I don't understand how this would work. Where would they team up? In some random city? Or are all of them going to be in Central City and Starling City and just not interact with the Arrow or Flash? Or will they cross over too and this show will just be the common ground for the A/F castoffs? Are they all going to keep appearing on their home shows? Probably not, I guess that'd be over kill.

 

These are all rhetorical questions since obviously no one has the answer, haha.

Pretty sure that happened at a SDCC one year. 

 

ONE year out of 10 is not a big thing. And SPN has never had the buzz and that Arrow has from CW or the DC universe. My point is that you have to have ONE of the two co-leads at a big even like PaleyFest. There is no disputing that Jared and Jensen are equal co-leads just like SA has been sole lead character.

I'm surprised by Brandon's attitude and tweets since last night. I don't know what's up with him and MG. I don't understand this thing about enjoying watching fans getting riled up, making matter worse and calling haters everyone who dare to have a different opinion.

What did he do? He said thank you to someone who was praising his acting? Is that it or was there more. Because nothing he said there was warranting backlash.

I think the "mocking" referred to the comment he was responding to which was being derogatory about a certain fan base.  They were supersensitive about being called haters because they were upset about what happened in show. 

 

As an actor your job is to elicit a response from the audience.  Hate is better than apathy.  Therefore, he was just doing his job.

I don't think he did anything wrong, but I think it would be better to not respond to any tweets that refer to any part of the fanbase derogatorily, or if he likes to thank all the people who give him compliments, then maybe he should reply to her directly instead of posting it for his whole feed to see. 

 

I think it's an especially sensitive subject here because while a lot of people do hate Ray just because he's an iceberg in the ship waters, his detractors do have an actual point about his problematic behavior, and it's not just a case of "hating." It's not Brandon's fault - he is just doing his job and doing his best with what he's given, I just think it's smart for anyone to avoid minefield situations on social media if they can.

I wonder if Stephen Amell is hoping that the all of the show's excess baggage is shipped over to the new spin-off so he can go back to being the lead of his own show.

 

I do think the new show will be a good showcase for all of the new heroes they want to introduce instead of forcing them into Arrow's narrative.

Honestly, I’m just trying to be humorous.  And I try to avoid being mean at all times.  As for the other ships, I answer the questions put to me (so long as they don’t ask for spoilers).

I think somebody totally talked to MG. The tone is completely different. Filtering is a good thing for MG.

 

Cute vid - thx for the heads up. But what is EBR wearing? I understand the dress might be cold, but why not just a sweater? The loose tan leotard-esque thing under the dress was just so bizarre & ill fitting.

Aww. That video was more enjoyable than most of season 3. My precious OG3. I've missed 'em.

Also it looks like EBR is wearing a thermal vest under her dress which means it must be freaking freezing there.

So MG miraculously changed his attitude in answering questions, a spin-off was announced and now an OG3 video with SA, EBR and DR? Hmmm. Is it just me or is this all suspicious timing?

He's probably been told to stop being a dick by someone with more sense and power than him. Any hope that Guggenheim heads up the spinoff, leaving someone else in charge of Arrow?

So they should tell him off. I'm not advocating haters here but people who care enough to go to MG's tumblr and leave questions mean they are invested in the show and what happens. Just because they don't have the same opinions as MG, doesn't mean they're not valid. MG was blatantly dismissing very valid concerns and points, from the few I've read. There's just no need for it. Tbh, there's no need for him to be on tumblr at all. It's opened up a can of worms that was completely unnecessary. 

 

And I feel like the timing of all these announcements was suspicious because I'm seeing more and more people disheartened by the show right now, even critics aren't that impressed. All these things seem like damage control and a way of getting people talking positively for a change. 

 

I get the feeling all three EP's might split the workload on the spin-off, although AK is now with Supergirl too so I don't know how that will work. I'm sure The Flash will suffer in s2 like Arrow did this season.

I put my hate where it belongs, MG, AK and GB.

I do too kind of. It's not his fault he has crazy eyes and seems doomed to being cast as the third wheel to a beloved couple/ship. But this is twice now for me. Please go away to your own show now thx!

It is probably more the case that he's just in such a good mood about the spin off hopes that he took the time to be nicer.  Either that or his wife pointed out he was being a dick.

This video was all kinds of cute. With Stephen and David humming the Jeopardy theme song, Emily and Stephen sharing stories about the two times David got mad on set, Emily creating a word (hers is the easiest to remember, aside from Stephen's sinceriously) and all three just being adorable. Unless KC gets shipped off Arrow, Stephen will continue being second banana on his own show in the 4th season. This entire mess of season 3 was just to turn Laurel into Black Canary. Everyone acting out of character, blowing up the favorite parts of the show, etc. all to service KC. I can only hope her ego has gotten so big that she'll quit Arrow to go star in movies.

I like BR and I don't think he did anything wrong in that Tweet. I also find it hilarious he hashtags so many things. He seems like one of those guys that are genuinely nice and is always patient and kind with fans. Unfortunately, Ray is so poorly written and ill-conceived and his presence severely effects my enjoyment of the show. 

 

Why do I have to go to SA's FB show to see some quality Team Arrow moments? Why show, why?

I don't see what the big deal is about Routh's tweet. He was told he did a good job playing Ray and said thank you. 

 

I think he focused on the compliment, and the person who got offended focused on the "haters" aspect. I don't think he was thanking the person for branding certain fans with that derogatory term.

BR seems like a nice guy - it's too bad that he gets cast as the other man in so many shows.  Hopefully, once on his own show, he can get a brand new love interest.

 

Incidentally, what a happy coincidence that the spin-off news was released on the eve of the Long Beach Comic Expo - where MG will be appearing this weekend.

I'll confess, I'd feel sorrier for BR if he were a better actor. *shrugs* He seems sweet and nice and all, but Grant Gustin managed to be charming and create chemistry with EBR, while OQ was being jealous in the background, so it can be done.
