Maci leaves the show? Bitch please, that's all idle threats. She's just as thirsty as the rest of them, and with baby #2 coming she can't say she doesn't need the money.

Just another lame plot device. Cry wolf, and watch everyone beg and plead and placate with her so she doesn't go. Big yawn.

This kind of 'plot' doesn't work well when most of the regular watchers already know how it turns out, months in advance, from the gossip/ 'fan' websites. Or maybe the idea is to giggle at the spectacle of Maci quitting her 'quitting'.

I know the producers are limited by what their contracts say, but I really wish they'd call these girls' bluffs when they throw their little tantrums. If Maci wants to say she's quitting the show (which I kind of doubt she can legally do halfway through filming), I wish they'd just tell her okay and that they'll mail her the last check (or if she only gets one paycheck, that they'll prorate the amount) and pack up and walk away.

What, Maci, are you jealous that Farrah is stealing your thunder? That you're not going to be the only size 2 with a boob job on the cast anymore?

  • Love 9

I mean, they dont even interact!!!

This isnt like a Housewives show where the women are forced to dinner or vacation together.  Maci just sounds like Tyler to me with all the puffing up of the chest, trying to sound important.  Sit down and shut your pie hole.

I know. I'm sure Maci is going to try and claim that she's embarrassed to be associated with a porn star, but really, every single participant on this show should be embarrassed by their behavior at one point or another, and every participant has given up any rights to claim moral high ground here.

I think the issue is, the girls don't like Farrah, and wanted to see her get her comeuppance by being excluded from the show (which, from what I can tell really did hurt her feelings). I can certainly understand that, because I think Farrah is a terrible person and I can't even enjoy her for entertainment value because her voice just drives me nuts, but even if Maci were completely honest about her beef with Farrah, I find it rather uppity to flounce off because production is doing something she wishes they wouldn't. She's a friggin cog in the wheel- she's not running the show.

I agree. As soon as she tells them its over and they can leave now, I would LOVE it if they just said "Ok bye, have a nice life" and leave.

It would take about 2.2 seconds before she's running after them begging them to stay.

I'll never understand how an abusive druggie ex con is somehow better than somebody who did legal porn.

Yeah Farrah is a bitch but so is Amber. It just makes no sense to me.

I can just imagine Taylor in the background as Maci is making her empty threats of leaving.

"Whoa, whoa, whoa!! What's this double trap? First, the PCOS was bullshit and now you're quitting the gravy train??"

Yeah, that guy really got a 6 for 9.

LOL

I'd love to hear him tell her, "I'm outta here!"

Farrah struggles with her mom? Oh lord, give me a fucking break. That has been played out season after season. Nothing new here except those nasty-ass butt implants.

  • Love 3

Oh I see now. Having Farrah back messes up Maci's brand. Maci has a brand. Right...The safe sex but not really brand.

I noticed when Maci said she didn't need to talk her decision over with Taylor because they were in agreement, Taylor ain't say shit. Your face told on you Taylor. Baby on the way and Maci quitting her one true check cause she's SO above it all.

You really stepped in it didn't ya buddy?

Maci needs to get over herself.  Viewed out of context, I could kind of understand her point.  I can see why she would be uncomfortable with having one scene of her playing baseball with her child and then the next scene cuts to Farrah selling blow-up dolls or whatever she does.  However, in context, I can’t take Maci seriously given that she’s happily signed on for this trashy reality show for over half a decade.  It’s a little late to be drawing lines in the sand.  Did the show live up to her moral standards when Amber was getting high and beating Gary’s face in?

Oh Amber.  I love the reasons she gave for why this relationship is better than the one with Gary: The new boyfriend is way older than her, and they have more in common because he’s an ex-addict.  Yes, Amber.  Clearly that’s the recipe for success.  The guy seems creepy too.  Did he really announce he was moving in with Amber by casually mentioning he gave up his apartment?  Like with Kristina, I have to assume that there’s something wrong this guy if he’s willing to give up everything to wade into this mess.

Farrah also had some great words of wisdom.  She said plastic surgery goes overboard when you can no longer afford it.  I would say plastic surgery also goes overboard when you start looking like an alien, but I guess Farrah hasn’t learned that part.

