So Shekina's dreamboat weighs her in every day (never mind that weight goes up and down with a woman's cycles), dictates her outfits, makeup, and  hair, and then goes on national TV to protest a measly post on social media?  Well, next week, he pulls a sucker out of Shekina's mouth.  Oh no!  Some guy pulls a Cheez-it or a 3 Musketeers bar from my grubby little paws and we are going to have a problem.

What exactly is the appeal of a guy who resembles the Incredible Hulk with brain wattage in negative numbers?  2500 women-I don't think I have even met 2500 men, and that's a lot of years.  Shekina, dear, it's player behavavior because...wait...he's a player!   At this point, I think it's more she doesn't want to go home and admit that her friends were right.

I lost count of all of the red flags in that interaction.  I did not forget that she was doing this to make her daughter proud, however..

While I agree with most of the comments about him being a walking literal red flag unless I was too gummied up to remember correctly she asked him which outfit he liked best out of a selection & which jacket he thought went with said outfit, because she seems to thinks he's some fashion guru, so he wasn't telling her what to wear but answering her questions.

Now the correct answer to that question around here is "you always look wonderful whatever you choose to wear Fiona my dear" it may not be the same in plastic land.

Y'all. Besides Kenny and Armando, I feel like these people are huge train wreck. Shekinah wanting a post vs. a story. Really, girl? That's your concern?? He is worried about you being 4 lbs over your ideal weight. What are you thinking?? TJ claiming Kim is his manifestation? Manifestation of what, exactly? The coven her shirt proclaims?? Because that's all I see. Can't wait for her to screech later this season. That should be fun for his whole neighborhood. And homegirl in the DR gets her puppy taken away? 🤣 After this episode he bemoans she isn't keeping him to other "DR men,  American woman" standards, of he paid for the dog, I bet he is going to fight for it. And Brandan and Mary in a food fight? Gawd.....

I thought that was shotgun wedding cake?  Maybe it was Britney/Marcellano smushed birthday cake, but that seems like a fairly odd way to celebrate a birthday to me,  and besides, was a different show, Love after Lockup.

For the life of me, I can't understand why Kimberly so desparately wants to hold onto TJ.  She is already out of her mind with misery, and she doesn't even know what's coming. She is going to go ballistic!

You seem a smart man.  When Fiona asks "Do I look fat in this?", the only answer is what you said above.  Sarper would say "Yes".

i want to punch Kimberly in the throat. One of the most spoiled, narcissistic, nasty people to ever grace this franchise and that's saying alot. She has not one ounce of compassion or kindness for TJ until he threatens to leave her. Disgusting.

I'm getting tired of Armando and his whining about a baby. You have a kid with your DNA already and Kenny is 60. It's pretty selfish to ask him to father another child at his age. He moved to another country for him, lives in a town he doesn't love and now he has to make a decision he doesn't want to make just to shut Armando up. He wants a baby so he will have something of Kenny after he dies. There will be things all around him to remind him of Kenny after he is gone. STFU about it , already.

Danielle. How many ways does Yohan need to show her he only wants a sugar mama? And she wants a baby with this loser?

Ugh. These people and their baby dreams.

I had an epiphany last night.  Sarper is Jim Varney, or for those in the know, Ernest.

I think she has probably had zero luck with the American men she has tried to date. The girl is horribly traumatized by her mother; unless she gets real help, I don't see her ever being happy.

It was shockingly eye-opening when Yohan was talking with his friend at the gym complaining that another friend dated (married?) an American woman and she bought him a house and a car and all Yohan got was a dog.  What a total joke this whole relationship is!  The preview of next episode look interesting with them fighting over what Yohan can take when he leaves her.

All Kimberly can see is her Bollywood wedding and TLC paycheck.  That's really all that matters to her.  The previews of the wedding do look pretty spectacular.  Does everyone in that part of the world have weddings like that and if so, how do they afford them?

The Mary and Brandan storyline is just plain depressing.

Everything has already been said about Shakina/Sarper.

Maybe I'm alone in thinking this but my first thought watching that was "I bet she promised him a mountain of beans when she saw how big his dick was & all she's managed so far is a single bean, not even a refried one".

