I can understand st. Louis not making the cut for a housewife show. A friend of my mom went to a casting a long time ago for a possible chicago franchise...but it was called off due to not finding 'suitable' housewives to fill out a roster.

I get what you're saying, but Meghan as the teenager playing dress up is exactly what I love about her. She is so stilted and awkward and tragic and strange. And while true that she does not have the house porn or the clothing of Camille, she has her strange, clumsy gait, and she also her bizarre way of speaking replete with over enunciated words and the sentence construction of someone who speaks English as a second language. I find her utterly bizarre. She definitely has a shot at being the OC's Porsha: dumped by Jimmy over hiatus and then back next season as a "liberated," renewed woman on the prowl!

 

 I'm laughing at this cause I just saw these photos of Meghan and noticed her manly arms and large hands. Her hip area is awful reminiscent of the statue of Michaelangelo. Her knees are twice the size of her fellow cast mates. She has a male physique...no female fat areas.

Who knows...it would be a first for HW. In the long run it makes no difference as long as Meghan and Jim are happy. I would think he would know?

Added: I notice the physique stuff as a former student of FIT, NY...we took life and anatomy classes where each muscle is studied and drawing the male and female nude body of various models gives one an idea of what the human form is.

She used to have a more "womanly" body if you go back a few pages. Her body is not unlike some instagram fitness gurus who engage in restrictive eating and light steroid use (many female fitness gurus on instagram use steroids; it's a dirty little secret). I also wondered about androgen insensitivity syndrome but who knows.

Perhaps this has already been posted but I'll post again. First I have to comment about Jim Edmonds. He's a 45 year old former baseball center fielder (who really cares that much about baseball anyway). He's currently working as a sportscaster for Fox Sports Midwest. He used to be pretty hot 'back in the day' and has an estimated net worth of $35 million. He's been married twice before marrying Meghan with whom he carried on an affair for two years before marrying her. His second wife Allison Jaye Raski is a beauty. (obviously Jim prefers thin blondes). He married Allison in 2008 and they have two children together, a boy and a girl. Jim and Allison were divorced in February 2014 and Jim married Meghan in October 2014, just eight months later and approximately four months before the taping of season 10 was scheduled. This is Allison (on the left) at a black tie affair in 2013.

 

Here's the kicker. It was Allison, not Meghan that was slated to be the new housewife. Allison is good friends with Heather Dubrow and it was rumored that Heather was instrumental in the arrangements made between E! network, Jim and Allison to have them appear on the season 10 of Housewives. When the divorce happened, the deal fell through. Meghan claims to have been in the lives of Jim's two children for two years which would make that in the ballpark of the winter of 2013. That's an entire year before the divorce of Jim and Allison happened. After marrying Jim Edmonds, Meghan had a career in St. Louis in medical software sales. As mentioned on the first episode of the season, Meghan was living a "jet-setter" life before becoming a step-mom and moving to California. But, Meghan gave it up to move to California in order to replace Allison as the new Housewife of Orange County.

 

One last thing that Meghan doesn't really like to disclose is the fact that she's been married before Jim Edmonds. She was reportedly married to a young attorney named Brad McDill shortly after she graduated from University of Mississippi in 2007. According to court documents Meghan Edmonds married her beau in July 2007 and separated on October 14, 2011, citing irreconcilable differences as the reason for their separation. Jim Edmonds spends most of his time living in their St. Louis home since that's where his sports announcing job is. The bottom line here is that Jim Edmonds is a philanderer and both Jim and Meghan are adulterers so there's a big question mark as to how long this 'marriage' going to be able to sustain itself.

The case was dismissed just a few months back, when he was filming The Real Housewives of Orange County with Meghan. But he could be skipping out on filming because he is embarrassed of Meghan’s behavior. Meghan has often said that Jimmy doesn’t like the cameras. I think poor Jim has had a couple of overwhelming failure restaurants. I think one was a rib joint in St. Louis. That was an overly-ambitious endeavor considering the people in St. Louis know good BBQ and adding his name alone to a rib joint isn't a guarantee of success. Even if the term "Cancer Sucks" is trademarked, I'm not sure if the legal holders would bother going after Mini-Brain unless she started to heavily promote her hats for a nice profit.

 

That aside, her choice of "#Cancer Sucks" demonstrates a complete and predictable lack of originality and creative thinking. If she really wants to promote the fight against cancer, why not do something really compelling like walking up, over, and down the St. Louis arch in gusty winds while wearing a blindfold? I'd contribute to that charitable event.

McDonald's comes to mind.  It reminds me of the Eddie Murphy movie Coming to America and the fast food restaurant McDowell's.  I think Jimmy did more than copy the name-I think he knocked off the interior.

(Jerseylicious, Big Rich Texas, Tia and Tamara) Don't you find it interesting that some rags and Bravo are just now discussing her reality background, Say Yes to the Dress, YET, they only mention she was on A show not a few reality shows. Again, I think this is Bravo taking the lead on trying to shape Meghan's background/resume to fit her narrative that she just was on these shows because of her marriage to Jim...not that her and her siblings have other extensive reality and contact with other celebrities completely separate and before Meghan met Jim. On one Catfish episode about two years ago, a catfisher used RJ King's photos and called himself Jamison.  RJ is Meghan's model brother, and now, after reading how Meghan and co. are Reality TV famewhores, I'm wondering if that episode was set up to get RJ some fame and publicity, because he was just so random, and nothing special.  Catfish has done things like that before, according to former show participants, so it wouldn't surprise me.

I bet she was hired because she was mildly pretty in a generic way (before the body transformation) during her Resale Royalty days. Salespeople who do face-to-face sales are probably recruited on the basis of their looks but being successful in that industry requires more than looks.

I know I'm late to the party, but i just watched the episode with meghans game night.damn those were some childish stupid moronic "games" they did with the "guess what your spouse would say" part of the evening. I would refuse to take part in that idiocy (not sure if that's a word). I would take my significant other, grab a cocktail and politely excuse myself from Meghans dumbass "party".
