Today's Hot Topics are about Wendy's Lifetime movie coming up this month. It's called "Wendy Williams What a Mess". 

This makes sense to me because she can do a sequel called "Wendy Williams STILL a Mess". She might have one brain cell remaining.

And I definitely believe that WW would take Kelvin back if ONLY for the reason to spite Sharina. 

So Wendy thinks an escort is a whore. Well Wendy, your ex husband was a whore.

And why is she going after women who do things they would not normally do except for their unfortunate circumstances? Wendy does NOT support women of any color, economic circumstance. Wendy just shits out words like she has diarrhea of the mouth.

Today she showed a preview of her documentary. She was laying on her couch withher legs in their lymph machine. 
so sexy for any potential daters to see...not. She also said that today was Sharina’s baby’s birthday. She said a very sarcastic hello to Sharina and the baby and then a very sweet (probably her version of sexy) hello to Kelvin.

Her show is still on my dvr, haven't watched in many months. Description says Leah Remini is the guest. Did anyone watch? I like Leah, watching Wendy is sad, and should delete. Not sure what I am waiting for as its pretty obvious Wendy's show will notbe improving. Appears the show is now her real life.

The documentary is actually the one called "What a Mess!" but your suggestion for a follow-up still works.  The movie has the very creative title "Wendy Williams: The Movie."  With that much effort put into a title, I'm sure the script and direction are just top-notch!  I saw a sneak peek of a scene or two on Lifetime the other day, probably the same scenes that have been shown everywhere else.  Wendy woke up with the baby near her bed and caught Kelvin talking on the phone to the woman he was cheating with that time, and she yelled at him and cried.  Then she got photos of a woman and a car and threw them at Kelvin and started yelling and crying.  There was also a sneak peek of the documentary and Wendy was swearing a lot and crying, before saying she didn't want sympathy.  They had clips of a bunch of other people talking about Wendy, and Suzanne was on.  She said something like, "She usually reports on people in Hot Topics, but now she was the hot topic."

Entertainment Tonight was another of the shows Wendy was on to promote the movie and documentary, and they teased it with, "Is she ending her talk show?"  All she said was that it would end eventually, and then she repeated that she wants to teach a communications class at a college.  I would feel sorry for anyone who would have to take anything from her, especially if it were a required course.  She usually can't even get her point across correctly with accurate information now in Hot Topics, and she expects people to learn from her?  She'd probably just tell a bunch of rambling stories about herself and then (hopefully for the students' sake) make a teaching assistant grade all the assignments.  Wendy would also probably berate the students (like she has staff and "co-hosts") anytime she had a bad day.  Even the most horrible professor I had (whose class I dropped just before the deadline) was probably better, though not by much in his case.

I tuned in for a few minutes today. Wendy was dressed up like a piñata. She mentioned later that they dress had sat in her closet for a year. It should have stayed in the closet. 
 

At one point she called out one of her audience/staff members for not clapping. Must be part of their job description. 
 

Wendy was chatting about Vicki Gunvalsen from RHOC and how her being on reality tv is probably what ruined her first marriage to Don. The story came from the Behind the Velvet Rope podcast. Then WW said that Vicki should get her spot back on the show 🙀. That tied in with a short discussion on Rinna (who’s daughter Amelia should not be dating Scott Disick) and how Rinna refused to talk to Vicki at an event. Yada Yada...why are they airing these old stories? 💡 Wendy is going on WWHL tonight to promote her movie. Suck up. 

(They did show a clip of Rinna dancing on a table at Andy Cohen’s baby shower...again old news. The event was January 2019)

My !!HYPOCRITE!! siren went off long and loud during HT today.   Recently, actress Elizabeth Hurley posted some rather racy photos of herself posing semi-topless in a bikini and British newsman Piers Morgan went on a tirade because he thought Liz's son took the pictures and that was nasty.  So Wendy pipes up gives Piers shade for this, because it came out that it was Liz's mother who snapped these pictures.  No more than 5 minutes later Wendy is throwing hints that 2 black men are on the downlow. 

