There will be tears. There will be regret. There will be hollering. There will be insults that fall flat. There will be someone sent home night 1 who will try to make a name for himself. There will be bloopers of people screeching at bugs.

Does this really need to be 2h🙄As predicted, it’s all Braeden so far. And who the hell is Xavier to tell Braeden he was politically incorrect.

Ok. This was a twist I didn’t see coming! Instead of a night 1 rejectee jumping into the melee, all of the guys jump on rejectee Peter and had a whole “FP” inside joke against him. Somehow the producers missed their first “villain.”

Wait. Didn’t we just have 25 minutes of flashbacks and yelling at Brayden? We don’t need to see more of his “story.” Of course there will be more confrontation/forced apologies when Charity comes out. Okay, the big revelation that no driver was in the van when Aaron ordered “Hit the gas!” almost made the 40 minutes (minus the 3 minutes on “FP”) worth it. Almost!

Jesse looks fetching in his earrings.

So tired of Brayden. I suppose when Charity comes on we will have to watch him explain himself. He's just a guy who says what he wants without considering how the other person might react or feel.

Omg, now we have to endure Xavier’s faux pas again. So this is how we get 2h, lot of review clips. Did he at least bring Jesse a scarf he knitted to go with Braeden’s earrings? I’m sure we’ll see him on std beach too.

Wow- I had liked both Aarons prior to this evening, and now I dislike fireman Aaron and I’m on the fence about the other. The FP thing is ridiculous. Cowboy/wrestler is super annoying. I still don’t like Brayden, but I think he’s an immature narcissist, not evil. The majority of these men fare better the less you see/hear/know of them.

Xavier's doing a Bachelor audition! He needs to show more animation. He's always deadpan. I suppose he will end up on Paradise and find love there.

I have more energy picking up my dry cleaning.

Is this the smallest group of men they have ever had at the reunion?  Even they don’t care about this season!

Yes. I didn’t watch the 1st half of the season but I heard it was pretty boring and most of the drama was Braeden so maybe those that didn’t show up were part of the boring and therefore irrelevant. Which again begs the question, why 2h for MTA?! Thankfully this season is almost over. God I hope they don’t make Xavier the next Bachelor, he’d be putting us to sleep.

Wow. They are really dragging this out! When they did bloopers with 40 minute to go, I got real worried. Now we have three “OG” Bachelorettes giving updates/pep talks. And I guess we’ll round out the rest with Golden Bachelor, Bachelor in Paradise, and/or Bachelorette finale previews. Will they even announce the next Bachelor? Maybe not with two more series coming up first.

What is this man’s name?! I think it’s Gerry not Gary) according to a producer-planted sign. But I swear Jesse keeps alternating between Gary and Gerry with a hard G—but not Jerry, as I’d assume Gerry would be a soft G. I guess it’s like Jerry with a hard G!

How exactly does not wanting to swear on national television mean your "putting on a façade"?

Guys, Yusof has a daughter! I will never get tired of throwing shade at Yusof, he committed the horrible sin of making me root for Claire for a minute.

Jessie really has a gift for playing along making these obviously scripted moments look spontaneous.

This season has been so chill, its like the opposite of the last several seasons where everyone is at an eleven all of the time. Its less interesting but also much less frustrating, so I've liked it a lot more even if its less buzzy.

Captain Tom! Now this is a relationship I can get behind!

Our Golden Bachelor is a fellow Hoosier! Remembering 25 names really would be the hardest part of being the Bachelor, they must have cue cards or something. Gerry seems like a nice guy and very sincere.

I think Xavier is trying to redo his Bachelor audition after he blew it, but its too little too late.

Deanna looked rough last night.  She has this edge, this short little hair-trigger thing where she has to get a word in, even when it's not her turn.

She always sounds like she's lecturing.

Charity was asking Trista how she keeps her marriage going strong.  Trista answered, then Desiree joined in, which was appropriate, given that she, too, has a successful marriage.  But then Deanna had to speak up and try to take the air out of their conversation with her interjections.   Giving all kinds of unwanted input.

I never liked Deanna, and I never understood why she was chosen to be The Bachelorette at all.