The only person who garnered my sympathy this week was Catelynn.  I’ve never been pregnant, but I imagine it’s difficult to eat well on top of everything else there is to deal with.  It’s probably doubly hard for Cate because she never really figured out healthy habits before pregnancy, and she has douchey Tyler looking over her shoulder all the time.  I felt bad watching her look like a sad puppy the whole episode, but seeing her at the end with the new baby was sweet.

Overall, my main takeaway from the episode is God bless that poor producer who has to play best friend/therapist to Amber, Farrah, and apparently Deb.

  • Love 7

OMG!!!!!! As a mother of 5 & 7 year old children, I would NEVER discuss my love life in front of my children!!! I'm single too!! I'm floored at Farrah's ignorance and the effect she is having on her child!! This is NOT normal, Farrah is NOT normAl. I'm so pissed I had to write during a commercial break lol

Whoa, let's be real. That's the least offensive parenting move ANY of them have made, especially Farrah. Discussing her love life is effecting her child? What about marketing molds of her asshole, shooting a porno trilogy, endless strip club appearances and horrifying face-disfiguring plastic surgeries? Pretty sure these offenses top a 30 second convo about praying God finds Farrah a husband.....

  • Love 6

Does anyone else find it weird how Maci is on the aftershow talking about about whether or not she's actually going to leave the show, when this was clearly filmed months after the episode?  If they're going to break the fourth wall on the show, they may as well do it everywhere.

Having Farrah back reminds me how much I didn't miss her.  Watching her interact with her family is just agonizing, and I feel bad for Sophia.

Amber's new guy seems like... a mature adult!?  (All they've had to do all along is find someone almost twenty years older!)  I'll reserve judgment for a few weeks just in case he ends up being an asshole, but he seems level-headed and able to help her deal with Gary's bullshit.

  • Love 2

Who knew I was capable of feeling the tiniest smidge of sympathy for Farrah? Well, I do. Her parents are horrible people. She's an adult, it her fault for keeping them around and funding them. However, nobody should have rotten parents like that. Just as no parent should have a child as awful as her. I really loathe that whole family.

Sofia is really unfortunate looking. Remarkably, with that disaster for a mother, she seems quite sweet.

Amber's new bf is ugly with the grossest teeth I've ever seen. He seems to be playing a bit of a father figure, which could be beneficial for Amber, depending on how long he is around.

Is Amber really introducing Leah to guys she's been with for just two weeks???

Based on many factors, I predict Leah will be single and pregnant (and uneducated) by the year 2025.

I'm 10 minutes into the replay (missed it earlier tonight), and the only things I've learned are that

  1. Maci is a whiny fucking baby.  Shut the fuck up.
  2. The producers are gutless.  Remind her again that she's nothing without this show, then ask her if she's really ready to walk.  And if she says yes again, then leave and never air the footage you already shot of her.  My god, she's a stupid asshole.
  • Love 8

Another episode where I question myself for watching. I compare it to a train wreck. You shouldn't stop and stare and yet all you can do is stop and stare at the wreck. I didn't pay complete attention as I'm working on some work projects but here are my thoughts:

Could not stop laughing when Catelynn called Maci a diva when they were breaking the news about Farrah. Congratulations on the beautiful baby. I'm thankful they didn't make diabetes out to be the worst thing ever. I have had type 1 for 25 years -- it can be a pain in the ass but it isn't always the worst thing ever. I assume Catelynn ended up without type 2 which good deal. The more I watch this season, she seems pretty level headed for the most part and hoping for the best for her.

I am going to have nightmares from how Farrah's mom was looking in the closet. So shiny! Why in the world does Farrah's mom need to ask Farrah for money to get a facelift? Both of those ladies are obviously developing an addiction to plastic surgery. Perhaps we'll see them on Botched sooner or later. And she is BFFs with her neighbor? Is she looking to replace her mom?

I did not feel comfortable around Amber's boyfriend and I wasn't even in the same room as him. They met on "Twittah." Sure, I know plenty of people who have met their spouses on social media (and are still going strong and madly in love) but in this case, I have the impression he searched her out for a specific purpose. Also, he got rid of his apartment with plans apparently to move in with Amber without discussing it with her? The hell? It just gives me a not so great vibe. And I'm not an Amber fan but....run Amber, run! I did appreciate the guy talking with Gary and telling him to knock it off with picking at Amber. It definitely needed to be said. Not so sure if it go through Gary's thick head.

Oh Maci. I have no words. She is having major stink face on the after show discussing Farrah coming back.

