ByaNose August 12, 2015 Share August 12, 2015 I just wanted Becky's plan to work because Vanessa was so indigent about it. Vanessa wasn't in power and pouted like a baby. So, it looks like it's Shelli who will be leaving. Jeez! Can't anyone stick with the plan? 6 Link to comment
peachmangosteen August 12, 2015 Share August 12, 2015 I'm gonna need John to win HOH and/or Becky to win the veto during DE and then Becky win the HOH afterwards. That would be amazing drama. I love this season so much. I am SO glad I don't have anyone to truly root for because it just makes it so much fun to watch all this drama and flip flopping. ETA: Oh, I forgot to mention that I can not believe Becky suggested the same alliance name with two different groups. Honestly Becky WTF?! All of these people are kinda terrible at the game but kinda good too. It's really fun! 8 Link to comment
kellog010 August 12, 2015 Share August 12, 2015 Once Vanessa tossed out the General's that solidified it. I saw it on James face yesterday because Vanessa couldn't have made that up. That was a mistake on Becky's part because it gives weight to Vanessa's arguments. Plus Becky is acting very paranoid and it shows. Add to that Shelli is not campaigning at all like she knows she's safe. There's still plenty of time until Thursday so I won't believe these votes are locked in until Shelli's out the door. 2 Link to comment

peachmangosteen August 12, 2015 Share August 12, 2015 Also I think James is still kinda resentful that Shelli didn't go last week and that's fueling a lot of this right now. Honestly it really is a better move for ADC to take out Shelli now. If they don't they're probably fucked immediately, but if they do they might buy themselves another week or two. I mean basically they're fucked either way so might as well get a few more weeks outta it! Jackie being so into this surprises me though. She has been one of the only people to see through Vanessa for weeks. And she has been defending Becky all week. She still is actually. At this rate the F4 will be Austwins and Steve. Which sounds awful but is kinda hilarious, too. 1 Link to comment

Austin somehow got himself into a great position despite being in a threesome. He's that player from most seasons who is in trouble often early in the game and then ends up being forgotten about. I will say that he and the twins are really good at agreeing with everything and everyone without ever giving away their real opinions - they make me wonder what they're really thinking. Vanessa said if she stays and wins HOH, it's Becky, John and Steve in some order up there. I believe her. I think we've seen the last of Steve throwing competitions. Because of course, I'm pathological! Vanessa always gives others too much credit - like thinking Clay and John has a whole scheme for Clay to stay, when in reality he really didn't care. She's trying to say three steps ahead of all the HGs, when in reality half of them are just catching up. Steve would totally win that fight because he wouldn't fight back. She'd look like the total bad guy. And I don't think Steve cares enough to get guilt tripped. Edited August 12, 2015 by mooses 1 Link to comment
ByaNose August 12, 2015 Share August 12, 2015 Wow! A lot can happen in a few days. It sounds like the majority are going to turn on Becky and vote out Shelli. This might be he best route because Vanessa is manic. I think Shelli will slightly shocked come eviction night. Of course, Becky might die on the spot when she sees Vanessa still there. Everything could hit the fan with the double eviction though. Whoever wins that will set the stage for the rest of the game. 1 Link to comment
yankee1151 August 12, 2015 Share August 12, 2015 James and Meg have surprisingly started to figure out Becky's game pretty accurately. Realized she only committed to their side after she became HOH. Starting to say they don't want to do her dirty work - and that she's coming out too good this week with the Slop Pass, 10 Grand and no blood on her hands. They think she's expendable and aren't worried about protecting her. But these guys have had so many epiphanies, they'll probably need to come to this conclusion a few more times before it sticks. ETA: Meg wants Vanessa to stay bad. And James implied DR confirmed that Shelli stole his shirt. I've been saying all along that ADC would stop trusting Becky (or pretending to) once she no longer had power. And unless there's a tie on Thurs, she no longer has power. I'm loving this development. Girl should have stayed invisible. Ooooh, good point. I like this. I'm interested in this new development. It would be hilarious to see Shelli go. Especially if they can keep it from her until it happen. Good times! It really is a much better bet for ADC to take out Shelli. She's 100% gunning for them, she's probably more of a comp threat than Vanessa, and John/Becky will probably pick her over ADC when push comes to shove. I'm seeing a lot of stuff elsewhere