slowpoked September 16 Share September 16 39 minutes ago, ProudMary said: Jean Smart is the best and I'm delighted that she won, but I'm very disappointed for Hannah Einbinder. This was Hannah’s best season, no doubt. She finally rose to the challenge and went toe-to-toe with a legend. Their chemistry reminds me a lot of Glenn Close-Rose Byrne in Damages. It took awhile for Rose to get her footing too against the godly Glenn, but when she finally did, it was glorious. 3 Link to comment
ProudMary September 16 Author Share September 16 JMO, but I've been very disappointed in TDS since Jon Stewart's one-day-a-week return. I like it best when Desi Lydic hosts and when Ronny Chieng hosts. Stewart is a shell of what he used to be. 4 1 Link to comment

The writing stepped up bigly, especially as Hannah was slowly becoming Jean’s equal as it went towards its amazing season finale. 4 Link to comment

Despite all the stars, that was one of the harder watches for me with all of the yelling, shouting and cursing. I don’t even like Cousin Ritchie, truly detested him in Season 1, but Forks was what made me finally *get* him. 3 Link to comment

Either way, I think it is good. Link to comment

Phebemarie September 16 Share September 16 The Emmys actually listened to complaints about the in memoriam segment. A discreet chamber orchestra just off stage, full screen pictures of those lost, a performer who wasn’t determined to make the moment all about himself. Although I don’t know much about his music, Jelly Roll just performed at the Oregon State Penitentiary last week. Seems like he is practicing what he preaches. 10 Link to comment
