She needs to learn...

ANY pet is a part of the family.

I'm wondering if there is something seriously wrong with Tori psychologically. She just doesn't behave anywhere close to a decent human being. She acts like a little girl living in the mind of a little girl. Believing there is a fairytale  ending to everything. She seems to be even worse than Zach. Zach is IMO spoiled and entitled and that attitude is explainable.  Not acceptable but explainable.

ToriI seems like she has real psychological problems. I'm  not a mental health professional. Just IMO.

I am still hoping Lila (Lyla?) grows up to be a strong minded woman. An advocate for little people and love towards all people and nature. However  she does have the handicap of her parents being Zach and Tori. I believe she will aspire to greater things than reality tv.

I've never owned a dog but is there a reason that Tori or her man couldn't have gone outside with a hose and warm water and a few clean rags and towels and cleaned him up?

That would involve common sense and doing what normal people do.

Of course that would be the right, humane thing to do. But we are not dealing with people who have common sense or compassion.

That would take some effort. Something it appears neither one is capable of generating.

I am an animal lover. As in, I have to change the channel or mute and look away when an ASPCA commercial comes on or I risk life-long trauma.

Tying dogs to trees is not, in any way, shape or form, ok. Dog got into something he shouldn’t? Give him a bath, you moron! Pet ownership sometimes involves doing unpleasant tasks. We had an elderly dog with dementia who had regular accidents. Know what we did? We cleaned them and him up without a complaint because we loved him and as long as he seemed happy and free of pain, we were going to help him live his best life. Another dog had to have her back leg amputated due to cancer. We put non-slip pads down all over our downstairs to make it easier for her to get around — not aesthetically pleasing and they trap dust, but if it helps her…

You do these things for living creatures. You help and care for them and, in return, they give pure, unconditional love. Tori is missing some key pieces of her circuitry if you ask me.

ALL. OF. THIS. Tori and Zach are assholes for treating Murphy this way. I guarantee you he had no idea why he was being punished, poor baby. Dogs will occasionally roll in stinky stuff, Tori. He is not doing it to piss you off. You have managed to live with Zach all these years, I think you could handle cleaning the stink off Murphy.

This was in my newsfeed this morning:

https://www.the-sun.com/entertainment/9573806/little-people-fans-fear-for-tori-roloff-son-legs/

I only rarely click on Roloff articles in the feed so my mind immediately thought it was something from here.  When I accidentally closed it, it took me a bit to realize it was from the feed.

The kids are cute and Tori seems more involved with them than she had been while pregnant.

I seem to recall that when Jackson had his "surgery" a year or so ago and it was obvious that no improvement had been achieved (some may say his condition worsened) they stated it would be YEARS until any improvement might be achieved.  They emphasized that Jackson would have to grow taller to have his leg bones straighten.

As for Lilah, Tori insists on residing in a state of "denial and delusion" regarding her speech.  On her Instagram acct she's constantly highlighting the kids in various videos.  When Lilah is involved she converses with her in a normal manner.  Lilah responds with some "sounds" or "gibberish" but NOTHING resembling "normal" speech.  I thought Lilah being in school full days would involve "speech therapy" but if she is getting professional help it's not apparent.  I might add that when Jackson speaks I hear more defined words, but STILL don't understand what he's saying.

Tori is also in a state of "delusion and denial" regarding Jackson's legs.  I remember it was during Covid when only one parent could go (or course it had to be Tori even though Zach has HAD the surgery himself), and she was obviously twisting the truth about the superiority of this minor procedure.  Yes, it was "less invasive," but also less effective -- there was a chance it wouldn't work at all.  And how quickly are his legs going to grow anyway?  Not very!  But Tori is a big baby who can't handle hard things, so her children suffer.

I also recall her complaining about how Josiah never slept more than 20 minutes at a time; of course, it was all about Tori suffering sleep deprivation.  Um, his tongue is HUGE and protrudes from his mouth; is it possible he can't breathe well when he tries to sleep?  As a parent, I believe I'd be looking into that issue (along with Jackson's legs and Lilah's eyes and speech delay), but Tori is all about Tori.

To say nothing of poor Murphy...

If there isn't something actually wrong with that woman, she's at the very least extremely emotionally stunted/immature.  She makes Zach look like the adult in the room!

