Think I'm in the minority, but I liked Kate's advice in the context of the soap. I like that she stressed -- "No, idiot, it won't ever be the same but that ship has sailed and now you have to live with it." Consequences, young Will, consequences. You can't escape them. But will he listen? Hell no, because honesty is paramount. Shrug. I say this as a woman who married her high school boyfriend and have been happily so for over 30 years -- maybe that disqualifies my opinion : )

I missed Monday and Tuesday so that Boston and the surrounding towns could stay apprised of the snowstorm raging outside our windows. Why do they do that?? I'm undecided about watching them online -- maybe a scene or two, like the one with Abigail and Victor?

So I guess that little scene between John and Paul was to foreshadow Paul's paternity?

If Sparkle is Jawn's father I guess that means once the truth comes out he'll try to have sex with Will again to prove how disloyal Will is.

Meh. My money is on him having sex with Sonny when that chestnut comes out. Paul will be distraught when he finds out Jawn is his daddy and Sonny will let go of his anger and comfort him.

I don't think Will is like his mother at all. I wonder if the people watching Will and Sonny now actually know what Sami was like in the nineties. The only trait I think they share is insecurity.

Sami had schemes that blew up in her face most of the time, but at least she was in the driving seat. Will has been content to be a passenger since Jan 2013 when he started needing his ass covered. Sami was spunky, scrappy, resourceful and resilient. Will has acted like Eeyore when he was under the gun, except when he worked for EJ.

I also don't think Will is just like Sami just because the both had a ONS while married. The circumstances and reasons for cheating in both cases are and were very different.

I think Will is a lot like Sami, minus the smarts and the drive. And her early charm. That's to say he has all of her bad qualities:an inflated sense of entitlement, petulance, that refusal to take responsibility/deflecting blame for his actions. Then there's my favorite; the nerve to act all offended when he gets called out on something.

AS, especially when she was younger, could pull that off, even though I thought she was only an average actor. GW...yeah, he can't make that work at all.

Can't believe I forgot about the blame-shifting. Maybe it's because it's Sami that he blames everything on? Anyway, some of those were on full display with Kate yesterday, especially when he got so offended about that spotlight question.

Both Lucas and Sami had charming personalities, if you could get past the bad schemes to see it. Why does Will have no charm??? Gosh, even Austin and Carrie had more personality than this.

Maybe Lucas and Sami seemed less dumb because there were actual end-goals to their actions. They methodically thought out what they wanted to whereas Will seems to have no clue why he does the things that he does.

I don't like Will, but I don't want to see Will tarred and feathered.  I want Will to have to face consequences.  Lucas can't take the fall for Will's cheating like he took the blame for Will shooting EJ.  Will can't blame his cheating on Sami.  Will wasn't being blackmailed by Nick or anyone else to have sex with Paul.  Will chose to cheat, and it is his responsibility to fix his mistake, or if it can't be fixed, to deal with the fall out.

They wasted CS/Jordan just like they have so many other characters on this show.  For the most part, I thought she was boring, but the last couple of months, Jordan's SL finally seemed to be going somewhere.  I don't understand why Jordan will leave, but Clyde and Ben will stay.  I like James Read, but Clyde is yet another skeavy rapist on a show that has to many already.

I think that one of the biggest differences between Sami and Will is that Sami lost all the time.  No one went around saying how great and wonderful Sami was, that she was just misunderstood, that she had been taken advantage of, etc.  Not only did Sami get blamed for what she did, she also got blamed for what other people did while they got a free pass for their actions.

I love Victor like the next person but what the hell is he doing going up to Theresa and taunting her about Brady?  That's just damn sad.

I think Sneasel out sneaseled himself by letting Kate do all of the talking for him and thank you GOD that Sonny asked him why Kate was talking for him.  Kate was treating Will like he was a naughty two year old and not a grown man who has to face the consequences of his actions.  And I really hope that when the big reveal happens, Sonny remembers this lame conversation and blasts Will for being so gutless.

