I dont expect Liam to hate Hope or anything. But why is he acting like Hope kissing Finn is unfathomable. Did he forget about her kissing Thomas while married to him. Leading to their divorce. The man who was involved in Beth's disappearance and abusing Douglas.

Brooke going to Finns work to complain about Steffy was dumb. Did she think that would work.

Taylor/Ridge were a snooze. Ridge anyone is a snooze at this point.

LOL Steffys condition. I know wont be popular on here. But Hope does need to respect her CEOs marriage. She is lucky she wasn't fired.

Since Finn doesn't work at FC, Steffy wouldn't have a leg to stand on with firing Hope. It would be unlawful termination and Hope would have every right to sue.

Steffy didn't respect her own marriage by kissing Liam twice recently while very married to Finn. Much less when she fucked her employee's husband.

Does he know Katie well enough at all to be saying any of that? The only other time I recall them sharing a scene was 2017, when he got arrested for trying to bust a cap in Quinn's ass.

You're right that she's basically the Steffy of the Logan clan, except I can point to a specific 12 month period in '08 where Steffy was a mostly decent human being. Katie was barely on Show 6 weeks before she was panting over Nick and there were instances where I got the sense they were trying to to chem test Katie with Ridge too.

Did you forget when Katie and Ridge were engaged with the red ribbon of true wuv to seal the deal? Because they had their love of soccer and POEEEMs. Oh and this was after you had sniveling Katie faking a heart attack when Brooke and Ridge were supposed to be remarried (again).

That was w TK!Ridge. I was referring to a couple of scenes from  early in HT's run witnRonn Moss that were, as the kids say, "sus".....including one where they're having a discussion with Katie in a nightie. I'll have to hunt that clip down again.

Finn and Liam are actually brothers from another mother.  They are two  Casper Milquetoasts that are weak minded. Stuffy, the Red Queen, demands obedience from the men in her life, and if they don’t comply, OFF WITH THEIR BALLS.

Seriously. And what's the point of either one of them if neither give Steffy any genuine conflict? Finn may as well be Liam from Temu, who is basically Ridge from Wish.com anyway.

Steffy is a smug hypocrite, and I am convinced that if a tornado ran rampant through the section of LA that she lives in and reduced her house to rubble, that she would find some way to blame that on Hope kissing Finn - - I would love to see a storyline where Finn dumps Steffy for a new woman in town.

As I posted before, Liam and Finn are brothers from another mother. Both are 🥱🥱😴😴

So now the kiss is the reason for Luna putting Stuffy in her cage. WTF?  It was your confrontation of Luna that got you put in a cage.  You didn’t have to overreact and leave LA.

Liam, tries to defend Hope but Stuffy is having no part of it. But if Liam really wanted to defend Hope, he would have brought up her indiscretions while they were together.  Let’s put it this way Stuffy, if Taylor/Ridge was in a strong relationship, Brooke couldn’t come between them.  If you and Finn’s love was that strong, Hope couldn’t disrupt your marriage.  You are just a jealous bitch and jealousy is not love, it’s ownership.

Once again Taylor STFU.  Right now you are trying to pull Ridge away from Brooke by weaponizing her concern for Stuffy and the kids and grandkids.  Ridge just loves to bask in platitudes.

How many languages does Taylor speak?  If she is world renowned, does she only communicate in English?

I really want to know, do they switch writing staffs every other episode, or something?  Because Finn was more abrupt and angry about the kiss talking to Brooke today than he was with Hope yesterday.

Oh, look, there's Steffy ranting about Finn not listening to her to the guy who's kissed her twice without her confessing to her husband. So, again, Finn is supposed to stay away from Hope completely after one kiss, which he was very upfront with Steffy about, but Steffy doesn't need to limit contact with the guy who has been very aggressive in saying he wants to break up their marriage. Not only that, but Steffy is actively bitching about her marriage to him. When Finn came in and Liam stammered around about whatever item of Kelly's was his excuse to come over for some personal time with Steffy, Finn should have called both of their asses out on that bullshit. Even just a "Kelly isn't a forgetful child, but somehow she always forgets stuff when you need to come talk to my wife."

I'd have a tiny morsel of respect for Liam if, when he said Hope isn't a homewrecker, he'd added "like us," or if when Steffy was ranting and raving about the kiss, Liam reminded her that he'd kissed her twice, and asked if Finn was aware of that. Just a little bit of self-awareness that the two of them have done worse many times would be appropriate here. Sure, he was half-assing defending Hope, while, of course, backpedaling to kiss Steffy's ass, but even Ridge defended Hope better. Oh, and considering how close he and Brooke were, I hate that he didn't speak a single syllable in her defense when Princess SuperBitch was whining about her.

