Aw we get a Clark VoiceOver a flashback montage.

Clark should set up some Police Box type things around town so he can suit up and fly out without anyone watching.

Lois is putting together a crib (badly) and is salty about it. Annoyed Lois is funny.

I hope Kyle and Chrissy get the house BUT I'm sure they could find a nicer apartment if it doesn't work out.

Coach being Team Kent is funny but he should apply that good humor to all of his players.

JIMMY OLSEN!!! I can't remember if he's been referenced before but, if he's still alive in the present, I want him to show up for...something. I don't care what just bring him on.

The douche football player is the only person, so far, I would say it's important to convince Clark and the twins have no powers. The rest of the people so far seem fine keeping quiet aside from the occasional wink and 'super' comment.

I'm of two minds on Chrissy selling her half of the Gazette for the house. On the one hand she wants what she thinks is best for her new family and that's important. On the other hand: WHAT WILL SHE BE DOING FOR WORK?? Even if they buy the house upfront rather than get a loan they'll still have to pay taxes and I promise Kyle doesn't make enough for that. If Chrissy really wants the house this bad then she should ask her parents for financial help and KEEP HER JOB. If she already had a new job lined up following the sale of the Gazette then sure go do whatever but she said nothing.

I like Angry Clark. I think a big part of this is he never had to navigate this many people knowing about Superman AND he was't in control of them finding out.

Hey douche Tim's mom is the only person in Smallville who doesn't know about the powers. I love how comic bullies, in the event they find out about Our Hero's Secret Identity, won't suddenly realize they'd been awful to someone who could literally punch their head off but will double down. Yes, the Kents won't do that but they have a ability. Douche Tim's friends did seem to consider this but they must not have explained it to him properly.

Jimmy's getting a major part of the flashbacks so I'm scared he's dead.

A part of me thought Lane's heart would make him a smidge sucseptible to bullets. Like it would scratch him, he'd bleed enough to convince Emmett, and then heal quickly. But him choosing to formally reveal Superman ended up being poignant.

Of course Lex was behind Emmett finding out. At least Candace can keep a secret.

He knows the boys will be on board but still does a family meeting to discuss telling the world. Never change Clark.

Ephraim is in this episode??? Does that mean Gregory directed?

I love Clark's interview/speech.

Keep the glasses. They're an accessory like a watch or baseball cap. They can be how you let people know you're in Clark mode rather than Superman mode.

Jimmy's alive!!

Dammit, that plane had ONE MORE WEEK until retirement! I laughed at the phone booth change, I'll admit.

And WELP, everyone knows now.

Yeah it was a pleasant surprise to finally see him.

I liked it. I thought it was sweet. And I also was pretty amused at "Oops. Forgot my wallet in the truck. Here I go, getting my wallet. What do you mean I'm back quickly? I just went out to the parking lot to get my wallet."

I also laughed at Clark being the bunt king.

But, I'm glad that the world's worst kept secret is now no longer a secret. Even taking a page from Tony Stark's "I am Iron Man!" press conference. Albeit a lot more humble with Clark. And how accepting everyone was.

And, yeah, I was also getting serious "Jimmy Olsen is dead" vibes, so I'm glad that he's not, and him and CK were able to reconnect.

I thought it was sweet. A nice breather to the final three episodes, no doubt.

I kinda of hate that the show has continued the CW tradition of the hero revealing themselves to the whole world. It always annoys me when the secret identity can't exist in live action the way it can in comics. Also it bugs that he mostly revealed it because half the town was acting like entitled dicks about it.

The Kent parents taught Clark a lot of good things but damn they did a whopper on him with how they taught him to hide. The fact that he was able to fully let Lois in proves how much he really loves her.

I wish he could keep the glasses. Clark without the glasses just throws me off, lol.

The phone booth change at the beginning was a nice touch.  Always a classic!

Glad we were able to get this show's version of Jimmy Olsen before it heads out.  Recognize Douglas Smith from a few things (mainly Marcus from The Alienist), and he did a good job with being more of the typical Jimmy from the comics and whatnot, as opposed to Mehcad Brooks' version from Supergirl.  I also was worried that something tragic had happened to him, so I'm glad he's still alive, knows the truth, and makes peace with Clark.

Yeah, I get why Clark was still hesitant about it, but he really was fighting a losing battle with trying to keep his identity a secret since I'm pretty sure everyone in Smallville already figured out his deal now.  And you can tell it was weighing heavy on both Jonathan and Jordan, so I'm glad he did reveal his identity to the world, despite the dangers that come with it.  Tyler Hoechlin did great work here.  That said, don't toss away the glasses, Clark!  They might still come in handy...

Figured Kyle/Chrissy's plot was going to end with the Kents somehow getting them their dream house.  I wonder if this is their send off or if there will be more to come with them.  It's been a while since we've checked in on the Irons as well.