I'm so old that I watched Trista's entire season.  She was lovely then, and she's grown even more lovely, 20 years later.

Trista had been a Miami Heat dancer, with a body to match.  At the time she was The Bachelorette, she was a working as a physical therapist.  Even back then, with what little internet we had, people said she was a gold digger, as it came down to Charlie (Financial analyst, slick hair and a bank account to match) and Ryan, the Firefighter from Colorado.

Trista kept saying she just wanted to be a wife and a soccer mom, with a marriage full of love.  And that's what she chose, and that's what she kept.

Ryan has had an ongoing illness for years, and she's stuck by him.  I wish them the very best.

The commercial breaks were so long that I made the following from scratch within the 3 hours: Mexican rice, marinated/grilled chipotle chicken and an Italian lemon ricotta cake 😅.  Gerry is handsome, heartfelt and a lot of fun- get it Grandzaddy, you AARP card carrying catch!  It was nice to see Braden wearing understated drop earrings compared to the jingle jangle Claire's keychains he usually has dangling from his head.  Xavier is about as lively as my dying houseplant.

There were no bloopers of people screeching over bugs, though—another Bachelor first!

This is frightening me!  The producers knew what they were doing when they let him have the floor, so on one hand it seems like they were letting him "audition". But on the other hand, they have to know how disliked he is both for what he did/said, and for how his affect is just so flat. I just have to hope that they gave him the "audition" time because there wasn't much else to fill the show with!

I think it was all about the timing.   This was filmed a couple of weeks ago, and the episode just aired a week ago.    Tptb probably assumed he got a bad reaction, but this was filmed before they were sure.   Or they edited both shows to be sure that when they announced their Bachelor next week, there wouldn’t be blowback from unhappy Xavier fans.

I admit to having some wine while viewing, so I possibly wasn't paying full attention, but what the hell was up with the FP thing? I get that they didn't like him, but the secret code in social media messages was so extraordinarily weird. Like, if he doesn't know it's about him and no one else knows what it refers to, what's the point of doing it?

Xavier's apology to him felt like another part of the Bachelor audition slash damage control for how badly he came across in his last episode.

Now that I've seen him on the show, he doesn't come across as creepy anymore, so that's good.

I think the show wardrobe and styling isn't doing him any favors, the slick suit makes him look like a certain type of guy, but in his own environment and in his own clothes, he comes across quite sincere and nice.

I don't fully understand how his kids and grandkids are supporting this, if your parents were married that long, it can be hard to see the surviving parent with ONE new person, let alone 25 new people on TV and getting raked across the coals on social media (which will happen, no matter how nice he may be).

This was a super dull Men Tell All and dragging out 3 random past Bachelorettes was such a silly time-filler. Especially Deanna, who didn't find her husband on the show, and isn't even married to her non-show husband anyway. Was JoJo tied up with something else? Rachel Lindsay is still with her F1 too, but I don't see her appearing on the show again.

yeah my dad was about 77 when my mom died, and he started dating a couple years later, and ended up spending his last 7 or so years with a lovely lady, which I was fine with. But I can't imagine him acting like a gigolo or whatever. That would not make me happy AT ALL.

I know that this is an unpopular position but I’m not sure that what Xavier said was so awful.  I mean basically he was telling her he wasn’t sure he was ready to commit but wanted more time.  He did it in relationship to cheating but, if was telling the truth, he wasn’t a serial cheater but had a fling at the end end of his relationship.  Is that still bad?  Yes.  Did his ex have a right to be angry? Yes.  But he was telling someone who likely was sleeping with two other people that week.  And had told two other men that she loved them.

i think Charity was so upset because like most leads she thinks that she is entitled to decide who gets to stay or go and expects them all to agree with her feelings.  So Xavier had done a bad thing by not letting her dump him earlier.  Instead she sent Aaron home who she is not going to pick anyway.

Xavier’s biggest problem is that someone keeps giving him a shovel.

Exactly.  She was about to cheat on him, and that's okay, but not okay for him to cheat on an ex when she knows nothing about their relationship.  And I highly doubt he told his vacation fling that he was in love.
