That scene when he was telling Lorelai he had to leave when you know he really didn't want to was so heartbreaking. I'm glad we got to see more of their friendship in the revival especially with Sookie not there. I think the small, intimate wedding was the one thing they actually got right by having that change in plans. It could have been beautifully done.