Speaking of... Hey, Ridge, Taylor needs the same talk you gave Steffy a while back, about how if she has a problem with you choosing Brooke, take that up with you, because it was your choice, over and over again.

Oh, back to the "are there entirely different writing staffs from one day to the next" issue, Eric acting like this is the first time he's seen Taylor since her return. She was there at the Everybody Must Love Steffy extravaganza. Remember, Eric? She was the one who isn't Brooke that was hanging all over your son?  And, of course Eric's house feels like home to you, Taylor. That's where you lived when you were in a relationship with him, remember?  Are we allowed to remember?  Or are we supposed to pretend that Taylor has always lived in some kind of purity air lock, only leaving it for Ridge's dick?

I wonder if there's a reason Finn didn't include the detail about Steffy threatening to cut Hope's line when he told her he knew she'd told Hope to stay away from him. Did the writing staff forget, from one scene to the next, that he knew that part?

I didn't watch then, but I can't believe the Katie Logan I watched morphed into this alpha heifer. Or that Bell and whoever thought it was a good idea to turn original Donna, who was played very well, by Robert Mitchum's granddaughter-a BRUNETTE into a vapid blonde! And even at her young age, was a better actress than this Barbie Wannabe.

I just can't with Taylor. She doesn't have a shred of self-respect or dignity. It's hard to believe that she wasted her life to date pining away for that arrogant prick. The smug grin on his face while he was toying with her said it all.

By encouraging Taylor and not setting firm boundaries, Ridge is wholly disrespecting Brooke.

I wonder how she'd advise a patient who came to her with the same troubled love life?

What a snoozefest today's show was.

And, again, I can't help noticing that Steffy and her husband's great declarations of love were all about how he'd do anything for her, and she's the most important thing in the world to him, etc, etc. Yeah, she said she loves him so much, but that over the top "I'd do anything for you" shit was only flowing in one direction. It basically comes across like she loves him because he agrees with her that she comes first and is the most important person in the world.

To be fair, this was also one of the many reasons I couldn't buy into a Hope/Thomas love story. All of her declarations about her feelings for him were about how much he loves her and only her. You can draw a parallel between Thope and Sinn about how both women are mostly into how much the guy isn't waffling over to another woman, after years of Liam waffling back and forth between the two of them.

They are both such awkward lovers. Their romantic scenes are just clumsy. Aren't there acting classes available for actors to learn how to perform believable love-making on camera? Even a cheap gas-station porno dvd would be helpful to them. And how about all those shots of Stuffy's ring? I wasn't sure if the camera was focused on that ring because it's going to be a focal point of upcoming story or if the camera person couldn't stand watching them either.

On a pleasant note, I flove Katie's new hair color and style. Very flattering. She looks great.

I blame Jacquie as she's looked awkward with everyone except Don as she comes off as trying to look like the sexiest sexpot eva. Even with Don, she looked like she was focused on showing off her best angles during Stallion Night. Tanner has chemistry with Annika in the massage and fantasy scenes and with the Steffy stand-in during the early days of Covid. In fairness, the latter was his own wife, Kayla, who played Caitlin Ramirez years ago, but the point still stands.

I don't for one second believe Taylor is dying. She's survived a plane crash (actually two plane crashes as there was the one where she became Layla and then the one where she just had to de-virginize James) and being shot by Sheila.

I think this is a semi ripped off from Y&R plot where Nikki and Victor reunited when she was dying and, of course, after they remarried, she miraculously recovered.

Gag.

I know I’m beating a dead horse when I say this but Carter is COO not CFO.  Also, why is Ridge acting like he’s still CO-CEO.

Hey Taylor, tell your daughter the same thing in trying to get her mother and father back together.  Isn’t that also interference?  What does Taylor want for Hope the death penalty?  Taylor, Finn is not Kelly’s father, Liam is but does she even remember that Kelly was born out of a union with a man that was not her husband.  Brooke, according to the monkeys with a keyboard, cannot mention that fact nor bring up Taylor’s past.

So Taylor has heart failure but it’s not usually a death sentence.  I’m sure that wonderful amazing Dr Finn will save her as he did Eric. I’m also wondering if Taylor’s heart failure is a ploy to marry Ridge. You know for Ywhat little time she had left. Could the monkeys with a keyboard take a page out of Sally’s playbook?