I wonder if Clark's concerns will be valid and we will see the return of some former advisories with an axe to grind.  Got three more episodes for it to happen!

It was a lost cause when Lex figured out - he'd always be able to hold it over their heads.  That being said, it was short sighted of him to waste it on Candice's dad.

Let's hope Jonathan and Jordan never planned to go to college or hold down a real job because that's a pipe dream now.

Everyone who lives in or near a big city is flabbergasted at the idea of a nice house (with yard) costing 300k.

Not only that, but aren’t civil servants in the “first responders” type of job fairly well paid?  I think in big cities, firefighters average a 6 figure salary. I know Smallville isn’t the big city, but it should still pay decently, especially since Kyle has been in his job for a while.

WORD!

I didn’t expect Clark’s identity to be revealed but it does make sense given how soooo many people already knew or strongly suspected. I think the show already departed from the comics with Clark/Lois having twins, so what’s one more departure with the identity reveal…

I suspected that since this is the final season that Clark was going to reveal his identity to the world.  Especially since Luthor knows who he is and Luthor was always going to hold it over his head.  However, I definitely didn't expect it to be the result of Candice's loser dirtbag dad.

Didn't need to see Chrissy again, but I thought it was great seeing Kyle and I loved how Kyle stood up for Clark in front of Emmitt.

I'm glad that the family doesn't have to keep the secret anymore.  But I'm disappointed that we only have three episodes left to see how the family adjusts to being public superheroes.  I want Jon and Jordan to get codenames.  However, there is only one Superboy name, so I would think that if they get names, neither would use Superboy.

I bet the girl from Metropolis who dumped Jon is really regretting it now, hah.

I loved the references to the Christopher Reeve movies.  When Jimmy referenced how Clark disappeared and every time, Superman made a save, those were direct allusions/references to the Reeve movies.  The Daily Planet helicopter rescue and when Superman used his body in place of the destroyed train track during the earthquake were from the first Superman movie.  The Eiffel Tower elevator rescue was from Superman II.

Loved this episode! I cheered when Clark took his glasses off in the diner, like enough of this. And loved Kyle taking out the trash that is Candice's father. Relieved to have a Lex free episode. Lois explaining to the boys what it like for Clark having to keep that secret. Even Jordan didn't annoy me this episode, he was helpful with Jonathan, real growth. And Jimmy Olsen! What an unexpected treat, loved his "over here CK" at the end, just perfect.

I guess the football coach can't recruit the Kent boys now.  It's one thing to cheat on the sly, and it's another when everyone knows they're Superman's kids.  And likely have powers, although I don't think they said whether or not they were trying to hide that.  Looks like they aren't though.

I really love how this episode played out, I'm only sad that we don't get to have more time to see how the Kent's deal with everyone knowing the truth now. I really feel for Clark, it must have been so hard feeling like he had this wall between him and most everyone in the world and that he had to hide himself for his whole life, going back to childhood, but this was the only thing they could do now. The cats pretty much out of the bag, half of Smallville knows and most urgently Lex knows, the only real play is to tell the truth on his own terms. Especially now that both twins have powers, keeping one person with super powers hidden is hard enough, three is a whole different beast.

I thought that everyone in Smallville doing the "hi there Clark, hope your having a SUPER day" bit was hilarious, Clark was just trying so hard to act all normal even with all the winking and nudging.

We finally meet Jimmy, and he's perfectly cast, as always with this show. I was worried that something bad had happened to him but him and Clark just becoming distant because of his secret identity makes a lot of sense, and I am really glad that Jimmy was totally happy to reconcile.

I enjoyed the flashbacks to Lois and Clark in Metropolis, it all felt very old school Superman. The phone booth! Maybe Clark should consider keeping his glasses, even if its just to let people know if he's "on the clock" or not.

Of course Candice's loser dad showed up to try and start something as soon as he found out who Clark was, what a dick. Candice isn't my favorite, but I do feel bad for her having such a crappy dad, she at least did keep the secret.

Yay to Candace keeping the secret, but her dad proves “you can’t fix stupid”. He finds out Clark is Superman, THE most powerful entity on Earth but still wants to pick a fight?!  Oy vey

I was fully lecturing Candice via the tv when her dad was confronting Clark so I'm thrilled Jon's faith in her was justified. It would be so hard to keep that secret and she held firm.

He knows Clark won’t kill him. So he is just  taunting him. Like throwing rocks at a caged tiger.

Clark won’t kill him, but can still injure him, especially because it won’t be Clark throwing the first punch.  Anybody who initiates violent physical altercation assumes the consequences for that.

He’s superman. I mean, sure, if he hits him he will break his knuckles. But superman won’t hurt him. He wouldn’t, either.

Can you imagine how many crooks have initiated a violent physical confrontation with Superman?  Do you think he's filled the Metropolis ER rooms with mooks on life support because hey, they started it?  Superman is not Batman.
