A brief medical interlude:
I know DBS doesn't cure Parkinson's, but it can be pretty miraculous when it works. A friend of my parents had the surgery, he was in a wheelchair, tremors so bad he couldn't always feed himself. After surgery, no more wheelchair, much less tremors. That was over ten years ago, he does need a cane now, but still no wheelchair and the tremors are still under control.
And now back to your regularly scheduled program😎
(heavy sigh) It was ok. I didn't comment last week because I was waiting to see how it played out.
Abishola looked beautiful, Tunde is the best, I want Olu to be my aunt and I'm gonna miss Dele alot.
But the whole "racing to save Dele who ultimately didn't need saving so we're just going to leave him here" plotline....again, heavy sigh. I've been writing and erasing reasons why I didn't like this plotline, sometimes quite involved, sometimes just 'I hate cliffhangers!". Ultimately it boils down to I liked the character and will miss him if he's gone😠
Honestly, if I'm rewatching, or just happen to catch some on tv, I won't even bother with the last season. Like you said, silly, overblown, annoying, ridiculous and ultimately infuriating. I mean, come on, they killed off Sharon!!!😠😠😠😠😠😠😠😠😠😠😠😠😠
Yup. Too bad. If a show isn't a huge success it's cancelled, and I kinda wish they gave it a bit more time to find it's footing. I think they were finally getting a handle on the younger cast: the kids, girlfriend, roommate. Then again, what do I know😎
Nope, nope, nope. Hate the Tayo storyline. This has better be fixed first episode next season or else. The only way I'm gonna ending up liking this is if Bob gets to punch Tayo in his smug face. And I'm not one for violence so I'm also annoyed at the show for making me think it, but I want to see that!
How about this, season two opens with Gina and Eli waving at a plane taking Drew to Switzerland. It's a year later, Eli's still on dialysis, one of the other dialysis group is getting ready for a transplant, Gina's still living at Drew's and going back to school to be a nurse, or lab tech, or something. And of course, Cannoli is still there too.
I like it
He was in college. But he thought everything was fine because Mary said it was and he didn't/couldn't pick up on subtler clues that they weren't. Or as Georgie said (paraphrasing) "of course things weren't fine, how could they be"
And I'd love to see the broken arm scene too. We're horrible people😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