  • Love 3

•• I don't like that Farrah is back & to be honest, it really has nothing to do with her sex tape. Everyone makes mistakes. (But I do get where Maci is coming from & I don't blame her for being mad.) learned from that. My problem is the way he treats people. One minute she's telling someone off and the next minute she's praying. I loved the 3 girls being on there as that gave them each more film time. Farrah's parents aren't that bad- I did see her mom helping around the house.

If she didn't want to give her Mom the money for the facelift, why did she? Just to bitch and complain about it? Ugh!

(This may be kind of mean- but does Farrah not kinda remind anyone of a Simpsons character because of that reaction to the lip implants?)

I REALLY hope to see Maci back.

•• I'm THRILLED for Amber- though 6 months is a short time to move in with someone. The age is a little much- but I loved the way he talked to Gary and treated Leah. She's happy and that's what matters.

•• I'm also THRILLED that Catelynn & Ty are finally parents!!! They'll be great parents and they're so cute together.

It's on again & I just saw the part where Farrah & her Dad are in that restaurant and she said something like, "Everyone's against her."

WONDER WHY??

Wow. I disagree with almost all of this, but that's why we're here.

Maci can stay gone. She brings nothing to the show.

Amber letting a guy ( an ex addict) move in after only 6 months? With a young daughter to protect? Not a good look at all.

Cate and Tyler as a cute couple? Half the time Tyler looks like he's ready to chew his foot off to get away from Catelyn. I'm curious to see how many more excuses he can come up with to avoid marrying her.

Also keeping in mind how he made a big production of proposing to her on prom night (if I remember correctly). Makes me think MTV put him upto it

  • Love 1

Sophia favors Debra, which is unfortunate. Debra looks crazier than ever. Did Farrah just wander around the neighborhood ringing doorbells and looking for people to film with? I agree that I thought Deb and Michael had plenty of their own money.

Lol at Maci quitting the show.

Yikes! Ambers boyfriend and the way they met squicks me out. Plus who is he to get involved with Gary and Leah?

Drunk Ryan still hot.

I wish poor Nova all the best.

He's an EX-addict & she is too. It's not like he's bringing drugs into the house & doing them around Leah. If he wasn't an addict, would you feel the same? Maybe it's a little soon for him to move in- I agree with that. But it's her life.

I love Maci- I don't know why. I just think she's good for other young single mom's to see. She's going to school and has a good job and is supporting her and her son. She gives other girls hope that they can do the same. That may not make for exciting TV- but it's reality.

I don't know when Ty is trying to get away from Catelynn. I don't think it's that he doesn't want to marry her. He doesn't want to get married at a courthouse. He says he wants a big wedding for Cate- but I don't think that's necessarily true. I think HE wants the big wedding. He's kinda showy like that.

Then he & Cate was talking about her weight after the baby- and he says that she'll be beautiful no matter what. If that isn't cute, I dunno what is!

I knew people weren't gonna agree with me- I was gonna put that at the end of my post. People judge Amber, Maci, & Cate & Ty a lot for the decisions they've made/make. I'm not trying to e rude- but if you had camera's capturing every moment of your life from the age of 15-16 till 20 something- I'm sure there would be a few things you'd regret. There are many things I'd regret!

  • Love 1

He's an EX-addict & she is too.

There is no such thing as an EX addict.

The only reason Amber got clean was because of prison and she hasn't been clean that long.

Getting clean is the easy part, its staying clean that's a bitch.

Nobody is ever an ex addict. Once an addict always an addict.

I frankly haven't seen any change in Amber at all.

Didn't MTV make the decision to do another season of the show, but without Farrah? Their thinking was that the show is supposed to be about teaching young people responsibility re: safe sex, so showing Farrah's path from teen mom to porn star and porn marketing isn't exactly in line with the show's message. At least that's what they said. So I feel like they used Maci's reaction as a way to explain why they backtracked, and in doing so, they really threw her under the bus.

I'm not really clear on Maci's reasoning, and then there's the whole issue of her hypocrisy. She is, after all, pregnant with baby #2 after having unprotected sex with a new boyfriend. But the producers used her indignation as a way to tell the audience that they decided to give Farrah a second chance, without really explaining why they made the decision in the first place. I think that was unfair. Plus, there's the whole issue of Farrah not thinking that she did anything wrong. She said she's proud of her house, her car, her butt molds, her "erotic trilogy" of books... Second chance?