She did a story about gospel singer Kirk Franklin posting that he's celebrating his 25th wedding anniversary with his lovely wife, who has held him down and kept him doing good.  Actor Tyrese Gibson goes on his social media and uses Kirk's story to bash his soon to be ex-wife for bringing divorce proceedings against him - Tyrese says Kirk's marriage is great and what he and his wife should have tried to imitate.  Then with side eyes, pointed looks at Norman and suppressed laughs, Wendy basically said that both of these men are hiding their true natures behind fake marriages and that Tyrese picked the wrong marriage to use as an example of success.   And she had the nerve to say Piers should keep his mouth shut!

I set my DVR to record the movie and the documentary - I won't be watching it live.  I will be veeerry surprised if this ends up being decent, after the preview clips I've already seen.  I will FF through it and stop when/if I see something interesting, for cringe and laughs. 

What I want to see are the reviews from social media, from the casual viewer and the troll sites.   I'm sure they will be hilarious.  I'm sure that the average Joe will not be nice like that TV show presenter Chris Witherspoon who was on last week doing a TV segment.  He has always sucked up to Wendy but he went overboard, saying he'd seen the movie already and it was great.   Ok, Chris.

I watched it! What a trainwreck. She was all over the place. She still takes up for Kelvin. She pretty much blamed the side piece for the affair saying that she wanted fame and fortune and chased Kelvin. Andy was throwing shade saying he and Wendy were in talks about putting something together that would have been a big money maker and Kelvin said no and ruined the entire idea. Ok. I’m into the Wendy Mess and one thing I noticed is that stories don’t always match up. In her biopic you see Wendy and Kevin at a club. Kevin has a friend take his phone number (written on a matchbook) over to Wendy. On the second show Wendy states that they met at a kiddie skating rink where she got his number from a friend. It’s still on. I’ll post more tomorrow.

Nope. Not during COVID, No food samples anywhere. Costco hasn't been giving samples either since last March. 

Home Depot does have a Pro day and provide lunch (hot dogs and other goodies). The vendors bring in swag. I haven't seen any invitations for Pro Day in awhile. 

Does Wendy bring her bottle of hot sauce to the Home Depot? 

It is tragic that Wendy and her brother are fighting about their mother's funeral. That is no way to honor their mother. Very sad.

Me too.  Even tho I haven’t watched the show lately, I watched tonight.  I’m still processing the whole movie.  The second part where she is talking is just a repeat of the movie but to more extent.  She’s very driven all these years.  I think she’s crying about her life and how things went down south.  The cheating killed her ( I don’t blame her).  The girlfriend, the house he bought for Sharina, the baby girl born killed her.  She’s crying for what could have been if Kevin was still her husband and they were a family.  She’s lonely.

She said she was waiting for little Kev to get out of High School.  She didn’t want to disrupt the house and him.   Btw .. while she was talking and crying telling her story, where were the cats?  Pets soothe you when you are upset.  There’s pets all over the place when you’re watching a show .. everywhere.  Where are hers? Also, while I’m at it, why did she portray the parents as being mean when she was young.  Tuna and mustard everyday?  At that age, some girls are chubby, but slim up after a few years.  The parents were sort of mean to her.

In her second show she stated that indeed he broke the glass causing her to have to replace a panel. As I stated before, the movie watered down so much and didn’t stick closely to the facts. I wonder that they weren’t afraid of Big Kevin filing a lawsuit. 
 

In her What a Mess interview she told the story of her being naive and stupid resulting in a rape by a R&B musician. She was willing to name him, but if she did I didn’t catch it said. Again, I bet the producers were trying to avoid a legal action. She did drop a clue. That basically he was a one and done. I wish I had caught the year. I’d have investigated further.

 Yeah, I mean, no childhood is perfect. And she may not be telling the whole story here...we don't know that the parents made her eat tuna and mustard for lunch. They may have said, "Bring something healthy for lunch. The school lunch is fattening," and she may have looked up some diet or another and brought that food. 