Well I expected Will to lie because it's a soap. I'll go with it because I'm basically waiting to get to the next plot point . I hope Sonny remembers this conversation too because I was sitting there with the feeling that this is going to bite Will in the ass. I can't blame Kate because Will could still have confessed when she left. Will is well versed in how lies destroy relationships too. I still wish the wine conversation could have been unmarred, but I suppose Will and Sonny would just go back to folding baby clothes. I want to see Will faced with having sex with Sonny, just because I want to see what he would do. I don't think they've been having sex, and it looks like there won't be an opportunity because of the Reveal. Ugh Victor is a Brady and Melanie fan. I felt like there was too much going on in this episode. I guess Chad the likes Jordan. Victor going after Theresa was beneath him in my opinion, but I guess it's time to pile on until Kristen comes back. I guess Nicole is also going to get it since Ted is crazy. Serena looks like the cat that got the cream when she found that elephant.

Blaming Sami for everything was the thing that nailed it for me: Will is so his mother's child. They did it in different ways, but both Sami and Marlena had some spectacular parenting fails, though I believe that both love their children. It was a huge missed opportunity for the show not to use Will's resentment towards Sami to launch a real reconciliation story between Sami and Marlena.

I know a lot of you hate the pacing of the show these days, and so do I. But for the first time in a really long time, I'm liking the overall stories and curious enough as to how things will unfold to overlook the snail's pace. I do hope they wrap up something and give more time to Victor rediscovering his Kiriakis-ness (though I could have done without that lingering look at Maggie's picture after talking to his henchman the other day), though. Or just eliminate Abby and Ben's scenes all together. We get it; they have a lot of sex.

What the hell is with the elephant? Are there diamonds inside? The cure for ebola?

That stupid Dimeria doctor doesn't need to be seen again until it's time for the reveal.

You would think Nicole would have learned by now to better cover her tracks. If she hadn't been so sloppy and made it so obviously that she stole the files maybe she would have had time to verify Ted's claims. Or better yet, she could have attempted to see if Ted was credible before she even met with him.

Why does Victor waste his time harassing Theresa and acting like Abifail and raccoon Jen are good people? Not a good look for him.

I thought it was interesting today: when Serena got Eric to leave her alone with his art collection, he went to kiss her goodbye and she turned her face so that he ended up kissing more like the corner of her mouth/cheek. I have been wondering if Serena is being genuine in her feelings for Eric, along with obviously having the ulterior motive about the art, but that move made me think she is completely faking her feelings for Eric. She can't be bothered to keep up the pretense now that her actual goal is within reach. I am *so curious* about what the deal is with the elephant!!

I also am really, really enjoying Jordan and how she stands up for herself.

I want to know why the schemers and liars like Nicole and Theresa aren't allowed to be smart and get the upper hand at least for a while. The good guys always win and the bad guys are always inept. The only one that is allowed to get away with stuff is Kristen and that's because she gets to leave.

This kind of stuff is why I stopped watching The Good Wife. It's boring watching Alicia win every time.

It's also beyond annoying how Daniel gets to be every kind of specialist physician, a better cop than the actual police, a paralegal and now apparently an expert on copyright law.

That's Toothy's best look for a date. YIKES!!! She said she was going for the gold with that outfit, no, no, no Toothy you were going for cheap, which is exactly what she looked like. Brady cheapened the date more with them fake ass plastic flowers. Why did they leave through the living room door? Toothy came through the front and it was just ridiculous. WTF kind of date would that have been since she has to go to work? I swear the writers are so dumb and stupid and dumb and stupid that it bears repeating.

Victor, get new favorite people because if Dumbass & Toothy are your two, you have very low standards. I know deep down that Sonny is his #1 Favorite, so that will give me comfort.

Theresa I like you and all but WTF?? Just toss a whole stack of W2 files in the trash. Not good and can get you fired, even Anne would be appalled by that, so I think Anne will need those forms. She's right on about one thing, if Toothy doesn't like her, then stay away, but won't be possible now, now that Toothy is overhearing what Electro Shock Therapy is saying.