There was an article about Josiah which included this:

Dr. John Pappas, director of clinical genetic services at NYU Langone’s Hassenfeld Children’s Hospital, said, "It’s not that the babies have larger tongues, it’s the way that the face is developing. The middle of the face is underdeveloped and the tongue appears to be larger," Pappas told TODAY Parents. "As they grow, the face develops and will accommodate the tongue. This typically happens at around 2 or 3 years old.”.

Right; I understand that.  The fact remains that his tongue is disproportionately large for his face NOW and may be impeding his breathing, thus waking him up and keeping him from getting deep sleep.  I don't know if they see any dwarf specialists, like the Little Couple did with their kids, or just regular pediatricians who may not be familiar with these problems or how to deal with them.

Instead of paying for the expense of visiting Disneyworld

I think that MOST if not ALL of that trip was "comped" to her because she is a social media "influencer" (I believe she has millions of Instagram followers) and heavily advertised where she was staying and the things in the Park they were doing.

As far as them spending the $$$ they need to improve the physical health of their children, that seems to be quite another matter entirely.

I've asked several times if anyone knows if they are currently filming the show but never received any feedback.  I asked because that would have been another channel of payment for their activities.  It would also clarify whether they are at the same level of financial "health" as they were for all the years they were receiving TLC $$$.

I've been an owner and trainer of dogs for over half a century. I don't see that Tori did anything wrong with tying the dog out for a while. He certainly wasn't abused. Just smelly.

Okay, let the beatings commence........

No beating, just a gentle reminder that the story wasn't that Tori merely left Murphy tied outside for a while ...

What apparently happened is Tori found Murphy covered in chicken shit, tied him to a tree off in the distance with no food or water available, intending to leave him there overnight in hopes that the groomer would be able to fit him in the next day.

Why could she not do something to clean Murphy up herself so that the poor baby would not have to sit outside all alone in the damp, chilly yard all night?  Maybe he is too big to fit in the tub and get a real bath but she was obviously able to do SOMETHING because she did end up bringing him inside (but only after people tore into her, tellingly).  Why was that not her first response?  If she could manage it later why didn't she just do that instead of tying Murphy up outside alone and unsheltered in the wet chilly weather while still covered in filth?  She had time to take a picture and post it with one of her tone-deaf comments that she thinks people will find cute (which they rarely do).  She clearly had the time and the means to do something for Murphy, but simple chose not to do it until shamed into it.

What REALLY bothers me is that she was going to leave Murphy out there overnight, helplessly tied to a tree, in an area known to have coyotes roaming!  He was completely defenseless - not even able to run away should he be attacked.

Sorry, but I think Tori Roloff is a lazy, dumb twunt who isn't fit to take care of a dog.  And right now I'm not sure she (or Zach) are fit parents for their medically needy children, either!

I pity the four creatures who have to depend on them for their survival ...

Matt shared that Season 25 will document Zach's ongoing recovery and other "health issues that come with dwarfism."

So what I'm understanding is that they shot the full season (as i recall last year was a very abbreviated "season"), BUT they don't know if it will be aired or when it will be aired?  I'm going to speculate that TLC wouldn't have gone to the expense of shooting all those episodes without airing them as that would be ridiculous.  I mean, it's season 25 so it's not like the show is an unknown quantity.

As for mention of Zach's health conditions having to do with his dwarfism, that would lead me to believe that ZiT are still active participants in the show.

Also, Tori had numerous Instagram posts last week about Zach competing in a soccer tournament in Argentina.  His team lost; however, his participation would indicate that he is capable of a highly physical type of activity so that's a good thing.  Of course, that event took place after the season wrapped in August so there's that....

So much of post production depends on how many bodies they're willing to assign - how much the network/production company is willing to spend.  With TLC it's apparently not much.

Understood but wouldn't TLC want to justify their pre-production and production costs by bringing more episodes to advertisers for their participation??

Not sure where the show stands in the ratings?  Have their # of viewers stayed about the same over the years?  Grown?  Decreased?

Some TLC decisions do not appear logical on the surface.  I do think post got slower during the pandemic though.

Why would TLC go through the expense of filming a season of the show if they're unsure whether to renew it?  It simply doesn't make any sense to me.

UP ditched a filmed and edited seaon of Bates for a so far not disclosed reason.  What I've read, TLC finished filming the most recent season of Little People this fall and is planning to air it, but haven't schedule it yet.

