The new ep airing tonight is on at 6 PM Central which caught me by surprise.  Don't remember if it ran at 7 or 8 Central before, but nothing comes on at 6 PM!

Check your local times.

It's 7:00 Eastern/Pacific, so, yes, 6:00 Central. As far as "nothing comes on at 6 PM," of course there's 60 Minutes and America's Funniest Videos.

I'm very excited to see this tonight (and the three in the following weeks). My DVR obediently set it up, plus one of the TV critics I follow tweeted a reminder.

I hope some other outlet picks it up, like Netflix.

I thought this was a great episode,  especially for Derrick and the Sarge, but really everyone.

"Go ahead and leave the plate" (of toothpaste oreos)

The portapotty yard had to be CGI.  "It's like Satan's easy bake oven."

It's a shame they weren't given enough of a chance with this show.

Yeah, that was a great line. I also wondered if the port-a-potties were CGI'd.

I was just sitting here grinning thruout the ep. I've missed this show.

I loved Randy's excitement over the platoon flag, and then when he came in and found it gone… Poor Randy.

I can't remember the character names, but I liked that one gal whose face was on the flag, saying, "I look good. I need my own country." I also loved the other gal having her hands superglued to her face -- Home-Alone face. And the guy duct-taped to the wall.

I really wanted them to win the prank war against Jill, but it wasn't meant to be.

"You can't cover your junk with excuses."

Sgt Major making his way back to base was terrific.

Satan's Easy-Bake - ha!

The fact that this show can take some extremely juvenile stuff and make me snarffle is awesome.  At some point in your maturity, a guy getting hit in the junk should not be funny and, to my credit, it normally isn't.  But Enlisted turns it to something funny.

I think my favorite joke from this episode was the cutaway from Sgt. Major spying something in the trees and saying "I think it's time for lunch" to him at a diner. Such a simple joke, but so, so hilarious.

The best part of that was his sheer joy when he says "I think I'll have breakfast for dinner." Never underestimate the joy pancakes can bring a man.

And now we meet Schneeberger... way to go, Fox. *shakes head* I wonder, if there's another episode where we see why he and Pete butt heads because they barely interacted; this was about Schneeberger and Cody clashing. Cody's plot wasn't all that exciting to me but it was fun to see him get back in the field (and be so happy about it).

Derrick losing his shit because of the pube-stache was amazing. Even before that, when he looked into the distance and Chubowski said, "should we follow you to your gift?" That's what I love! That, the opening with Randy screaming, Chubowski's, "her décolletage?". This show, y'all.

However, what I missed was the emotional element. There was a moment where they could have gone there, with Jill's deceased boyfriend (something I'm really hoping we'll get to hear about in one of these last episodes), but instead we got them all looking like heartless jerks and her owning them yet again. Speaking of, this didn't really seem like a prank war so much as a, "Jill's a ruthless little shit," show. She was doing way too much (slipping them drugs, shaving Randy?), and considering that Pete's group never got her back, the whole thing came off like bullying rather than a well-loved tradition.

My wife laughed her head off at the guys getting slapped in the junk. And in a house where she is the only female to 3 males that is scary, lol.

It did seem bad that Jill won every round. Even if the guys got a little on her about the dead bf thing.

Other highlights for me were: Randy and his lost flag.

Specialist Chubowski and wanting the toothpaste filled(wonder if it was mint)oreo cookies.

Private Gumble duct taped to the wall and "I'll wait here" after their meeting in his room.

Private Parks glued home alone look.

Private Robinsons cat face and her face on the flag. She also had to tell Parks that they weren't Jill's friends anymore.

Derricks Randy shavings stache.

Randy and his clean cut feelings. My wife said, just wait for that stubble to come back.

Private Dobkiss and his double eyes.

They all work well together and the 3 are like brothers.

Sgt. Major Cody using the port-a-potty and being taken to Satans easy bake oven and cutting himself out was funny. Then had to use his survival skills to get back.

The just meeting 2nd Lt. Tyson Schneeberger does throw things off. Nice out of order show. But maybe the ending with him using the port-a-potty and being taken away made him not like Pete?

I still wish this show got a 24th hour reprieve like "Unforgettable" did on CBS last season.

Cody pushes Pete to maintain insanely high standards among the Rear D in anticipation of a general's visit; at the same time, Randy ends up winning Jill's respect when the two are paired together.

