16&P and early seasons of Teen Mom was not like this. She's almost an entirely different person.