TLC drags out announcing the date for new seasons every time. They do it with other shows too. It gets people talking, and also lends itself to articles being written saying the show may be canceled. Then, what do you know, a date is announced, surprise!!

TRUE!  My 600 lb Life comes to mind.  We never know in advance if there's a new season or not!  With that show, the past 2 seasons were extremely disappointing (with very few success stories) so if TLC is cancelling it, few would really care; however, with the Roloff's I thought that the content of each season was OK and there was still some interest in seeing it.  However, it, too, seems to be waning in audience interest as the years go on,.

If LPBW goes on past the upcoming season almost ready, we'll allegedly be down to the two 60ish aged couples.  I can't see beyond one season of that if TLC bothers to even make a season of it.

Agreed but still wondering how ZiT will make a living without the show.  Tori has a massive Instagram following with dozens upon dozens of "sponsors" that she shills merchandise/services for daily.

HOWEVER, she's only a "celebrity influencer" because of the show, unless I'm wrong...also, I'm not sure she gets cash from these "partners"...she may be getting mostly free stuff (like trips and other items).

Zach is unemployable and Tori is raising 3 special needs children who certainly couldn't tackle full-time employment.  So, there's that....

I'm guessing Tori and Zach are there or almost there on the ending of show income so I guess we'll soon see if one of them takes paying work.  Teaching soccer or kindergarten isn't going to maintain their recent standard of living with three children.  Is it possible they've saved a lot more money than the viewers have guessed?

Well, the truth is that Zach has had steady, reliable and continuing income from the show for over 20 years, so on that basis alone it's possible that he had/has a financial plan that would allow them to live off the income of that principal for the rest of their lives...I say "possible".

We don't know their position regarding their house (mortgage) but I believe that with the improvements they've made it must be valued at over $1million.  So there's that...perhaps Tori could monetize her social medial platforms to the point where you would have to subscribe to see her posts.  I see that a LOT of people are doing that on "X" (twitter) and on You Tube.  She could become a spokesperson for some of the products she hawks.

The more I'm writing this post the more I see that it would be possible for them to survive financially without getting "jobs" and without the show.

The kids weren't initially paid for being on the show and I'm not sure at what age they began receiving show money.  It's appeared to be some time before they married so possibly early 20s or maybe they were smarter than the average reality kids and asked for payment at age 18.  Zach has been accused of being tight with money so he may well have saved/invested quite a bit.  They think they can make it without the show so hopefully they have run the numbers realistically.

I’m also wondering how ZiT will be able to live without the show money.

Jer and Auj have done ok because Auj is a top seller with a ton of people under her in her pyramid sales of Young Living but I don’t think Tori has any MLM’s that she promotes.

will be interesting to see what happens and if ZiT has to tighten their belt and limit themselves to one Disneyland trip per year instead of 10.

Ditto.....also,

1) If these animals are "actors" and these scenerios are a set-up...then

there should be a disclaimer: These animals are (a)actors or (b)victims set free after filming...

2) And, if the victim(s) scenerio is true and the photographers left them in that condition and do not tell us that all the animals are okay; then the ASPCA is dead to me.

I follow Tori on Instagram.  She posts each and every day.  In most of the videos If it weren't for the fact that we KNOW that her children are dwarfs and Jackson's leg deformities, she portrays their lives EXACTLY as she would if they were "normal sized." That would include Lilah's speech delays that Tori seems completely oblivious about trying to recognize and/or correct.

Her commentary, the various activities they engage in (like yesterday it was Lilah WALKING ACROSS a thin wooden plank atop their running stream from one side to another).  I admit that I had 'My heart in my mouth" at the sight but Lilah was sure-footed and made the walk easily. Even baby SiSi was joining in on the fun.

The children (and Tori) are ALWAYS wearing beautiful, new clothing (including shoes) from vendors that Tori sponsors (so I assume they are all comped).  That would include interior design sponsors, menu supply sponsors and toy sponsors.

The house seems clean and organized and the number of "sponsors" that Tori has signed up seems to be increasing by the day.

In short, even though there may be health problems with more down the road, from the vantage point of how well the family is functioning at this point seems quite good and they seem happy and mostly unimpeded by their dwarfism.

That is the ideal, perfect scenario especially for the kids. So i hope it continues for the kids.

However, TLC and SM don't last forever (or even half of forever) Hopefully, Tori is investing a lot of her money in the future of these 3 kids. They deserve it.