My question: What character in otherwise good health is going to suffer brain death and have their heart transplanted into Taylor to save her from dying of heart failure?

I loved Li's expression when that haggard undead meerkat pretending to be Taylor pronounced she was dying. Li was like, WTF, why are you telling me? I watched a man die at Il Giardino and did absolutely nothing to help him. That look on Li's face was priceless. The haggard undead meerkat pretending to be Taylor may as well have said, could you please pass the jelly?

And why is that haggard undead meerkat pretending to be Taylor all smiles about her impending death? Talking to Brooke and telling her life was short - she was smiling! She was smiling with Li. What a ghoul.

I don't believe for a second that we will be rid of her.

And just because Li brought Finn back from the dead better not mean she can do it again. And they better not bring Bridget back with her mad googling skills to save the day. Unless Bridget steals Finn away from his abuser. I might be able to forgive Budge if she did that. And I think we'll all barf if Finn saves the day, again.

And why can't Forrester fame and money push someone up on a transplant list? Sludge always has these pretend friends that he calls for favors.

Like I said before, I don't believe for a second that we will be rid of her. No nice things allowed here.

What a waste of Storm's heart.

I personally feel that Katie has long gotten the karmic payback due for that with interest between Bill sniffing behind Steffy and cheating with Brooke, but she absolutely has lost any right to consider herself a "good girl" with that action. Funny how she just HAD to tell Thorne the truth about why Donna was about to marry him but she and Nick fully intended to keep their traps shut about doing the ol' Devil's Tango until they could confirm that her pregnancy was viable or not.

Even Taylor herself didn't look convinced about her condition.

I could be grossly misremembering this, but after Sheila shot Taylor in the heart, I thought Prince Omar rescued Taylor and she received a new heart. (Maybe I am adding details that weren't there.)

Let's see ... Taylor can reach out to Katie for support, which will inflame Brooke and Donna.

We've already discussed another heart failure deathbed wedding.

Li and Finn (and possibly Bridget) will Google treatment options and earn insta-board certification in advanced cardiac surgery and save Taylor's life. What would make these even nuttier was if either Poppy or Luna dies and became the heart donor. Then, if Ridge marries Taylor out of pity, Brooke and Bill can bond over their heartbreak and grief.

Y-A-W-N!

In any case, I am 1000% confident that Taylor ain't goin' nowhere!

If Taylor wants to keep her condition from her family, it was a really shitty move to choose Li as the doctor she consults with. Yeah, HIPAA and all, so Li is, of course, used to not being able to discuss a patient's condition with anyone without permission, but she's now going to have to keep from her son and his wife that his MIL is dying?  Of course, being a shitty person is kind of Taylor's MO, so...

Oh, look, Taylor is holding that football for Charlie Brown Brooke, again. Brooke, honey, she does not want to be friends with you beyond using that "friendship" to manipulate you, just like she did last time, when she used it to keep you from getting back with Ridge, so she could sneak behind your back and pursue him herself. I mean she already did it right off the bat, making it clear that she won't be friends with you if you don't control Hope and devote your energies to protecting Steffy's marriage. And I think we can all be damn sure that Taylor will, soon enough, use this "friendship" as leverage to get you to sign off on (and even encourage) Ridge marrying her to fulfill her dying wish, despite her assuring you that she has on interest in trying to win Ridge back. That whole conversation she had with Ridge about him not marrying Brooke again, combined with her health news, makes it clear she's there to get that ring on her finger before she dies.

12 hours ago, Js Nana said:

I'd put good money on the pilot. That was, I'm assuming, the whole point of his scenes. The show was telling us "hey, here's a barely there character with a perfectly healthy heart!"

And then, when Taylor is saved by Tom Arnold's heart, Brooke will be "that Logan slut" for daring to want Ridge back when it becomes clear that Taylor is out of the woods, and the marriage is no longer a deathbed wish being fulfilled.

I was thinking that the writers decided they didn't want to keep going with Brooke as Steffy's co-CEO, so they're just pretending that all that happened was Brooke being the Brooke's Bedroom model again. They just couldn't bear to have Steffy not winning for more than 90 seconds.

I have no problem, as a general rule, with just about anyone referring to Finn as being a father to Steffy's kids (because he's not Kelly's father, but he is her very involved stepfather who she seems to adore). But, I specifically remember scenes with KA's Taylor where she wanted to ignore that Hope is Douglas's mother, legally and in every other way that counts. So, Taylor ignoring that Kelly has a father who is alive and actively in the picture, so she can use Kelly as one of her pawns to browbeat Brooke over Hope's crush on Finn, is hypocritical and self-serving (which is, of course, how Taylor and her daughter roll, so...)

