I knew it was Halloween, I knew it was "Breakfast at Tiffany's", but I swear it took 15-20 minutes before it hit me: That's her costume!!! Until then it was Elsbeth just decided to dress like Audrey Hepburn because she's Elsbeth😂😂😂😂

In my defense, it was a long day of handing out candy to little monsters😂😂😎

I didn't think the main suspect's bangs looked bad.  I mean, her hair was overall a mess after her "big night" but I didn't think it looked like hedge clippers were involved.

I will have to try watching this again, but I found the suspect so annoying that I only made it through the first half of the episode.

One thing I am wondering, why does Elsbeth carry four big bags wherever she goes? When the show debuted last season I thought it was because she wasn't really settled, but I am stumped this year as to why she continues. I am sure there is an easy explanation and I just missed it along the way.

It's her thing.  She always had a bunch of tote bags on The Good Wife too.  Vaguely remember Alicia or someone else at the firm grumbling about all the bags she carries around.

The change-up in formula was kind of fun.  Usually, we know who the perp is at the beginning but this had a bit of a mystery to it--although not really since I pegged the lawyer early on.

Hmm, I actually found Mac super adorable. I even said "I love her!" a couple of times throughout the ep. I thought the actress was absolutely charming. To each their own.

Hmmph, I’ll be the judge of that!

I loved Elsbeth dressed as Holly Golightly but didn't love that comment what's his name said about that character basically being a prostitute. Not an appropriate comment at a workplace, dude. I don't care how close to the truth it might be.

I suspected the lawyer right away. He practically screamed guilty. But I hope that doesn't mean the show is changing it's premise now to kind of keep the identity of the killer a secret from the audience.

I found the suspect annoying too and I have to say I didn't love this episode because of it. After a fantastic first episode I am lukewarm on the next two.

Wasn't it the lawyer who made that comment?  He was super sleezy so it fits his character and he wouldn't care that he said it in public/in a workplace.

Great for him but I still think it was inappropriate.

Well, in the BOOK she's basically a prostitute. In the film, she's Audrey Hepburn! ;-)

Also the former child star was so specific in her behavior, Is wondered which of Elsbeth 's writers worked on a Nickelodeon show!

That bothered me, a couple of no-name kids, working on a TV Show surrounded by adults and one of the kids wouldn't know the name of the other kid, I would have figured they would have bonded closer than family. Mac even said that she never forgets anything.

I know, I've seen the movie umpteen times and it's hinted at even in that. But I said I don't care how close to the truth his comment was, I still think it's not appropriate to mention that to a woman in the workplace. Maybe I'm just old fashioned or whatever. Of course I can see mentioning prostitutes if it was relevant to a case in their line of work but it was not said in that context. And especially directed toward Elsbeth dressed as that character, it could be taken personally. I know if someone at work said that to me (especially a man), I'd feel like it was a potential jab at me. Some guy at work telling me I was dressed as a character that was a prostitute - yeah, no. Not appropriate even if it was true.

Clearly, Elbeth isn't that much of a snowflake. I can't imagine someone being offended by the comment to be honest. Perhaps Elsbeth was inappropriate, wearing a costume of a character who was a prostitute.

Me, too.  The only time I didn't like her was when she was rude to the bartender.

I thought the whole episode was fun.  A nice change from me complaining about Matlock's rudeness.

I liked her hair better with the bangs.  And curly bangs aren't supposed to be even.

Mac did such a good job of ripping open the neckline of her dress, she turned it into a perfectly finished V-neck.

I also don't understand why everyone thinks Danny specifically told Mac to kill Sonny.  Sure, he stuck the gun in her bag, but Sonny also attacked Mac from behind while wearing a werewolf mask.  She wouldn't have known who he was, and was merely defending herself.  I'm not even sure that the drugs caused her to actually fire the gun.  Is the show saying that her memories of the shooting are completely false, and that she shot Sonny while he was wearing the mask and not attacking her, because Danny told her to while she was suffering the drug's effects?

Do tattoo artists actually tattoo people who act drunk?  Seems like it could really come back to bite them.

Mac shot Sonny in an alley very close to the bar where she broke the bartender's nose, but she actually did it after leaving the nightclub with the monkey?  I guess the 2 places were geographically close?

Brilliant deductions and Drunk people bleed more, so I don't know if that is a problem for tattoos.

I get that the bags are just part of her character's styling, like the patterned jackets and pussy bows. But it doesn't make sense! A prop should have a purpose or tell us something about the character -- Brenda Leigh Johnson was always haphazardly digging through her tote, Mary Poppins' bag was magic -- but Elsbeth just carries them. We rarely see anything go in or out and she even doesn't bump into things with them. (If I carried those I'd be knocking into things all over crime scenes.)

He is definitely written and directed that way! I really don't get where they are going with him.
