Yeah maybe she was raised in Italy by parents who spoke something other than Italian.  They spent a lot of time on the autism but haven’t mentioned that she’s trans yet and I don’t think she could pass as a cis female.

First Look.  So we meet Christian and Cleo.  He's a fun extroverted swinging guy and she is an introverted autistic and trans. But so far they concentrate on her autism and love of astrology.  Her friend seems a bit odd. We got a glimpse of behind the curtain and saw production crew (i think that was the highlight for me in this sneak peek!). Crew seemed a bit awkward about being talked to.

We found out that Gino must have took one of his little blue pills and woke Jasmine up with his little purple eggplant.  Again, Gino had trouble finishing what he started.  That could be because of the little blue pill and the fact that Gino is so use to being alone with Mr. Lefty and porn that he just cannot finish. I can't understand Gino's financials. The guy is cheap. But he's ok with paying for sugar babies and paying for their time to spend it with him which must cost a fair bit of money.  But he's not ok with spending money on his wife so she looks like a sugar baby.  I wonder if Gino is still funding his sugar baby habit and trying to cut costs with Jasmine.

We did see a sneak peek of slime ball Riley who has this game with  Violet on whomever touches the other first loses. To me that adds more fuel to the fire that the the guy is a major douche bag.

I was appalled by Gino's rejection of Jasmine. Was that there first night together this trip? He was like a baby hiding his head in the pillow. There are excuses, and there is this. Jasmine was being kind and patient but that won't last forever. I don't buy that Gino feels like she orders him around and so that makes her sexually unappealing to him. With the kitchen peeler, she had to keep repeating to him that she didn't have anything else and he was refusing to use anything other than that ---- grow up. I'd be annoyed with him and wouldn't have shown that much patience. Gino looks at it like she's seriously disrespecting him, not realizing that he can test anyone's patience with his closed mind and attitude.

I missed last week's show because I was on vacation, but saw it yesterda  before tonight's 20 min preview show, so hopefully I'm commenting on the new show.

I know Jasmine is dramatic but I can't help liking her. (Of course that can always change; I hated her during her last tell-all).

Regarding Gino and helping Jasmine with the dinner prep: I would have refused to peel vegetables with the knife she expected him to use. A paring knife, fine. But a knife with a 7" blade? Absolutely not. That's dangerous. I'm not gonna risk losing the tip of a finger to peel a potato.

But honestly, dinner prep issues are the very least of their problems. (I'll probably write more about them later).

Amanda and Razvan: if you're a woman and the least bit insecure, don't try to have a relationship with a bartender, DJ, musician, actor, etc. Success in all of these fields depends, in part, on flirting with women. Do you really think it's fair to get involved with someone and then pressure them to stop doing what they enjoy - what they've found some success doing? 

When a man starts telling a woman what she can and cannot do; who she can and cannot hang out with, we properly label that behavior "controlling". But when women do the same to men in the name of jealousy (which comes from insecurity), I rarely see people condemn it with as much fervor. Why? 

I don't think women - or men - should pander to a partner's insecurities.

Amanda had no business on social media looking for a partner.  That woman needs to be in therapy.  I believe she kept rebuffing Razvan because she either felt guilty or realized she made a mistake in going to Romania.  

I hope Gino has the good sense to insist that Jasmine signs a prenup before they get married.  If her ex was so great, I wonder why they aren't still together.  

I knew something was different about Cleo, but I wasn't expecting her to be autistic.  However, I don't know about Christian.  I think she is in for ride.

I have to confess, this is one of those times when I dislike someone for how they "appear" rather than for who they are. I'm hoping I begin to like Amanda, but right now, I can't stand watching when she's on. I realize she probably has RBF, but she just seems miserable. She's reading too much into the random things a 4 year old says. She's also expecting others to follow her strict diet, when that's on her. Why didn't she send him a list of foods she can eat. So far, she seems to turn up her nose at everything, and I don't see what Razan sees in her. (But for that matter, I don't know what she sees in him, either.)

I like Cleo's complete honesty (a nice attribute of autism) but I think Christian will struggle with being straight forward about anything. She considers herself "odd" whereas I see Christian as being odd. As well, any guy who runs that hot and cold, so quickly, isn't in it for the long haul. I'm not sure what his real end game is, but I'm sure we'll find out.

Does anyone else think Gino has autism? I figured with his way of speaking, and his various tics, he might have Asperger's.

Just due to my counseling experiences, I immediately recognized Cleo has certain trans characteristics, but I initially checked myself for arriving at that conclusion so quickly. But when she stated it halfway through the show, I thought, okay. However, if Cleo hasn't had her reassignment surgery, I don't know how fair this relationship will be, or whether there's even a future.

Not if he's saying he's insisting he's "straight AF". That comment alone was very biased. I'm hetero, but even I recognize the beauty of my own gender. I question the validity of Christian's interest.

Frankly, the word transgender was never used 20 years ago. You were either transsexual, or not. Transgender is now being used both in place of transsexual,  transvestism, cross dressing and sometimes even for drag. That's too confusing for many people.