And when the prison allows Luna to attend her mother's funeral , she escapes and terrorizes everyone that has done her wrong. Of course the prison doesn't tell anyone that she's on the loose!

Or Finn, cuz there has ben ENTIRELY too much schmoopiness for the past few months with all the "I'll be here for you forever" nonsense.

Now that I have had some time to ruminate, I think I am going to have to be really pissed off about this Taylor is dying crap, because it is all about fucking with Bridge. Thomas isn't here to make any fake phone calls, Steffy is too busy worrying about her wayward husband, and Brooke won't be sharing any drunken kisses with Deacon, so what are the writers supposed to do?

I have been wondering why Ridge and Brooke have never remarried. At least this time Taylor won't be fucking a married man. And of course, Brooke will be expected to understand and loan Ridge to Taylor during her dark hours of "dying", just like Hope was expected to loan Liam to Steffy after she was shot.

The only medical emergency SL I was after was Hope. That would be interesting. Who would save her? Finn, Li or Bridget? I would also have gotten to watch Steffy's face crack as Finn realized just how much he cares for Hope and tries desperately to save her.

Instead, we will get this tired retread. Taylor and Ridge already had a death bed wedding when Stephanie faked her heart attack.

Show is making it really hard..........

Let me get this straight. Taylor (who is a doctor) ignored symptoms of heart trouble then finally saw a doctor "in Europe," who gave her the diagnosis. No second opinion and I am sure there are cardiologists in Europe.

At least Li (who at the very minimum, is an ER doc and surgeon) referred Taylor to a cardiologist instead of offering to treat the condition herself.

Then, to further insult the audience's intelligence, CBS runs pharmaceutical commercials advertising meds to treat every type of cardiac condition imaginable! 🤣😂

So the undead meerkat put the burden on her beloved daughter's mother in law. What a shitty thing to do to Li. Li should have told her, sorry I can't be a part of this BS, I won't keep important secrets from my son and his wife. Now Li is expected to feel uncomfortable around her own family for this undead meerkat's sake? Please, we all know that she is the thing that can't be killed. Unless they start showing me some Sheila, I'm going to have to take a break from this crap. There're no good stories right now. And the spoilers are not inspiring.

I was cracking up and rolling my eyes during Steffy's speech to Ridge about how Taylor brings joyful energy to the family. If there is one thing I'm not getting from RB's Taylor, it's joyful energy. Even her clothes are bland. We've gone from KA's clavicle-forward wardrobe to a 1980's female stand-up's wardrobe. And is Steffy trying to push mommy and daddy back together again? Begging Ridge to get her to stay in town, when Steffy knows damn well that the only thing that ever keeps her in town is having Ridge.

There could potentially be an interesting story in what Taylor's repeated abandonment has done to Steffy. But this show will never acknowledge that shit. We get constant reminders that Hope has issues because of her mother's romantic life over the years, and how she doesn't want to "turn into" Brooke. But never any acknowledgement from Steffy that she doesn't want to be the kind of absent parent her mother was?

I'll say it again, dragging Li into this was a shitty thing for Taylor to do, knowing she doesn't want her family to know. Taylor has worked at the same hospital over the years. She doesn't have her own contacts there she could have used to find a good cardiologist?  She has to drag her daughter's MIL into the middle of this and burden her with keeping the secret?

53 minutes ago, CountryGirl said:

This storyline is beyond stupid.

Many, many people live with heart failure and would not consider themselves to be "dying." With medication and surgery, many live very full, long lives.

They brought Taylor, a polarizing character at best, who hasn't been relevant since Death #2, for this?

I was thinking the same thing. My cousin has the same diagnosis. She was put on medication, and within a couple months, her test results were in a "normal" range. She, of course, has to be mindful of her health and go in for regular appointments for the rest of her life, but it was known right out of the gate that there was a treatment for it, and it wasn't an immediate death sentence.

It's going to be hilarious when they act like Finn and Bridget have to come up with some exotic experimental treatment for something that millions of Americans are successfully being treated for.

The only thing I'm hoping to see is Finn and Bridget make good on all the long, meaningful glances they were giving each other during Eric's treatment.

Hope is off the hot seat she didn't deserve to be put on and Brooke, by extension.

Bridget was done dirty by her own mother and was always up Taylor's ass, even following in her footsteps by becoming a doctor, and is considered to be a "good" Logan, so it will be interesting to see the reaction if she and Finn hook up.