I watched this episode with a bit of sadness.  i think this is the one cancellation that really hurt.   Enlisted is the only show where i have a silly grin on my face through the entire episode.

The producer is working hard, hitting all the podcast to get ratings up on the Sunday last four. Explaining that much of the built in audience can't have Nielson boxes because of DOD rules. Even going to an animated series, should a streaming service not pick up the live action show like Star Trek did before The Motion Picture was made

Not as good as the last one, but still good. Some highlights:

Do I have to come down there and put my fake foot in your real butt.

My inspiration was a pimp that was a mermaid.  What?  I think I captured that.
(Pete throws  fur coat in trash can.)
Man, you owe me six dollars.

I feel like I'm in Annie.

How many knobs do I got to polish?

The human Donkey Kong

Sgt. Perez eating all  the Candy.

I love this show - even if an ep is not-quite-as-good as a prior one, it still pretty much beats 99% of what else is on tv.

Derrick being a member of Soup Enthusiast cracked me up and was totally unexpected, so good job Show!

Randy being the ape in a live action Donkey Kong is all kinds of funny.

I was familiar with Parker Young (Randy) from Suburgatory, but unfamiliar with the other two brothers other than "he's kinda familiar".  Lead me to check out The Finder (on Netflix) with Geoff Stults which, based on 1 ep, was amusing.

Well, I loved it. The best part was the live Donkey Kong game. So inspired, silly, and fun. BTW, I learned from Sepinwall's column that Parker Young had never heard of Donkey Kong OR Billy Cosby. Kids these days.

Loved when Pete allows Derrick to keep the hotplate, Derrick says, "I'm going to hug you," and is surprised himself. Then, of course, Randy wants to join in on the hug, too, but Pete keeps pushing him away. Oh, and it was also great when Pete wakes them up, and before you know it, Randy has made his bunk.

Schneeberger is such a douche, as well as a deuce, but the character is hilarious.

I think my second favorite moment is when Perez turns and grins at Randy after the general has spoken with her. Of course I loved when she touched Randy's hand, and he says, "Oh no. Emotions."

@DeLurker I thought The Finder was a great show.

Thought it was a great episode. I knew Derrick had done something like that to get back at Pete. I am glad after Schneeberger took General Murray in the copter that he saw the mowing and he had taken all the credit.

All the other highlights I can only agree with all the other posters here. So you will see many repeats.

Sgt. Major Cody getting on Pete about his lack of enthusiasm about the inspecting coming. "Do I have to come down there and put my fake foot in your real butt??!" Then when he talked Pete and the Jill into doing the jobs for him, he said they were so easy.

Randy jumping out of bed when Pete woke them for inspection and he was ready. Derrick slowly getting out of bed.

We had the hot plate incident and all the rest "dressing down" after Derrick told therm about Chill Pete.

Pete grabbing Private Parks earrings and she saying, "ohhh no they aren't clip ons, ok they're clip ons."

Specialist Chubowski's pipe to make him feel better and his girdle. Then having Parks help him tighten it up. Also his knob polishing question.

Private Robinson's nails and her mermaid pimp fur coat. Pete owing her 6 bucks for it.

Sgt. Major Cody having his fit in the Humvee, "Betty Lou". I had thought maybe they would leave it all graffitied up and 2nd Lt. Tyson Sneeberger would have it repainted. But that is what they wanted for the general's vehicle.

Pete telling the troops that they aren't supposed to play Donkey Kong on the satellite screen. Then having it look like Mario is jumping on Pete's head.

The kid in the store wanting to join the Army when he saw all the snacks in the cart.

Later Randy protecting the snacks from the "Mario's" as he played the Donkey Kong.

But I was surprised that Jill had snuck in and ate all the treats. But Randy had a stash. Then Jill being all happy when she gave 2 snacks to the General.

Also the Annie comment when Pete wanted the floor clean enough to eat off. Then saying he still taste floor.

Cody trying so hard to make everything perfect for the inspection. Then Pete telling him that maybe his mentor let him down, but his hasn't.

Many other great one liners and jokes.

I thought this was a stronger episode than the last couple (which I did enjoy).

So much good stuff as listed above plus:

A Bad/Good Funny Cosby Impersonation

"Now enjoy some Anita Baker..."

"Why are you throwing barrels, Randy?"

Gonna miss this show.