I am sure she  made him think she was a wealthy American who would  give him a life in the US or at most a comfortable life in  DR. You can live pretty well if you go there with American dollars.

Oh, and the joke is funny, but we don't really eat refried beans. I think the closet we come is habichuelas con dulce, which is kind of a pureed sweet bean soup. Still good point made!

Shekinah accurately called out Sarper's BS excuses. We'll see how long that lasts. Making the relationship official -- whether that's on Instagram or elsewhere -- is not a small matter at all.

I grieve the death of TJ's moment of clarity when he broke up with Kimberly. Just think: right now the relationship is only making five people miserable. But soon they will add children to the mix so they can suffer, too!

Omg you’re funny.

Yohan isn’t perfect but Danielle treats him horribly and lied/mislead him about moving to the USA. This relationship is awful. I don’t know why she just didn’t keep hooking up with him and flying down to the DR. Why MARRY HIM??!!

I don’t think Danielle is dumpy, I think she’s cute, her personality is awful but I am sure there are many men that would find her attractive.

However she LIED to Yohan and mislead him about the life they were going to have to “lock him down”. She doesn’t respect him, she should’ve just kept him as a hook up as I said above. Fly down there, have sex, give him presents and go home.

Here's the thing with Kimberly, she will never fit in there because she is utterly clueless and ignorant of traditional Indian culture. She should have bagged a guy from a well off family where everyone was educated and more in tune with western ways of living. Those families do exist in urban India, but she didn't get into one of those families. Her family is made up of people who entered into arranged marriages - TJs parents - and I don't think the brother is married but if he is or will be, it'll be arranged. TJ and Kimberly are a love marriage, and mainstream Indian culture really doesn't understand love marriages. They are also sort of looked down upon because those who marry for love in India usually lord it over others as a 'look at me, I didn't get married off, I chose my partner', and the vast majority of others around them are made to feel less than because they're all in arranged marriages. I've seen it happen and love marriage people are usually annoying AF to everyone around them. Kimberly seems completely clueless about this very huge distinction that will always make her and TJ seem different to others. It's not just her being a non-Indian, but she's too up her own ass to bother to figure this out, and weirdly, TJ hasn't mentioned this to her on camera either, which boggles the mind. TJs parents were an arranged marriage I'm sure, and as such they have no idea of the squabbles and fights that a couple goes through, though a lot of this is Kimberly being a bitch.

I just cant with S&S, those two are just playing us for their 15 minutes of Famewhoredom.

"I know I can be a bitch and a lot to handle."  Those are Kimberly's own words.  Let's get real.  No sane man would put up with this lunatic, let alone one from a "well-off family".   There is reason why her stepmother encouraged her to call TJ to try and reconcile.  They want to be rid of her. TJ should have held his ground.  He is a damn fool.  This woman is going to make him and his family miserable.  While I feel sorry for them, I don't feel sorry for him. TJ did not admit to intentionally "defrauding" Kimberly.  After her alarming behavior the first night, it appeared that the producers sensed that she "could be a handful" (her words).  TJ was asked by a producer if Kimberly knew what would be expected of her after they got married.  He replied, "no, I haven't told her."   Kimberly lived in India for a year.  Seems to me she should have known a little about their culture.  Heck, I've never been to India, don't plan on marrying an Indian and yet, I know that a daughter in-law is expected to move in with her in-laws and help take care of the family.  Are we to believe that this 30-year-old woman is so innocent and naive that she has no idea what is expected of an Indian wife?

She is 100% naive enough to believe that she's a murican and therefore the rules in other countries don't apply to her, just like most that we see.

He said he wasn't going to inform her until after the wedding. That's fraudulent. Sure, as others have said, she could have looked around India and asked him what he would want from her. But he still made a deliberate choice to keep his wishes secret from her until she was already essentially trapped. He spelled that out clearly to the rest of us.

It's on both of them that they don't seem to have had a clear discussion of what they each expect way before now. They just keep running into things and then exploding. First flush of love giving way to reality... which often turns out fine, but not likely in this case. Brandon and Mary may be next.

Can someone please, please, PLEASE explain something to me?

