He's home but still very confused.  They ruled out mini stroke and test came back normal.  They are changing how meds are being given for pain and hoping it was a reaction to the meds.  Not sure but hopefully he will recover soon.  Thanks for the prayers.  I'm hopeful that he will turn the corner soon.

So I actually thought this thread was about the impala, Baby.

Baby is a cool car and is clearly as important to Supernatural as the Tardis is to Dr. Who.

Also, I would love to join a Snarky Facebook group to talk about Supernatural. Someone please let me know if this becomes a reality.

Back in the day on TWOP she did have her own thread. We called her Metallicar back then. Such a badass car!

I’m rewatching Supernatural on Amazon prime because I can’t be bothered to put disks in and out, but I just want to point out that some scenes are cut on Amazon.

i signed up for The Boys but I honestly just cannot get into it. I’ve struggled through season one, season two is another struggle. I guess it’s not my cup of tea, it just all seems so silly. But that’s just me. I’m not a fantasy or superhero fan. Not at all.  I’ll watch for Jensen but hope he goes onto something else after season three.

Has anyone watched those Simplified Supernatural Timeline videos on YouTube?

I didn't know they existed, but I just watched them. My take-away is mixed feelings. He got some facts wrong, but those were minor. I thought he skipped some important scenes/episodes, and focused on others that I considered less important. But my biggest *what?* was that he didn't start where the viewer did and then gradually learn about things along the way. Rather, he literally started at the beginning of the universe, thus revealing many things we didn't learn until several seasons later. I didn't think that was a good choice, but all in all, not too bad.

Well it is supposed to be a timeline.

What jumped out at me was how the various story themes speeded up as the seasons went by. By the time we arrived at the final seasons nothing meant anything anymore. How could there be suspense? Perilous dire situations were soon fixed by the boys just in time for the next perilous dire situation. No Big Bad stuck around for long before being ganked. They really sucked at building suspense by the end.

Since many has seen me asking for prayers for my dad, I thought I would share that he has left this world.  He's out of pain.  He died on Memorial day so it's almost been a month.  He loved flying and fishing, so I believe he is doing both.

I'm glad I got to spend some time with him before he passed on.

@7kstar, my heart hurts for you, but I admire your strength.  I wish you peace.

While re-watching S6 Family Matters yesterday for the umpteenth time, I caught a small nugget that made my day.  I am also a huge Seinfeld nerd, cannot pass up a rerun no matter what. So when Sam and Dean walk into the Campbell's badly lit (why is it so dark?) ...whatever the place is, the outer offices to their Alpha jail, Christian hugs Sam,  then snubs Dean with a nod and mutters his name.  Dean says  "Newman."  I laughed so hard and had to watch it twice.  Sigh.

It’s interesting how many people I run into who have now watched Supernatural and are aware of the show.  I think being stuck in lockdown awakened a new generation to the series.  Two young girls (teens) were walking together in my local Mall both wearing the Supernatural tee shirt… not exactly ‘ out in the wild’, but a bit surprising.  I was quite taken aback to be honest. (I would’ve said something, but I’m old enough to be their mother).

But it made my day 😊

My daughter and I noticed the same thing happening at the Chicago convention way before Covid lockdown. In fact, because they seemed to think it was fine to yell out during the panels, we decided to call it a day after attending over eight years of conventions. Young people have a different view of these events, it seems.