Electro Shock Therapy talking about no secrets. Since when is he and Theresa in a relationship? Automatic red flag, and would have told him to get out. He's just creepy and unpleasant to look at.

Sonny needs to kick Sneasel's sneasly ass, lying right to his face and talking about feeling bad. Like fuck he does. You don't feel bad and then lie about something that big. At least Sonny was upfront about losing the money.

What a surprise, Nicole is out to look like the idiot and in the wrong. IDK all that much about journalism but he came to her with a possible lead on a story and she could have made sure he had some evidence. I found that writing to just be a cop out with making him crazy and whatnot, just silly and stupid. Dingy just needs to STFU, he acted like Nicole cheated on him or something, oh wait he should know all about cheating.

Bluebird? More like a damn ostrich. She's snooping around Boring Blob Eric's house, so she's no better than Nicole. She's not into Eric, she's just rolling her eyes the minute Eric left the house.

Really? I will have to watch that scene again. I thought I saw her roll her eyes after he left, like maybe she was thinking: wow, he's too easy to fool. I admit I laughed in delight but maybe I imagined it? I have no idea what to make of Serena! What the hell with that elephant? Ted was a bit too cartoonish in his Crazy. Are they in cahoots? What the heck is going on with this chick?

And the ridiculous part was she was being so smug LIKE SHE KNEW WHAT WAS IN THE FILES! She looked like a complete fool (ONCE AGAIN!) in front of Daniel and Eric. SMDH.

I think Nicole suffered from bad lucking not getting the time to check the file. Had Dr. Daniel not pouted that she wasn't taking time off work to scrub off his dirty spray tan in the shower, she probably would have checked the file and then realized that the dude was lying.

I do think her excuse to Daniel was kind of sound though (well, compared to other filmsy excuses people have on this show). It WAS a work-related investigation. The only real big error she made was snooping around Serena's apartment without her permission. But her excuse that she was working on a big story that came her way, which just happened to involve Serena, actually sounds reasonable to me. She's not really lying when she says the investigation was for work. So, Daniel's big temper tantrum is a little weird to me. I can understand Eric being angry, and I think it's fair for him to say what she did was not on,  because his girlfriend was targeted, but I don't think Daniel's wrath was really in proportion to what Nicole did, mainly because I don't think really affects him. I also don't think it's on par with the shredding business. Yeah, okay, maybe Nicole is getting a bit of revenge on Serena, but at least that's from her feeling personally affronted rather than any kind of crush on Eric.  Also, I don't know why Daniel kept asking her to explain, but then would follow up with "No explanation will suffice for me!" Then he gets angry when she realizes the futility and walks away (which I actually thought was mature. What's the point of standing there arguing with someone who says no reason you're going to give would be good enough for him?)

Nicole is going to have to step up her game if she expects to take Serena down. ( Enough of the child's play!) Serena is going to be a worthy adversary. I think Nicole has underestimated Serena. I thinks she's going  give as good as she gets. She won't need Eric to fight her battles. LOL.

Now, I'm curious to see her in scenes with Kate. LOL.

It was a huge missed opportunity for the show not to use Will's resentment towards Sami to launch a real reconciliation story between Sami and Marlena.

When Sami would blame Marlena for everything, no one would agree with her.  Everyone always told Sami to take responsibility for her own life and actions.  When will blames Sami, people line up to agree with him and bash Sami.

Kate and Lucas also played a part in Will's lousy childhood, but Will never holds it against them.

Sami went to death row for a crime she didn't commit.  Will never had to take responsibility for shooting EJ.  Lucas sent Will to Switzerland to stay with Austin and Carrie after EJ was shot, and Will wouldn't talk to Sami on the phone at all.  Will acted like it was Sami's fault Lucas was in prison.  Sami didn't know Will shot EJ, she believed Lucas did, and she didn't find out the truth until 2012.