I've been around for many decades, and have had a few long-term (and several short-term) relationships (these were all consecutive, not concurrent 😊), and never have I ever thought of any of my partners as being potential "IKEA hacks".

Meaning: never in my wildest dreams did I ever think "He's absolutely perfect! I just have to tell him he can't do A, B, and C anymore, and must do X, Y, and Z from now on."

I don't understand this mindset at all

You can't claim to love someone if you're telling them they have to stop doing something they enjoy because you don't like it.

Shekinah isn't the only person in the 90 Day universe who's been like this. I just finished bingeing 90 Day Fiance UK and there's a woman in the most recent season who told her partner — who loves dancing as a hobby — that he can't dance any Latin dances anymore. Why? Because she hates Latin dancing and has decided it's "pornographic". So she's decided no more classes for him because he's paired with other female students to dance "pornographically"  — not even if she goes with him and watches.

I know there have been other examples in the 90 Day universe (both women and men) but I think because I find this mindset so awful I force myself to forget them as soon as their season ends.

Insofar as Shekinah and her problem with Sarper playing video games, I'm female and older than everyone who has mentioned their own or their video game playing spouse's ages, and I've spent over 200 hours thus far playing The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom (released 5/12/23) and many times that number of hours playing the game that preceded it: The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild - between May 2020 and May of this year.

So Shekinah doesn't know what she's talking about if she thinks video games are only for boys in their teens and early 20's.

Although I never got into it, Animal Crossing is a game that helped hundreds of thousands of men and women of all ages survive the COVID-19 lockdowns without losing their minds.

So Shekinah? If you haven't actually tried playing any video games, you don't know how much fun and how relaxing they can be. There really is something for everyone now!

Oh, and here's a relationship hint: if you don't want your partner telling you what you can and cannot do and how they expect you to change to align with their sensibilities, then maybe you should stop telling them what they can and cannot do and what you expect them to change to align with your sensibilities.

"Keep his wishes secret?"  They are not secrets.  It's what Indian wives have been doing for centuries.  How hard would it have been for her to check into what was going to be expected of her? And, she isn't "trapped", because unless I am mistaken, there is this little thing called a divorce.  All I know is that if TJ knows what is good for him, he will sleep with one eye open.

The preview for next week shows her screaming like a banshee.  Yeah.  She is a real prize.

If she was marrying into a family that was more modern and both understood and accepted more western life styles - like a young couple living on their own, not expecting the new wife to do all the housework because they had live in help, having daughters of their own who had careers and jobs, etc. - then perhaps Kimberly wouldn't be as bitchy because she wouldn't have to rebel to keep her western life style. But she isn't marrying into that kind of family (I know them, they do exist there), she's marrying into a lower economic household with very traditional values and expectations that she can never uphold. She's never going to be the daughter in law who does all the cooking and cleaning and serving. She's not cut out for this at all and she seems to have done zero research into what is expected of her after marriage. In this aspect, she's an idiot just like 99% of the people on this show.

ETA: Sarper looks like a sponge soaked in STIs. He is so disgusting I can barely look at him. 🤢🤮

He said he wasn't going to inform her until after the wedding. That's fraudulent.

Yes. He even explained that if he told her, he feared that she wouldn't move to/stay in India for him. So it was a clear, deliberate plan to hide the truth.

What's extra weird about the whole situation is that the daughter-in-law is going to be expected to cook in the MIL's kitchen, HER recipes, HER way, the way the four members of the family have been eating every meal for decades. That situation leads to conflict even when the MIL and DIL have the exact same background (I'm a Jewish wife with a Jewish husband -- I've been there). But this is India! No Western person knows what they would need to know about the different purity rules, different nuances of vegetarianism, different spice levels expected in a particular home. All the Madhur Jaffrey cookbooks in the world could not prepare me to cook for this exact Hindu family in this part of Jaipur. Maybe Kimberly has been learning to make Gatte Ki Sabzi or whatever, but I don't see how anyone could expect decent DIL work out of her, even if she had a personality transplant and became totally committed to the job.

She should have bagged a guy from a well off family

Is that something one can just set out to do?  I clearly missed that day of How to Woman class.