  OK, so the Dad said, "You have such a pretty face....if you'd just lose weight"....In today's world, parents know better than to say something like that, but come on. THAT is the reason she's a narcissistic beyotch? Doesn't ring true to me.

   I did feel somewhat badly for her when she cried, but had to laugh when she referred to the "HORRIBLE...HORRIBLE!!" paparazzi and tabloids for reporting on her marital woes. Honey, you have made your extravagant living gossiping about other celebs.  Textbook narcissism, being able to dish it out but not being able to tolerate ANY criticism or negative press about yourself.

Y'all, she doesn't name the one-hit wonder R&B singer she alleges raped her in the "What A Mess" doc, but I am watching/listening to an interview right now that she did w/Sway, and she names him: It's Sherrick (now deceased)---the hit I remember, and love, is "Just Call". OMG! I am always complaining that this song isn't on Spotify or Apple Music b/c I love it (and used to have the 45), but wow, knowing this really messes that up.

  

Hey, I wonder if Wendy has enough influence and $$$ that she paid Spotify, Apple Music etc. NOT to carry this song?

I just posted about this b/c I was just watching an interview she did w/Sway about the "What A Mess" doc and Lifetime movie. The singer (now deceased; he OD'd) was Sherrick. Remember "Just Call"?

What are they fighting about ?  I haven’t watched the show since she filmed from her apt.  Is her show live again?  I can’t keep track, as it’s always different.  The last I saw was she was back on the dating market.  Ugh.

I think it had something to do about the fact that it was open casket. It took so long to even get the viewing (the mass Covid deaths has greatly impacted the funeral/mortuary business) that she might not have looked as good as she would have if it had happened within the usual 3 days of death. Knowing what actually took place will probably never happen. I just find it sad that a brother and sister, who were once very close, have let anything come between them.

I think it had something to do about the fact that it was open casket. It took so long to even get the viewing (the mass Covid deaths has greatly impacted the funeral/mortuary business) that she might not have looked as good as she would have if it had happened within the usual 3 days of death. Knowing what actually took place will probably never happen. I just find it sad that a brother and sister, who were once very close, have let anything come between them. 

Oh, it’s very common.  Siblings that don’t talk.  Especially when the parents die.

Hi @Silver Bells.  Wendy has been back with new shows for about a month and she has decided that she's ready to get a boyfriend/husband.   Last week, she started a "Dating Game" for herself, asking that men who are interested to send in 30 second videos with facts about themselves.  She gave her requirements - age appropriate, able to support himself, etc.   She has had 2 responses so far and played their videos on the show, and went out on a date with one so far.    She rejected that one, saying he was nice but they didn't "click".   I'm curious to see how long this 'game' goes on before the caliber of candidates drops off or she gives up.

 Right? I'm not saying she hasn't gone through some stuff w/her marriage, etc., but trying to paint the parents as the reason for all her issues...nah. Just nah.

  I was just texting a friend about Wendy and we agreed that her face is approaching Michael Jackson-level bizarre. So on that level, I feel for her...you really have to hate yourself/have some severe body dysmorphia to do that to your face.

Hi, thanks so much.  I definitely will watch now that she wants to date.  Sounds very interesting.  I wonder if she still likes thugs.  I still can’t believe these accomplished women like Wendy and some housewives can’t find a man in N.Y. City of all places.  Unbelievable.  Also surprised she didn’t ask Patti Stanger to fix her up.  Thanks for the info.  I’m gonna watch now. 😀

When my Mother died, my niece from Florida took the medal off my mothers body in the funeral parlor.  A gold medal and chain that I bought in the Diamond Center in N.Y.City. for my mother.  I told her it was mine to keep.  She was so mad, she threw water on me in the hallway of the funeral parlor.  My Son threw her down the stairs.  What a commotion.  In the next room, a family was screaming about a ring on the deceased.  Shit happens when there is a death.  Then, siblings don’t talk.  It’s a shame.