Randy and Pete partake in Sgt. Major Cody's Army Ranger trials, reigniting their intense competition over everything. Things take a turn when Jill joins the trial and both brothers think they're in love with her. Meanwhile, Derrick feels emasculated by Erin's ex, and enlists the platoon to make him seem more capable of manly tasks than he really is.

This is one of my favorite eps. Randy getting so flustered around Jill, and then passing it onto Pete was hilarious. Man, just the way Pete stared blankly at Jill was cracking me up. "She blew snot on the ground and it gave me the feelings."

Randy: We had this moment that the angels are still talking about at the watercoolers in heaven.

Just every single thing about them was fantastic. The flashbacks to their mini-contests (with Derrick always saying, "Idiots") were so good. Randy and Pete trying to carry each other at the same time was brilliant.

I also enjoyed Derrick's story with his girlfriend, though I figured out before he did that the son was sabotaging things in order to get his dad to come over. Still, the other soldiers coming over to fix things was very funny. "I have small hands and terrifying dreams."

I'll have to watch again. This was so good and hilarious.

The Hill brothers celebrate Pete's one year anniversary of almost dying in Afghanistan, otherwise known as his "Alive Day." After the funding has been cut for the annual ball, which was going to honor Major Cody, Pete enlists the platoon to create their own ball to honor him.

Series Finale.

*Sob* Don't mind me, I'll be sitting behind a locked door in my dress uniform eating 40 lbs of contraband candy.

Been watching on Hulu.

Thought it was a good episode. Glad it fit in order so Randy told about liking Jill and her touching his hand. Then Randy getting Pete to see he liked her too. But a couple other episodes(I know there were out of order) shows he had feelings for her. Liked the snot talk, and Cody telling the bros to get straightened out. Then after the wrestling, they helped Perez get to Ranger. Then ran when she was done, lol

With Derrick, I did also figure the GF Erin's son was behind the clogs. I can see why Derrick was worried. Erin was nice to him. I figured she would know about his helpers.

Having the team come and help him was cool. Missed Chubowski. Seems when he's away Private Ruiz is there.

Great ep. I'm going to miss this show. Hopefully it'll be picked up somewhere else.

Loved Randy giving Sgt Major Cody the massages. Heck, everything about Randy is great. "Remember your story about how you lost your foot? Well now I have a story about how I lost your foot." And then Randy presenting Cody with a mannequin foot cracked me up.

Of course it would be Randy who would catch Cody as he fell, and do an Officer-and-a-Gentleman.

I loved that Perez's Cody toast wasn't all that hot. She's so perfect otherwise, so it's great to see when she has failings.

I also loved the bit at the beginning where Derrick is telling Erin that he doesn't think they should go to the ball together. That whole sequence was hilarious.

This has been such a wonderful show, and anyone who doesn't agree can eat a bag of glass.

I'm not crying, you're crying!

I thought that was a good finale. I'm so glad they were able to wrap it up nicely (I've dealt with too many season finales that ended up being series finales, if you know what I mean). The humor/emotion ratio was great in the first half, but it was all emotion in the second half, so I found the few bits of humor a little unnecessary. I was happy to cry my little eyes out, lol.

There was no place for it but I did wonder where Pete and Randy were re: their crush on Jill. Derrick's Mr. T impression was hilarious, and as usual, Randy was a complete crack up. Loved Cody's face when he saw the ball and the beach scenes were just fantastic, though they did feel like they belonged on another show. Wasn't a fan of the Gumble/Robinson kiss, just felt like some sort of movie trope... which perhaps was the point. Meh, I just didn't care for it.

I know I shouldn't get my hopes up but I really hope that this show can find another network. It's just too good to go like this.

On the one hand, I love this little show and want it to find new life somewhere.  On the other hand, I love this little show and I can't imagine a better ending than this.  On my other hand, I think that brings me back to my left hand, I've thought that about each season finale for Parks & Rec, and, now I'm just slapping myself as my right hand reminds my left hand that P&R just gets better with each finale.

In sum, so many emotions.  If it is done, it was done well and I'm glad I got to see it. If it stays, I believe it will be done well going forward.

Good interview, John. Very informative.

If we had to have an ending, that was a damn good one! I also hope another network picks it up, it's too good to just march off into the sunset. Fingers crossed.

When the soldiers went into the water, my thought was on their shiny buttons, badges and medals. Imagine the nasty stuff salt water can do to their luster. Especially are the medals since full-size medals can not be bought at the PX.