with people being angry over James' reaction to Shelli's stupid shirt problem. Like I get that, but don't you also have to realize Shelli was being an entitled brat about the shirt in the first place? I mean come on! I am still finding it so funny that opposite sides of the house wanna throw HOH to Steve, meanwhile Steve wants to throw HOH. LMAO! I have a feeling John will win DE HOH. I don't hate him as much as I once did, but I still don't really care for him, but I'm OK with this. He's the only person who will go after Austwins and they really need to be broken up at this point. If John is really the only one that would go after the Austwins, those fuckers are going to coast to the end. The stupidity in that house... Also this shirtgate situation is so hilarious and I haven't even watched any of it. Everyone being so against Becky has me rooting for her. Because of course, I'm pathological! Reading about everyone being so against Becky has me cackling with glee. I, too, am pathological. Everything could hit the fan with the double eviction though. Nashville August 12, 2015 Share August 12, 2015 I mean I agree with you, but I can see why people think James is being a bit extra and petty about the whole thing. But like Shelli is too, so who cares. I have the impression the only degree to which James truly gives a shirt shit is: If he and Clay swapped some clothes so that James is now 2-3 shirts short. More importantly (to James) - it's a tool to foment antagonism toward Shelli, who is at present James's primary threat. All of these people are kinda terrible at the game but kinda good too. It's really fun! Once again, peach, you have summarized my thoughts eloquently. What is the chance V isn't really PO'ed at Steve, but is trying to create the appearance of strategic distance between the two of them? 1 Link to comment
bobthefrog August 12, 2015 Share August 12, 2015 Vanessa literally just blew up Steve's entire game causing him to go from essentially safe to one of the biggest targets in the house so I'd say the chances of this being some move to help the Steve/Vanessa alliance are pretty much zero. Lying that he knew every minute Vanessa would be blinsided by Becky. Hes underestimated how smart Vanessa really is. 2. Choosing JMAc over Vanessa when it was Vanessa who kept him safe when EVERYONE wanted him out. Steve has allowed Jmac to brainwash him. 3. Cant lie with shit. after noms replacement his body language gave him away and Vanessa picked up on it. She knew Shelli was lying her fucking ass off. But Steve was the last person she thought would ever pull the wool on her. 4. He jumped ship before Vanessa could leave the door. He basically gave up his alliance last night without saying names and once again Vanessa picked up on it. And why is Becky being billed as Train Conductor/HOH (the conductor doesn't usually get hit by the train). Also, the crawl informs us several houseguests don't know what a swordfish looks like. And this should surprise us because....? BBAD has also alerted us that the house is running low on man candy. I'm guessing Grodner contributed that tidbit. Link to comment

Brian Cronin August 12, 2015 Share August 12, 2015 One of the most fun things about following this dumb show for so many years is fhat we can always draw interesting comparisons to Big Brother past, as well as noting the times when legitimately new innovations to the game were introduced (like Nakomis coming up with the 6-Finger Veto plan, which changed the way the game would be played from that point on). With that in mind, this has been a historically bad campaign by Shelli. Right up there with the all-time worst campaigns. She took herself from certainly not guaranteed safety, but being in decent shape to being out the door. Not only going out the door, but she even managed to blow up Becky and Steve's game in the process. This is magnificent in a trainwreck sort of sense. A historic week. 10 Link to comment

TheRealT August 12, 2015 Share August 12, 2015 Yeah, Becky's handling of the Get Vanessa plan has been pretty bad and she's kind of screwed now. There was no reason for her to insist on getting all the blood on her own hands. I kind of think she did that to try to solidify her place in "our group" (it bugs me how she always says that) and maybe to seem cool on TV. She knew that V might come back from jury or at least would be a jury vote, so she didn't even have the excuse of thinking V would be gone for good; it was just dumb gameplay. Also, she has totally been cultivating Shelli behind ADC's backs, so it's not like she's really been 100% for the team. That's fair and good gameplay, but it's also fair and good gameplay for James, Jackie, and Meg to do what's best for their games. It's really helpful not to care much about any of these people in terms of enjoying the game. Usually I end up kind of rooting for/against people based on how much I like them as people, but I don't feel that so much this season. I hate Shelli on a personal level, so I want her to lose, but, at this point, I don't care much who wins or loses with the rest of them. I don't like any of them; my feelings range from dislike to indifference. It's weird, but it kind of works. 7 Link to comment
