Season 18 Live Feed Discussion: Their Lives are Almost as Boring as Ours!

If somebody takes this "bribe", are they under any obligation to follow with what the briber wants?  Bribe HOH on noms or somebody else for a vote.  Can the bribee change his/her mind?

I assume there will be some clarification.  The whole concept seems kind of murky and silly to me.

Michele is going to tell Victor everything they talk about, I am sure of it.  Now will Victor tell Paul?  She will claim that Nat wanted to put him up but she talked her out of it.  What do you bet?

Odds-on. Michelle is incapable of stopping her mouth from running to the wrong people.

I think Natalie has forgotten that she was assigned to watch Michele and her mouth.  Maybe James will remind her.

I wanted Paul out as well, but not while Nicole and Corey are still a strong voting pair.

I owe Nicole an apology though.  I thought she was just enjoying her showmance and riding his coattails to the end, with only the hope of maybe winning AFP, but a better chance at a new boyfriend.   But now it's looking like she has at least as good a chance of making it to F2 as anyone, and better than many.

But I still don't like her.

I've got a one track mind and want to see Nicole and Corey out next.  That was a good plan.  After that I'd be okey dokey with any of the rest of the five winning.  I don't like that Nicole assumes everyone loves Corey as much as she does...it seems obvious to her that he is factually the best guy in the world and for that he SHOULD be safe.  And I don't want Corey to continue because he sided with Paulie when Paulie was acting like a jerk, and he's mean to animals...I think there should be some consequence for that.  In my world that means...no soup for you!!!!! :)

Paul and Corey up.  Corey is fine with that because Paul is the target.  I guess he is not thinking about veto.  Doesn't matter, he has no choice.

Nicole to Corey- I want to pick a name for us four (Corey/Nicole/James/Natalie). I really want a name

I've got one for you - Fuck you, Nicole!

Nicole to Corey- If I make Final 4, I am going to beast those comps. I'm going to choose who I take Final 2. Better hope I choose you

From an email interview Paulie gave today:

"At the time, I didn't understand how deeply she [Natalie] had her hooks into James..."

Glad to see there's no bitterness there Paulie, you bloated fuckwad.

Paul was right when he called you a cockhole...

Fuck you, Nicole!  Oh how I've missed that the last couple of days...

I am fine with Corey, Victor or Paul going because I just want someone who could be equally competitive at the Jury Comp as Paulie.  Him and those 3 (esp. Corey & Vic) have similar skill sets. That's really all I care for in the next 7 days, that Paulie does NOT return.

Well, I hope this finally puts to rest that AG fixes the game. You people should be ashamed of yourselves. LOL!!! I was one of the guilty people, too. I thought for sure that Frank, Day or Paulie had it. It was a shoe-in, right? LOL!!!

It will once we see the JBB winner walking back in the House - and Paulie's tears as he watches from behind....

Oh sure, everyone needs some luck to go their way. And I don't begrudge Michelle's hers at all. I just think that in this particular instance, it was luck that got her from being dead woman walking to being in her current, better, situation. I'll gladly give her credit overall for her game play otherwise, as I think she did a great job flipping to house to evict Bronte and I think she did a fine job flipping the house again along with Natalie and Bridgette. The latter time was more impressive, as she was on the block at the time and thus doing so saved her from eviction. So I'm totally down with Michelle's game play overall - I just think that in that one specific situation, she was saved by pure luck.

That, and the fact that every time Michelle has been OTB she's been perceived as the weaker threat of the two.

Yeah, I get your point, but I just hate to see that pair of self-absorbed vacuous motherfuckers (sorry, motherFREAKERS) feel like they have any more power in this game. I just want to see them squirm some more, to be honest.

She makes a good goat.

Nicole?  So far as goats go, she's an award-winning Boer.  ;)

Having Nicole sitting next to you in a F2 chair would be a wet dream come true - one HoH she got solely because (a) her team was the worst and (b) nobody else wanted it.  And am I correct in thinking Nicole hasn't won a single comp all season?

About the only HG who might give Nicole a run for Worst HG of BB18 would be Michelle, and I have my doubts about that.  Michelle never won HoH, true - but then again neither did Nicole, who might best be described as LOSING her way into her HoH.  And Michelle has at least ONE comp win under her belt - OTEV.

---------

Never mind what the HGs need for their game - what *I* need is for Corey and one of Victor/Paul OTB - and if not Corey out the door, then (probably) Victor, so SOMEONE has a chance of beating Paulie should the JBB be a physical comp.

First HOH?

Like I said, though - Nicole didn't win first HoH, she lost her way into it.

Her team (Freakazoids) was the worst in the first round of comps this season.  They ended up competing to see who went home - which ended up being Glenn - but in a sort of half-assed balancing act TPTB decreed the losing team also got to select the first HoH.  And Nicole only got THAT because neither Corey nor Tiffany wanted to get their hands dirty that early in the season.

And, by her own words, her station during the comp didn't even move, so she had a huge advantage.

I have been watching then moved to twitter after a long phone call.   So their noms went from Corey/Paul  to Paul/Victor.  Do I have this right or have they been changed again?

Link to comment

Not sure.  They haven't been able to talk alone again.

I think it's Vic Paul, telling Vic he isn't the target, telling him why Paul is, and Nicole swearing she will vote Paul out even though Nicorey wants Vic out.