When Johnny was missing, Marlena was with John.  Kate, Lexie, and Jennifer were with Sami.  Sami stupidly cheated on Rafe with EJ when Johnny was missing, but no one blamed Marlena for that.  Rafe was sneaking around behind Sami's back with Carrie, but Sami got all the blame for their marriage ending.

When Nick was blackmailing Will, Sami/Lucas were sneaking into the jail to steal the evidence.  Sami/Sonny were sneaking into Nick's room to steal the recording.  When Sami shot Bernardi to save Rafe, Will was complaining to Sonny about them being called to testify.  The only reason there was a tape of Sami and Bernardi fighting was because Sami was trying to get the evidence that Will was the one that shot EJ.

I'm not buying that Theresa and Nicole would be this incompetent anymore than I believed that Kate and Sami would need protection from anyone including Stefano.  Please like Kate wouldn't poison Stefano and Sami wouldn't shoot him in the head the first chance she got.

I don't think sonny believed Kate's explanations today about will. I think sonny will figure it out on his own. He knows will very well. Will is a wimp and he let Kate cover his ass as usual. They have been doing that all his life. He does not know any better. I love Kate's devotion to her grandson. She is only trying to help him in a misguided way. Her advice would have been more sound if will had cheated in Los angeles. Kate is unaware of sonny's history with sparkle. Had she known, I think she would have told will to tell sonny the truth and deal with the consequences. Loiswests,I'm curious to know why you think that will is more like Carrie than Sami?

Although Will has probably always been a wimp, I feel like Chandler Massey made his wimpiness seem way less obvious to me.

I can't even imagine this version of Will playing the same scenes CM played with JS when they were both blackmailing each other with whatever.

I actually think chandler's will was wimpier than guy's. He had a sweetness to him that made him more likeable. I think will is a bit intimidated by sonny. He always gives in to sonny and never pushes back. He never really took sonny to task for draining their joint accounts without consulting him. Look at how sonny reacted when will did not tell him he got fired in Los angeles. He acted like will had kicked puppies for kicks...sonny is not going to react well at all about the affair. Will should have told him the truth with Kate there for support.

I was waiting for someone better than me (I?) to say this but Victor/Vapidgail was a thing of beauty.  He kept saying why are you here?  The brilliance is when after an eternity he got up close to her with his arms out and she was all expecting a pat and a hug and he took the drink from her hand and turned her around like the Grinch with Cindy Lou Hoo and pushed her out of the door.  Opened mouthed she left.  As far as Stef being involved, it's just another obnoxious propping of the Abifail.  Goddamn it give it up already show.

I do have to give it to show for having a little intelligence in understanding that Serena would only have to look at the last viewed date log on her computer to know it all lines up and deduce the files were probably copied.  I don't mind the texting either since they don't overdo it.  I'm more annoyed by "I can't talk to you over the phone I have to see you in person" for something they could say in ten words.  I guess that stretches out the scenes hence the slow writing. Having just said that, I think there are some interesting things going on.  What I miss is the payoff.  Like what never happened with Sami.

That other people's reactions to them differ doesn't change the fact that both Will and Sami acted like petulant, mother-blaming brats well after puberty.

Kate and Lucas were definitely partly to blame for Will's issues, but just like Sami before him, he chose to blame hismother for everything.

I was just surprised that they didn't draw that parallel and tie it to Sami's exit.

Whatever the fuck is going on with Melanie and Brady needs to stop.  It's dumb, and her giggling and gurgling is annoying.  But at least she's not Abigail!

I was really hoping that whole thing with Ted and Serena was a trap for Nicole.  It would have been way more interesting that making him a mental patient who gave Serena the stupidest nickname ever.  But whatever.  Nicky needs to step up her game *and* kick Dr. Tan to the curb.  He only wants her around to make himself feel superior anyway.

I am hoping beyond hope that when Serena steals whatever is in or on that ugly elephant, that Eric goes to Nicole for help and she tells him to fuck off.

That would be so, so awesome.

