I really like the tests where people have to face their fears--but this isn't one of those.

TBF, for some people it is.  They're afraid of getting into a physical fight.  Whether it's because they could be seriously injured, or they fear what they might do to the other person.

And we saw both of those outcomes.  The injuries were obvious, but Cam was on the other side of the equation.

If Cam Newton could go FIVE minutes without saying "I'm really competitive", he'd come off as less of a tool to me.  His dreads annoy me too.

How many times did that Golden guy have to whine that he didn't know what to do with his life?  Dude, it's called get a JOB.  Millions of people do that every day.

And I hope Ms. My-ex-is-Travis-Kelce got some insight into why hair extensions are NOT a good choice when you're going to spend 10 days in wet, cold, salty, sandy & windy Wales.  She may be doing ok physically in the show, but she probably had to have a whole new head of hair after filming.  That mess is gross.

Regarding Denise and her implants, many are saline-filled these days, not silicone.  So if one breaks or leaks, the saline is non-toxic and absorbed by the body.  I don't know what kind she had, but probably saline.

I didn't know much about Carey Hart, but now that they have finally featured him a bit I really like him.  They are finally letting us know a bit more about the contestants who aren't football players.  Speaking of which, I didn't appreciate how Cam came after the others with his 'you know me, I didn't cheat, do you think I cheated?'  Yeah, like anyone's going to tell him 'yes, you cheated...' They even showed Cam the footage of him stopping at 15.

I could not have handled the being buried alive punishment.  Good for them for getting through it.  Never heard of Kayla (?) before this show, but I like her humanity and how she really felt bad for those who had to suffer punishment for her not doing 20 exercises (which she acknowledged during Cam's hissy fit when she stated that she knew she did 18).

I was surprised that nobody quit during this episode.  Congrats to them all for toughening it out.

The "tactical questioning" is such a waste of time.  I don't care.  Trauma drama we really don't need.  Surfer girl and her vocal fry is incredibly annoying and she's a flake.

Kyla Pratt is in a TV show with Mayim Bialik "Call me Kat".  Cute comedy.  She's nice.

I'm liking Carey too.  He's got a decent perspective on life and he's got maturity, especially compared to the rest of the group.

And yet again, Cam Newton demonstrates what an absolute knob he is.  And how much more impressed he is with himself than anybody else is.

And Tate Golden was with 5 NFL teams in 11 years.  A good player, but so immature.  He blew off his senior year at Notre Dame to be drafted.  60th.  He paid almost 8K in fines for excessive taunting & was later suspended for taking performance enhancing drugs.  He wound up on the Tennessee Titans Practice squad before being let go.  No wonder his brain is screwed up and he's a Lost Boy.

They showed him the video of him only doing 15 and everyone knows they were all recorded doing the burpees but Cam is telling everyone he did 20.  Is he trying to make everyone think staff is lying?

I really dislike him.  He attitude is horrible and it doesn’t seem like he thinks he can do anything wrong and nothing is his fault (I was played at the gas mask challenge).  I wish staff would just cut him at this point.

Yeah, he doubled down on his cheating. So disappointing from a former pro-athlete.

I would've been removing that numbered armband as soon I saw the coffins in the sand!!

Yes, I'm very claustrophobic. That one would have been tough. But I'm also deathly afraid of heights, so I wouldn't want to do the bungee jump either. Basically, I couldn't go on this show.

Who was the woman sobbing out loud? (sorry, my first episode). Maybe I would've done the same thing, but watching it on TV, it seemed performative and melodramatic.

Totally agree.  Too many years of being told how great he is.  For a second, I thought he really did think he did them all and would admit to it as an honest mistake when faced with the video.  Nope.  Didn't he even make a comment indicating he thought the tape was edited?

His trying to break out of the little house during the gas mask challenge says it all.

When some former pro athletes (and other notable people) turn to over-dramatic reality shows to get their attention, positive strokes and adoration, they are seriously lacking self-confidence and purpose.  Sad, really.

You can tell the ones that actually want to prove to themselves they can withstand something tough, and aren't doing it just to strut & posture, like Kyla and Carey.  For them, it seems a personal achievement.

I'm no analyst, but Cam the Knob & Golden Dud are both overcompensating WAY too much in trying to portray the tough guy.  And both are failing.

I think Kayla went on to try & prove she wasn't just the warm-up act for Taylor Swift in the Travis Kelce Bowl, but she's failing miserably too.  Still there, but barely.  She'll always be the side piece.

I keep waiting for one of the hosts to whip out a K-Bar knife & whack off a few of Cam's dreads.  They're disgusting.