  • Love 3

I used to really like Maci, I still think she's a good mom, in my opinion she and my girl Chelsea are the best moms of the whole bunch. She adores her son and really seems to enjoy being a mommy.

My opinion has changed and I can't really explain why. It has nothing to do with her pregnancy and not being married (its friggin 2015). I just can't pinpoint why I no longer like her. I think its her snooty attitude. She seems to have an air of superiority that I've never seen in her before.

Oh well. I still have Chelsea.

Oh my.

There are many reasons why this is not a good thing. As Maharincess noted above, there is no such thing as an "ex-addict". Al-Anon teaches this, as well as any group that helps addicts and those who are dealing with addicts.

Amber has not been sober and clean that long. She is also NOT in any post-therapy or counseling. She is not doing anything in her life but sitting on the couch and bitching about Gary.  Addicts need to adjust to life and make sure they are not falling into the same patterns as before. Amber is not in school, she is not working, she has nothing going on in her life. She will likely relapse if she doesn't get herself into something constructive. Her judgment is not up to par as she seems to be doing the same thing as she did before when it came to meeting guys. This guy just dumped his apartment and expects to live with Amber, whom she barely knows? I post "barely" because they had a relationship on-line.

I haven't even touched upon the possibility that this guy may be a perv. I have mentioned it before and I will post it again - these single mothers bring in these guys around their children and never seem to think of the possibilities that they may be exposing their children to an abuser. The same holds for the guys. Don't these people read the news or watch the news?

Well, she doesn't have to be married. I'd rather a person know who they are marrying before they say "I do". But, bringing a baby into that when they haven't even lived together that long? I can't. Maci thought she knew Ryan, but it wasn't until she lived with him that she knew what he was all about. How about living with someone for at least a year before becoming pregnant on purpose?

I do believe I have caught the crushing syndrome on Ryan's dad tonight.

I wanted to give him a huge hug when he pointed out to Ryan that ALL of the players in this train wreck had made poor decisions in their lives, not just Farrah.

And then I wanted to give him an even bigger hug when he said Ryan's head was as hard as the table in front of him.

Nicely played, Mr. Ryan's Dad.  Very nicely.

So I'm going to gather that, amongst all of the other apparent mental instability contained at Casa Crazy Abraham, Deb has also now hit her midlife crisis with both feet running like an Olympian.

Seriously...what's with the new wardrobe and wanting your daughter to drop $8K on a liquid face lift?

Deb, take a look in the mirror.  You're already stretched thin and shiny as a freshly-shed reptile...You do NOT need yet another procedure at this time.

Of course, maybe she wants to make sure she can get that quick $8K from Farrah before the MTV money boat capsizes.

Amber hasn't changed a bit.  Still dragging strange men around her daughter without even knowing them.  I'm guessing she never even did a cursory background check on this dude before letting him around darling little Leah.  Because, one thing I've learned from this show, the kid's safety is frequently not exactly the priority with these women.  Looks like he's making his move, too, before that MTV money boat sinks like the Titanic.

Anyone else remember some random loser Amber brought home who was oh-so-eager to change Leah's diaper?  That guy was a total creeper.  I think she picked him up at Walmart.

And Maci?  Hit the road, you judgmental bitch.  Tipping my hat once again to Mr. Ryan's Dad, you ALL made some piss poor decisions in the past.

Hell, I haven't liked your ass since you uprooted sweet little Bentley from both sets of grandparents so you could chase the unintelligible Kyle across the state line hoping to coerce him into procreating with you and marrying you.  Talking about the best interests of your child when you've made some pretty squirrely decisions on your own is comical.  Or, would be comical if a small child wasn't involved in your manhunts.

And Catelyn?  Keep a close eye on Tyler.  He may not be (as far as the viewers know) a drinker or substance abuser, but the dude seems to be an apple that didn't roll too goddamned far from his paternal tree.  As happy as you are to have NuvaRing, I still don't think you should hold your breath waiting for Tyler to marry you.

And quite frankly you might be better off if he doesn't.

Damn, I can't wait for Teen Mom 2 to start a new season.  Nothing seems to change much with this crew, unfortunately.

Going to reference Brandi Glanville here. To these damn people on this show, pluck down $9.99 and get a background check on these potential partners! Damnit!!