Kris117 August 12, 2015 Share August 12, 2015 I don't hate Shelli at all, but not campaining or at least feeling people out? Dumb. On Monday, Vanessa looked like a goner, but Shelli outplayed her at bad campaining. But it has been an amazing week to watch what's going on inside the house. After the "protect the women" comment, Austin is back on my bad side. He tried his hardest to screw up Vanessa's chance, but she just dropped an information bomb on James. It's a toss up. He's probably going to regret giving her hope so early because she won't stop talking now! ETA: He seems stuck on Becky allegedly calling him a sexist right now. What, my precious little Austin a sexist? It can't be! He hasn't a sexist bone in his body. Above the hairline, that is. Cutty August 12, 2015 Share August 12, 2015 I can't feel too bad for Becky and Johnny Mac. Instead of trying to shore up the vote, they wanted to continue riding the middle between the two trios. Becky in particular would have been good with all three groups. In his talk with Shelli on Monday Johnny Mac wanted to broker peace with James' group, but nothing ever came of it. This is my problem with JMac (and Becky)... they aren't proactive. You need to anticipate things before they happen. Becky wanted to continue playing with both groups, the Goblins but then keep JMac/Shelli on the side. Also, her sloppy rat play from last week caught up with her. Becky even she was telling the truth that Austwins and Vanessa are allied, Meg said no. Reminded me how no one believed Audrey about Sleeper Cell. When you burn your bridges in this game, no one will believe a word you say anymore. I still can't believe Meg doesn't see that Vanessa is aligned with the Austwins. I mean, that is just silliness. Reminded me how no one believed Audrey about Sleeper Cell. When you burn your bridges in this game, no one will believe a word you say anymore. It came back to bite ADC when it was Audrey and it will with Becky, too. I can't really blame either Becky or ADC for this. They're all trying to play the game for themselves (well James and Becky are, Meg and Jackie are little less game-y) and that's fine. I think they're being short-sighted though. They need each other. I think Becky knows this, but ADC doesn't really get it. But yea, Becky's rat game is probably the biggest reason for this. I think she had the right idea with her game early on, but she got too enamored with Clay/Shelli and she gave them way too much info while giving ADC none. And then she 'came clean' without telling them everything, which just makes it worse really. She should've said nothing or everything. Every player in the game has made some good choices and some big mistakes. I love it! It makes the game much more interesting. Edited August 12, 2015 by peachmangosteen 5 Link to comment
Stinamaia August 12, 2015 Share August 12, 2015 (edited) Hamsters, Hamsters. I leave you alone for one night and what do you do? The biggest lie ever told is Vanessa telling Shelli that Shelli's name would never come out of her mouth. And poor silly, shirt seeking Shelli fell for it. I hope someone tells her before she is evicted so that if she comes back, she's not aligned again with Vanessa. Also, I cannot understand her refusal to talk to James. John told her to do it, and she still didn't. Also, blaming James for Clay being out of the house is ridiculous since Shelli agreed to let Clay sacrifice his game for her. You know, I sort of thought the relationship would t last because of the age difference, but I'm beginning to think Clay is more mature than Shelli . And another thing that makes me mad at Shelli? That stupid "I" ending that makes me have to go back and redact my posts. I don't really like or really dislike any of these characters. I guess my preference is John, James, Meg, Jackie, Julia, Steve, Becky, Shelli/Vanessa, Liz, Austin. Austin dangles just above the seriously dislike line. Jackie, Julia, and Steve are sort of all mushed together. Edited August 12, 2015 by Stinamaia 2 Link to comment
Lady Calypso August 12, 2015 Share August 12, 2015 So....Vanessa has a chance at staying? I mean, she could actually leave Thursday, but it might not be by Becky's hand? Glorious. I literally lost hope this week because I genuinely want Vanessa to win (more than anyone else on this season, anyway) so I thought her game was 100% screwed. If she does make it through, especially after being the 100% target not even two days ago, then I will be rooting for her for the rest of the game. Steve....yeah, he's a nice guy and I like him as a person, but I'd be ok if he goes for the DE. I'd rather it be Austin or Becky, to be honest, but I'm ok if it's Steve. 3 Link to comment