Okay, fine! I am crying. But you are too, and you know it!

I was done for by the time we got to the slow salute at the surprise ball. One of the best things about this show is how good the runners are at knowing when to cut the treacle and knowing when to let it stand; allowing the moment of the salute to play out in full was perfect, and the pace of the scene on the beach, with surprise Lori Loughlin and Randy getting naked, was perfect as well. It was a beautiful season/series finale. In every interview I read about this show, Kevin Biegel's pride in it and affection for it just shone through. I hope all the cast and crew share that sentiment; they really deserve to feel good about what they've done here.

Also, "The Hill Are Alive!"

He should be proud, they all should. I haven't cried that hard in a long time, partly because the ep was that good, and mostly because of the bittersweet realization that that is possibly the last time I shall see the rear detachment at Fort McGee. Yes, they are soldiers, dammit!

I NEED this show to get picked up by someone else. Hey, Amazon, you picked up Ripper Street, wanna do me a solid and snatch up Enlisted? Pretty please!!!!!

I'll have to rewatch this ep *I know, poor me* because, for some unknown reason, the whole second half was pretty blurry, must have had something in my eyes, stupid allergies, cause I'm totally allergic to great shows getting cancelled.

I really want a The Hill are Alive tee shirt.

As a former soldier, I kept thinking "OMG NO...you'll have to buy all that shit again!!".  As a person who loved this little show to death, I loved every second of it.

Since this is the last episode (hopefully for now?), I also want to give a HUGE shout-out to Ross Philips for exactly portraying that annoying Lieutenant that every Army unit has to deal with.  I got at least four other people to give this show a chance just by describing how perfectly he played that role.

Thought this episode was good, not thier best but a good one.
Derrick not wanting to join as he messed up in his relationship with Erin. Telling Pete his face was getting fatter and then being bundled up under the bed. My son said being in Florida those berricks had to have AC or he was roasting. Liked the Mr. T attempt. Liked it later too that Pete and Randy must have invited Erin to the Ball. The 2 making up and knowing her moving will be hard on them.
I liked that Sgt. Major Cody was trying to get the Platoon to see that the ball was in his honor and no one did. Randy keeping him busy with the massage and then after he dozed off went to have his suit drycleaned was nice. The funny part was putting his leg on the roof of the car and driving away, And his line about the lost leg. Then Randy bringing the maniken leg was funny, my wife said "ohoh" when Randy was looking in the shoe store. She thought he would get one in a high heel, lol.

The Ball was so nice. Sgt. Maj. Donald Cody and his daughter Britney dancing made me cry, it was so sweet. Then his leg bending and Randy being his officer and a gemntleman was cute, I could see it coming. But when Cody sat on the beach next to Pete and touched his left leg talking about it, my wife said" wait isn't his right leg the one he lost?" I said yes and he had touched the wrong leg.
Private Ruiz playing king was kinda strange, but the others were funny. Private Park wanting to make her ex Ted jealous with that hunk and then seeing he was hurt. Ran to him, was cute.
Specialist Chubowski wanting the date with Lori laughlin. I figured she would show, and she did as he was in the ocean, nice. She still looks good.
Private Robinsons and Private Gumbles "Dance Off" at times looked better then what the guys said about it. But the kiss really threw me off too.
Private Dobkiss and his Chocolate Milk and Whisky or whatever drink was a funny/wierd, Then he showed he had found Cody's  leg. I almost thought he would be drinking out of it.
I was surprised that Sgt. Jill Perez did a not so good speech. Also surprised she didn't dance with either Pete(my pick) or Randy.

But the beach meeting was realy nice. I do hope some how it is saved. It is a great series. But as said by others it is a good place to end it. I had more tears.

Same.  As a vet, I had the same reaction.  I was surprised how much I teared up at the end of this episode.  I was sitting there thinking how sad I am that I won't be seeing the Hill brothers again.  They really were perfect together!  I really don't understand why Geoff Stolts has such bad luck.  I have liked him in everything I've seen (probably have not seen ALL of his work, so he may have some stinkers, I don't know.  I didn't check IMdB).  I also HATED Piz on Veronica Mars but LOVE Chris Lowell and then there's Parker Young.  I came to love him on Suburgatory and now this.  I wish all of these guys, and the rest of the cast, the best of luck and REALLY hope this show gets picked up somewhere else!
