It is a takedown of Bill Maher's visit to The White House a couple of weeks ago. It is a fictitious account of a guest who spends an evening with Hitler in 1939. Set a few months before the start of WWII. Going by the excerpts I read, it is a wowser...and funny. I wonder how Maher will react? HIs ego is sort of fragile. And in grocery stores, dentist office, at my volunteer "job" at a local food pantry, etc. When my beloved Mr. Kemper was so sick, during Trump's first term, he would ask me to put on CNN first thing every morning. There are a lot of parents of autistic children and disabled children who are only desperate because they are selfish and mad. They had a specific vision of what parenthood would be, and will do just about anything to make that happen. Instead of changing their expectations into what is possible for their child, they would rather change their child to fit their expectation. 6 3 Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/150441-chit-chat-the-feels/page/253/#findComment-8642770

I take your point but I hope Canada never reaches a point where the disabled are considered expendable. Eugenics is part of Project 2025 and it looks like Kennedy may be on board with some of their goals. 5 minutes ago, Ohiopirate02 said: There are a lot of parents of autistic children and disabled children who are only desperate because they are selfish and mad. suomi Tuesday at 08:59 PM Share Tuesday at 08:59 PM I will be the last person on earth who thinks that RFK Jr is not a waste of skin, but that Cohen guy is using inflammatory language. I say this as someone who (for 23 years so far) has been a live-in caregiver for a sister who is developmentally disabled. A registry and a study are very different things. 3 3 3 Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/150441-chit-chat-the-feels/page/253/#findComment-8642804

It's been updated with new info since it wss released yesterday. State of the art protections, my ass. I wouldn't trust these bastards with my grocery list, let alone our medical records. I'm off to check the dockets to see if a lawsuit has already been filed, but many of these supposedly protected health records are already available through various governmental departments. 😠 Why is all of this not just one massive HIPAA violation? RFK Jr.'s autism study to amass medical records of many Americans https://www.cbsnews.com/news/rfk-jr-autism-study-medical-records/ The National Institutes of Health is amassing private medical records from a number of federal and commercial databases to give to Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr.'s new effort to study autism, the NIH's top official said Monday. ... Medication records from pharmacy chains, lab testing and genomics data from patients treated by the Department of Veterans Affairs and Indian Health Service, claims from private insurers and data from smartwatches and fitness trackers will all be linked together, he said. The NIH is also now in talks with the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services to broaden agreements governing access to their data, Bhattacharya said. In addition, a new disease registry is being launched to track Americans with autism, which will be integrated into the data. Advocacy groups and experts have called out Kennedy for describing autism as a "preventable disease," which they say is stigmatizing and unfounded. ... While the selected researchers will be able to access and study the private medical data, Bhattacharya said they will not be able to download it. He promised "state of the art protections" to protect confidentiality. 10 1 Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/150441-chit-chat-the-feels/page/253/#findComment-8642809
