Week 13 Picks: Atlanta, Baltimore, Chicago, Detroit, Cleveland, Minnesota, New York, Philadelphia, Seattle, San Francisco, Cincinnati, Vegas, Dallas, Tampa

Odds:

Tennessee/Philly
Eagles 4.5
44.5 O/U
Eagles and Over

Kansas City/Cincy
Chiefs 2.5
52.5 O/U
Cincinnati and over

Indy/Dallas
Cowboys 10.5
43.5 O/U
Indy and over

New Orleans/Tampa
Tampa 3.5
40.5 O/U
Saints and over

Tennessee could keep it close, but I don't know if it'll be that close.  It only takes one mistake for Philadelphia to pull away.  Regardless of what happens in the GOTW, I'm picking Cleveland FTW on Week 14.  On a related note, I not going to pick Kansas City to beat the Bengals until they actually do it.

The Cowboys blowing out Indianapolis should be what happens.  The Colts are coming off of a short week.  Really nothing they can do on SNF.  However, there often seems to be a meaningless score which makes a difference.

Eventually I'll get a Saints/Bucs correct.  Though it might take TB12 from leaving the team in order to do so

I had a hard time with this one. I agree that it is enough points to make a meaningless score at the end let the Colts cover. But I’m going with blow out. The Cowboys have a rich history recently of running up the score. That way when it comes to pro bowl voting and other self promotion, they have gaudy stats.

For example, week 17 last year the Eagles rested their started since they were locked into their playoff seed. The Cowboys took the opportunity to score 50 points for absolutely no reason.

Ian Eagle should be announcer for the Eagles. (He's doing Vikings/Jets today.)

Philadelphia/Tennessee is a FOX game (which is being called by their top team).  Otherwise I'd totally agree (especially with the CBS top team calling KC/Cincy).

Under the pre-2014 structure, the Titans/Eagles game would've been on CBS, but then they might've had Nantz on the call with KC/Cincy in Primetime over Dallas/Indy.  Except not since it's the Cowboys

No.  Just no.

EW.

Though I wouldn't be surprised if Cleveland doesn't do much this year especially if they somehow fall today and then next week.  Still a game vs Baltimore, if it's over they might punt.

They should be a bigger deal next year.  Though maybe not if they decide to run it back but with someone other than Stefanski

Double ick.

Vikings finally got a touchdown, so we're ahead 10-3.

Jets defense is good but they are getting a lot of penalties. Replay shows the calls as justified, so Vikings end up getting extra yards. Well I guess I don't mind.

Kirk Cousins just did his Josh Allen imitation and ran for a first down. Now Mosley on defense did a head to head hit to Cousins on the side of Cousins' head and knocked him down. Shouldn't that have been called? Or was that not a penalty for some reason?

Also a Jets guy took Cousins down after he threw the ball. I thought that was roughing.

BTW: Today's missed point is brought to you by the letters J, O, K, and E.  RE: Ian Eagle calling the Eagles game.  I (still) stand corrected

The head-to-head thing should've been called and likely the defensive player should've been out of the game.  Barring that, a hit to Cousins is fair game as Kirk is a runner.  It's not easy if he started sliding before the motion to hit a QB occurred

Falcons look like shit, defense can’t stop the Steelers and fucking Mariota is wildly inaccurate. 16-6 Steelers and it seems like it could be worse.

Vikings dominating the Jets, up 20-3, total domination on both sides of the ball, Jets are getting shut down this week after their big offensive showing last week.

Eagles up 14-10 on the Titans, Hurts looks great and the Eagles are moving the ball well, the Titans are also moving it pretty well and it’s a good game.

Commanders/Giants tied at 13.

Browns up 7-5 on the Texans with a PR TD, Watson has been pretty bad so far.

Lamar out for the Ravens with an injury, Broncos up 6-3.

Lamar has been ruled out of the second half. Knee injury.

The Ravens already have had a lot of injuries, and they had better hope Lamar is good to go next week and the rest of the season because he is what makes their offense click, they look like total garbage today.

Eagles now up 28-10 on the Titans, Hurts looks terrific, over 300 yards passing and 4 total TD’s (2 to Brown, 1 to Smith, 1 rushing) he has to be an MVP favorite, and the Eagles have a deep, loaded team, they are very good on defense as well.

Falcons get a much needed TD and make it a one score game, 19-13.

Lamar was already banged up a bit during the week.  He had exit early with a quad injury.  Limited in practice.  With a knee injury, I hardly think it's anything positive for Jackson.  That is huge for the rest of the AFC North.

Probably bigger for Pittsburgh since they have yet to face Baltimore.  However, Cleveland and Cincinnati still have games against the Ravens, and both home games.  While Xeliou66 would love to see Atlanta survive, the Steelers who were basically done, need to escape here to make it into another week toward success.  I doubt they can, but one week at a time now.  Especially since a Top 5 pick isn't even a thing anymore  Finally, they're not beating Buffalo or Kansas City or whoever wins the NFC but it would not be a great loss if they blow it.

Though a great win for the Falcons, but possibly meaningless until you beat Tom Brady

Looks like the Vikings will escape. Ugh. Can't stand that asshole Cousins.

Not so fast.  That was not a great use of their TO for New York.  They would've been better off letting them score, which in turn would've prevented NY from having so much time for a second chance.  They a horrible play by the Vikings with NY with all of their TOs.  Only 13 seconds (go figures) used

Seriously!  I don't even have a morning game on FOX, and CBS chooses to show me this one?  But it wound up being more interesting than anticipated.

I assume you're getting the Rams game on FOX this afternoon? Up north, we're getting the Niners/Fins, a much better matchup. Jimmy G is hurt though. Ankle?

Garoppolo injured on a sack against the Dolphins and Brock Purdy is coming in to play QB for the Niners. Fins up 7-3 early.

I wish the Fins/Niners and Chiefs/Bengals games were on at different times, they are arguably the 2 most compelling games of the day, and they are both on tv here in South Florida, meaning I’ll have to flip back and forth, I wish I could watch one on tv and the other on Sunday Ticket on iPad.

Giants/Commanders ends in a tie, what a fucking joke, I fucking hate tie games and it’s embarrassing that they are still allowed, most unsatisfying type of game. It’s a fucking joke and it’s time to get rid of them.

A tie is like kissing your sister.  So I’ve been told.

I haven't seen my sister in this millennium.  Fuck.  I thought Gano had enough leg to pull that off.

I have both games on cable here in AZ, too.  Do you have an app for your cable or satellite feed?  I could watch one game on the Cox app if I wanted to and the other on teevee.

Ties can really fuck you when you are playing for playoff spots.  Correct me if I'm wrong but it counts the same as a lose right?

No.  You're half a game behind someone who won but half a game ahead of someone who lost.  So 9-7-1 is worse than 10-7, but better than 9-8.

I don’t have any app for my cable feed, so I’ll be flipping back and forth between them.