I have a little bone to pick with Show,  Or maybe not so little.  Seven times, today alone, the word "bitch" was used.  Victor, Nicole, Serena, Melanie, Theresa, I forget who else - probably one or more of them used the word twice.  Bitch.  I will gladly mail Show and it's Baboon Box of Writers a thesaurus, or they could just go online and see that there are a plethora of words they could use instead - Synonyms for bitch, a noun  for malicious woman, words like floozy, harlot, hussy, slut, tart, tramp, vamp, wench, witch, hellion, shrew, termagant, vixen.  Or, better yet, perhaps Show could actually develop a character with a bit more style and substance.  What am I saying?  Baboons and writers, continue your crap throwing and screeching.

What a bunch of lazy-ass writers.

I am hoping beyond hope that when Serena steals whatever is in or on that ugly elephant, that Eric goes to Nicole for help and she tells him to fuck off.

And I hope she uses that EXACT phrasing.  I need to see him pass out from the shock of hearing a dirty word.  Then she needs to gag him and leave him propped up with his pants around his ankles on the Alice and Tom Horton plaque in the Square.   Eric has far, far too high an opinion of the sacredness of his private parts.  They ought to do an episode of Secrets of the Dead devoted just to him.

Whatever the fuck is going on with Melanie and Brady needs to stop.  It's dumb, and her giggling and gurgling is annoying.  But at least she's not Abigail!

What?, you don't find Mel's ERkkk, aPLegm, AR, Er, Ahhhh, Eehhh, Oooohhh, SPLAT, tinkle TwinKLE, blablablabla PLOTZ ohwahtareliefitis!!  to be utterly charming AND sexy?  Gosh GOLLY GEE, I'm so sad we didn't get to see her funny fall - and she dragged Brady down too!!  HILarrrrriouuuuuuuus!

Those two stripping down and cuddling under the blanket was a bit off-putting.  I felt like calling Child Protective Services - I just wasn't sure which one needed the protecting more.  Mel is Lolita-lite creepy, Brady is dumb manchild creepy.

So Ted turned out to be a Gomer, eh?  The actor IS a gomer, was just as big a doofus on AMC.  He hasn't improved.  I'm still suspicious, though, about how real this guy's nuttiness really is.  Not that Show necessarily makes sense, but this little story line diversion was so unnecessary - unless there's more to this guy than we saw today.  I'm still not sure he's not part of Serena's search for Big Foot.   I like Melissa Archer, but I'm hoping she tones down the Flubbette imitation - big eyes, unblinking, heaving bosom, etc.  I didn't like it when she did on OLTL and I don't like it here either.  MA is a good actor and she's made some poor writing better before.  I hope she can do it again.  Show isn't making it easy.

I loved Nicole walking away from Dark Roast Dan today.  He got into his Jenn drag and started nagging her like he was a Horton.  Nicole deserves better than always being the fool, and she sure as hell deserves better than having to DATE the fool as well.  Dan should be absolutely THRILLED that Nicole wants to be with him and he hasn't had to inflate his anatomically incorrect American Girl Doll, but if he doesn't back down ASAP I hope Nicole puts a pin in it.  And I don't care which "it" it is.

Maybe Betty Boop aka Mel might want to just stop poking the lion aka Theresa every chance she gets.  Theresa might not make the best choices but my money is on her if she and Strawberry Shortcake get into it again.

I thinks it's possible that Guy Wilson and Kate Mansi skipped the same acting classes. All of them.

Maybe they both missed those classes because they slipped and hit their heads.  And then did it again.  And again.  And then fell - SPLAT - right on their faces, too.

Yeah, what is up with that? He always hated it when Jen was lecturing him about something, but, um, dude, you're doing the same thing!

I'm surprised Brady isn't jaded about dating yet. It's as if any woman will do for him -- and the song "Your Body is a Wonderland" starts playing in his head anytime he finds a new woman who isn't related to him in his vicinity. He needs to go have a talk with J-Lo about his love addiction problem.
