He lost reelection it is widely thought because he ran his mouth about sex parties involving his fellow members of Congress and those members wanted him punished for telling tales out of school Congress. Too many people know about Gaetz. And at some point we will all know about Gaetz. The reason Trump nominated Gaetz was because he thought the sex crime allegations didn't mean anything. That Gaetz could just talk his way out of it. Because that is what Trump does. I'm curious to see if his Defense pick who also has sex crimes allegations against him will also face the same resistance for confirmation. 6 minutes ago, peacheslatour said: It's creepy as hell. It was previously known that a woman testified to the House Ethics Committee that Gaetz had sex with her when she was a minor. Sources familiar with the woman’s testimony told CNN that the woman spoke of two sexual encounters she had with the then-congressman at one party in 2017. According to CNN’s Paula Reid, the network reached out to Gaetz for comment on the story, telling Trump’s pick for attorney general that the scoop would publish at 12:30 p.m. ET. Gaetz posted his statement announcing his withdrawal from consideration six minutes earlier. He has previously denied having sex with a minor. 4 3 Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/150441-chit-chat-the-feels/page/37/#findComment-8514122

People who thought that Trump would REALLY lower grocery bills are nuts. I think grocery bills will only go up. 14 3 Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/150441-chit-chat-the-feels/page/37/#findComment-8514449

I can already hear the rants from patients who come into our business office needing help with their VA healthcare. Whooooole lot of my coworkers are about to have to deal with a lot of very unhappy patients next year. 6 hours ago, Palimelon said: To paraphrase Nene Leakes, this bish done lost it. Elon Musk to ‘summon British MPs to US to explain threats to American citizens’. "Elon Musk has said UK MPs “will be summoned to the United States of America to explain their censorship and threats to American citizens” in a fresh escalation of tensions between the world’s richest man and Labour." Why the fuck is Musk involving himself in any of this shit? Literally nobody asked for your opinion, Elon, sit down and shut up. 5 hours ago, kittykat said: I think he even got primaried. Crazy that he was so toxic that even the Republicans primaried him. Once upon a time a line existed. Now the bar is so low we can't even send James Cameron down to raise it. Seriously, remember the days when shit like this actually ended political careers and politicians had to resign in disgrace and shame? Can we go back to that? 4 hours ago, fastiller said: There's a reason that we in NYC are happy to see the back of him. When the Decades channel was a thing, they used to show "Laugh-In" reruns on there, and there were SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO many jokes about Ronald Reagan and his political career back then. My mom told me about how people in California could not STAND Reagan, similar to the way people in NYC could not stand Trump. I know they're part of tha supposed pesky "liberal elite" that the right alwyas likes to complain about, lmost like the rest of us should've, y'know, listened to them and their complaints about those two men. Also, regarding people recalling their first presidential votes, mine was in 2004, for Kerry. Three elections I voted in where the person I voted for won (Obama in both '08 and '12, and Biden in '20), and three elections where they didn't (Bush in '04, and of course, Trump in 2016 and this year). So...three and three? Edited November 22 by Annber03 8 2 Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/150441-chit-chat-the-feels/page/37/#findComment-8514463
