Maybe. Except I can't really see Thea or Roy actively going against OTA. Laurel, yes. She's more likely to be stubborn and do her own thing.

Because, just like Havenrock, it was more of a "shocker" than an actual storyline they want to pursue. They used to eliminate baby mama so Oliver can be a dad, and they used it to eat up episodes without Willa Holland because she again has limited episodes this season.

I can totally see Thea or Roy going against OTA depending on the reason. Diggle/Oliver had fractures in the past, if those two can have it then anyone on the team can imo.

*I had to rewrite this because I was on a phone that for some reason doesn't post in English on the site* I haven't started the episodes yet but I seen this on another site. I don't mind spoilers. The Reverse Flash says everyone has heard of the Flash and Co but no one has heard of Felicity? But she starts a company that I'm sure will still be around in the future, so how can anyone not know who she is? Explain that dialogue to me?

He was bullshitting her to freak her out and imply that she doesn’t survive. That’s my take on it.

Wasn't there a BTS picture of Emily where she appeared to be wearing just a wedding band? Judging from the feelings Felicity expressed regarding the engagement/shooting, I'm assuming she probably wouldn't want the original ring back. And they were never really engaged this time so I could see them skipping the engagement ring altogether.

Yes, it annoys me that Oliver is like, punching, kicking, shooting arrows, looking cool... And then the next scene is Wilddog shooting a hail of bullets with no skill at all... I thought the point of The Arrow/GA was to do what regular cops or ppl could not, and literally be a badass compared to them... But Wilddog makes Oliver look dumb for using a bow...

But i strongly doubt they will go back to OTA, not a chance... Not even 1 member will leave. I'm sure of it.

No, no chance of staying with OTA but I am enjoying the dream.  :D

Pretty much this. Also because knowing Oliver if Rene went to him telling what the FBI is trying to do he would do anything to help him. So Rene doesn’t trust the team and I don’t see why the team should trust Rene in the future.

Agreed. I don't care what the FBI is threatening him with, forget the team, I'm not going to forgive him.  Dude has too many strikes against him.

I'm sure he'll be back after the B team goes on strike but I don't see how he redeems himself even if he saves them. The only reason the B team would be needed to swoop in and save them would be because this idiot didn't come clean about the FBI lady going after him which is going to have triggered the break up in the first place.  So I can't see how I'll ever let it go.  The team will, but nope, he's never getting off my shit list.

I just know that if it really is OTA gain. They will be struggling really hard and then be like "we really need the team back..." Even though they were fine in the past and they were also doing fine at the start of S5 with just Oliver and Felicity, but they recruited the noobs just cuz they were active on the street by themselves and might have gotten themselves killed, but Olictiy was still doing just fine and didn't really need em. But i'm sure that if they split up, suddenly OTA will struggle without them.

Technically Felicity also pointed out that if they had a team they would be able to go after bigger criminal enterprises so she thought they did need to grow the team.  And I agree that just Oliver and Felicity is too small.  They arent' even going to have Diggle as back up I'm guessing.  So once the B team comes back, that's fine, their muscle is helpful, but yeah, I don't see how I'm going to be sympathetic to them much at all.

The hilarious part is I'm sure the B team is going to gain fans just to spite the people that like OTA, lol.

I also think his comment was a comic shout out since she's a very small character there while vital on GA.  I think if anything it might lead her to name her company after herself to make sure her name IS remembered.

Does anyone think they're actually going to take a minute next week to explain how it's possible for Noah, who was arrested in season 4 and is a fugitive from justice, to be present at the mayor's pretty big and seemingly public wedding reception? If only they had released the promo photos, I probably wouldn't be thinking about this at all.

I think people on Twitter managed to track down Felicity's dress. Hers is in white/nude.

I'm not so sure he never heard of Felicity, i didn't think much of it besides RF trying to scare her or something. Plus there's this.....

Wow that dress is absolutely perfect. If only we got a scene of Oliver unzipping her out of it later.

WHAT. DON'T LOOK AT ME.

I'm not sure where the full video is (looks like it's from DC All Access, maybe?) but it's interesting that Greg Berlanti came up with the double wedding and Professor Stein's death after last year's crossover. I wonder if anything will change plot-wise now that he's more involved with some of the shows?

From Velocity in the MYS thread

Quote

It was Greg Berlantis idea to do a double wedding. Also a death during the crossover. And Greg pitched for the character to be Martin Stein.

The reason they didn’t do Earth-X Barry was because they did an evil Barry last season on The Flash, and they didn’t want to do that again.

(From the Inside the crossover special that is available on Itunes with a season pass of any of the 4 shows).

Is William the best man at the Olicity reception? He's got a little flower on his suit! Soooooo cute!

Is it weird to anybody else that having his mom die is turning out well for William?  He's open, friendly, doing better in school, no longer the voiceless dead-eyed psycho "myson" from previous seasons.

William was always open with EVERYONE which was part of the problem when a stranger showed up and said they were a friend of his mother's, lol.

I don't think he was ever a dead-eyed psycho, just rather a bit stilted in the video and not given much of anything to do in the finale and SUPER naive all the other takes on him.  He wasn't an individual until this season.  And we never heard he did poorly in school before.

I think it's not fair to say he's being characterized as a nice kid now because his mom died, but that he is in spite of his mother dying.

Wow the one of Olicity side by side is gorgeous. The dress is perfect, totally made up for that awful first one. And Oliver looks like dessert.

Are Donna and Noah doing a mock walk down the aisle to Oliver?

I agree.  I just think it's funny that that's how it comes off because before he was written as more of an object than a person and character in his own right.

I will say that I half expect the show to channel those ham fisted anti-drug commercial with Oliver confronting William

Oliver:  William, I can't believe you kept this from me.  Where did you learn that was okay?

William:  From you, Dad!  I learned it from watching you!

I wonder if there's going to be another ceremony? I can't figure out why Felicity would be carrying (and throwing) a bouquet if there wasn't one, but in the reddit spoilers the guy said that Oliver looked awestruck when Felicity walked in with her parents - and she has a ring on in those pictures with them. I was thinking maybe there was a ceremony beforehand that we just don't see, but then she and Oliver wouldn't be arriving separately like the spoiler indicates.

I gotta stop trying to figure this out, LOL.

Forever bitter Moira's not here for this reception.

I've been lamenting this for the past few weeks. I will be forever bitter that we missed out on a Moira/Felicity mother/daughter-in-law relationship. I think it would have been really complex and fascinating and missing out on it feels cruel.

I thought it was a new ceremony until the promo showed people mingling and talking while Felicity is walking it. I wonder if it's just a party, but Donna is making Felicity humor her by being escorted like she was walking down the aisle and doing the bouquet toss and all the other elements of a wedding. I could see her doing that.

Did Quentin give Oliver a watch? Man, how far these two have come.

I think there was something in the Reddit spoilers about Quentin giving him a gift, something that was traditional in his family. I’m not sure what it was. The shot of Dig handing him a gift reminds me of Oliver’s necklace for baby Sara. The moment would be even sweeter if she was still there and co-oped as a flower girl by Donna.

This episode will likely end really badly seeing how happy everyone is at the start but I can’t even bring myself to fret, this is all so wonderful.