There was also pawn talk earlier, Corey saying he'd volunteer, etc. to try a backdoor of Paul.

I hope Natalie is bullshitting her. If she's doing this all because DR wants it then it's less about her wanting to win the game and her wanting to out on the show Production wants.

She had more reasons than that, but it's disturbing.  She was anti Paul when the feeds came back after the show briefly, I don't think she'd been to the DR by then.

She wanted to put Paul up and toyed with the idea of them both long before she was called into DR.

ETA.  Hard to hear this.  Twitter says DR was pushing her to work with Nicole and Corey.  I don't believe this is true.  She may have been in there telling them she didn't trust Paul and saw he was running the game etc. when they asked her about her game plan.   I can see them saying, how to you plan to accomplish that?  And in her thinking out loud mentioned Nicorey and then their response was encouraging.   This game is tweaked a lot but I don't believe DR outright tells an HG what to do.

DR is always trying to influence. Vic said last week they tried to get him not to nominate Paulie.

I really cannot believe Natalie suddenly likes Nicole. They have no relationship, and Nicole has been absolutely nasty to her behind her back.

I don't understand why Production is so into Nicole/Corey. They bring absolutely nothing to the game. Production is so into white showmances it's ridiculous.

I'm not really surprised by how easily Michelle jumped onto the "Get Paul Out" train, but honestly this is not a good move for her personally. For Natalie it's not bad, but for Michelle it's a better bet for her to go for Nicole/Corey. Although, she also has no chance of beating Paul/Victor in the end so from a "Who can I win against" perspective it's OK.

Honestly I really love this. I'm so glad everyone's playing to win and not afraid to make moves. Well, except James lol.

I saw that too. I believe that Production loves the idea of James/Nicole working together. But it's also a sound game move for Natalie, so I don't know how much it's the DR making a decision for her or Natalie just taking what's said in the DR and using it to soothe her doubts. Kind of like how Paulie mentioned the DR and the RT last week, when, in reality, they were probably just asking what he'd do if he came back, but he took it as a bigger deal. It's possible they asked Natalie a lot more about working with Nicole/Corey than they ever did about Paul/Victor and she took that as them wanting it to happen (which, of course they do), or said something like, "Why not work with Nicole/Corey?" and she took it and ran.

But, it's Big Brother, so who knows. And they're probably super excited to get some James/Nicole in there since they've been present in the edits the whole season and they're thought of as Fan Favorites.

My dream scenario is Bridgette wins the buy back comp and then Natalie/Bridgette reform Spy Girls with Michelle. They can drag Nicole along as the ultimate goat. I mean I really don't want to see Nicole win 2nd place money, but whatever. Paulie would lose his mind if the F4 was all women. Such fun!

Me too! It's no secret I'm not a Nicole/Corey fan, but the game keeps shifting for the last couple of weeks which keeps everyone on their toes.

I agree about Michelle. She's going from being number 3 (Victor/Paul/Michelle) to number 5 really quickly. But she'd need one of Victor/Paul gone before Final 3 anyway, and maybe she thinks she won't get a chance after this. Plus, this puts an even bigger target on Natalie/James and Nicole/Corey are still a duo that has to be separated - while taking the opportunity to break up the strongest pair in the House. She'll probably still be in good shape next week.

ETA: Heh. James. The poor guy is being forced to play because of Natalie.

Oh these are great points. Maybe this isn't a bad move for Michelle at all. Natalie/James will definitely be much more screwed than her after this.

Honestly Michelle is probably a lock for like at least F4. Her and Nicole are probably in the best positions, mostly because I don't think anyone sees them as a threat in any way.

Natalie: "What's best for your game may not be best for my game. Even if you want to put up James, that's best for your game. And I have to respect it."

Imagine. Natalie nominates first, Michelle nominates James right after.

They're planning on being honest with Vic before the nominations and say that Paul is the target. This is going to be a disaster for Natalie.

Michelle is worried about being left out after this move and being a target. Natalie: "You're an invisible player."

Michelle said safety wise, short-term, they should get out Nicole/Corey and stick with the plan. Long-term they should get out Paul. Natalie wants to do long-term. Michelle is worried about doing this and then Nicole sliding to the end because big moves get you in trouble.

Natalie: "I want to make a big move."

I believe Paulie.  It's like the other day, I was at a bar.  And I was walking back to the table my friends were at.  And to an untrained observer, it probably looked like I accidentally fell flat on my face, spilling my drink all over me.  But in reality, I meant to do that, because that was my "bar strategy" (if you will) for meeting people.

It might have also appeared to people that I was then escorted out of the bar by the bouncers.  But once again, something I totally meant to happen.  Bar strategy.

Yo, hit me up if you want a wingman.

"My hysterical screaming and ranting about Jersey Girls with fake boobs as I was dragged out by bouncers? Strategy!"

If the DR has a hand in what is up this week it sure seems to favor Natalie so I have no complaints using Nicole and Corey to get her there, if that is what is going on.  Surely production knows that NO ONE likes Nicole or Corey.  They offer nothing of interest so it makes no sense to keep them if not for the greater good.  :^)

I'm confused. Wasn't Paulie at the carnival thing? How did they edit him out? Or did they make everyone re-shoot the whole thing after he was gone? It seemed really awkward.

During the concert portion there seemed to be weird camera angles. I figured that was because they could only use footage that did not include Paulie.

But the rest of it? Seemed strange.