(I actually miss the LGBTQ language of the 2000s. Nowadays it's too micro-defined, without being actually being defined)

If we were to address Cleo's situation, we'd determine she's transexual if she's planning to have, or has had, gender reassignment surgery.

If Cleo has not had the surgery, she is a cross dresser. Both possibilities are fine because it allows the potential suitor to understand what is needed of them. Just being "trans" doesn't allow any insight into what is expected of a mate.

I'd like to think if I were young and dating, I'd be more "pansexual" than anything, as I do fall in love with "the person". But I'd want to know what was expected of me, sexually, otherwise, what's the point? I don't need more "friends".

Cleo/Christian.  First I mentioned this in the chat but I am thinking these two might just be in it for the social media exposure and not really a couple.  If anyone is interested, there is a rom com called Boy Meets Girl (i think it's on tubi for free) about a trans woman. Kind of sad at points.  Warning there is a shot of her fully naked at one point.  

Riley continues to be a douchebag.  The pearls looked like they were purchased from Walmart or Target.  

Amanda continues to be a wet blanket.  Honestly, why doesnt she just call it quits, go to a hotel for the rest of the stay in Romania and explore the city?  Or get an early ticket home.

Gino and Jasmine continue to argue over a prenush which is stupid because Jasmine can get a lawyer and get the prenush to protect herself regardless on who calls it quits first.  Otherwise, just don't marry Gino.  Really - girl has options and has the upper hand in this relationship.

OK, of all these couples, I think only David and Sheila and Riley & Violet are "real" couples. The rest are in this looking for exposure to either advance some entertainment career or build a career as an influencer. 

Christian----just wants to show the world how edgy he is by dating a trans woman. Cleo wants to advance her modeling career and probably thinks she can be the first trans supermodel. I did LOL when he said if he didn't tell his friends and family that Cleo is trans, they wouldn't know. I knew within 5 mins of seeing her on the tv----the strange inflection in her voice (combo of hormones and trying to sound feminine), and oh yeah, the visible Adam's apple. I see these two as the same as Alina (Russian little person) with the dude from AZ who's name I can't remember. Not going to have any real chemistry when they actually meet and just sort of plod along showing us all how difficult life is living as a trans person. 

Amanda---already trying to build her social media influencer career. She bitches she wants "American food" but then also "I don't eat any processed foods." Um, well turn in your southern girl card woman. She totally wants to be "look at me y'all, just a young widow, trying to raise my kids right and in a healthy way in the south. Follow me for tips." Razvan is the Romanian Soulja Boy, but he does actually seem to like Amanda and has been putting in effort, which Usman didn't do for either one of his marks, er, "fiances". Oh and yeah, she has big time RBF and is a moron. 

I don't blame Riley for being a little annoyed that his first full day she has stuff to do after such a long trip. I think Violet is sort of playing hard to get, but it may backfire with this one. I did LOL at his gift and her lack of reaction. Yeah, they were NOT real pearls, not on an elastic band. Then again, he did spend $$$ a lot on his plane ticket and I am sure has sent her $$ over the years so...would it have killed her to give him a kiss that he at least made a gesture? I mean, I am sure Jasmine saw this and thought WTF, be grateful he didn't show up with an electric toothbrush bish! 

Nicola----WTF does Meisha see in him? There have to be Catholic zealots that are at least attractive and dont' seem so....stunted. She is a bit wacky, but she is very attractive and seems successful. It was their first night. Gino said that he was too stressed about Jasmine's financial demands to want sex - which I can sort of believe. I'm sure he is spending every dime he has on her. In addition to his own costs in the US, he is paying $3,000/month for her apartment and, I think, all of her other costs. So he's worried about that plus his belief that his rather modest home in the US won't be enough for her when they get there (and he is right - it won't be). 

I don't think that Jasmine was being "kind and patient." I think that Jasmine believes her only value to a man is as a sex partner (which is sad). So when she can't engage Gino sexually, I think she worries she will lose him - her meal ticket.  I have a hard time being concerned for either one of them as I think they are both using each other to get what they want. They would be better off just being straightforward about that and negotiating from there.

Based on my experience at a religious college: there are some women that think if they can get the pious guy that no other woman has been with it must mean that that said woman is a super special bible barbie and they are the ultimate religious “it” couple.  Sadly, those women are too stupid to realize that the guy hasn’t been touched by a woman because he isn’t desirable to 99.5% of the population.  There is something really, really, really off about Meisha and I’m surprised she is able to hold down a job and raise kids.  Bless her heart.

I was confused by Cleo's accent. It sounds like a combination of several different European accents mixed in with the speech patterns of someone who was born deaf, but learned to speak. I was pretty horrified by Christian and his band of transphobic hipsters' discussion of Cleo's body parts, though. The hair gets damaged through wear and heat styling etc. It also sheds over time (depending on the kind of extensions they are - sewn-in wefts last longer than microbeads) making the overall hair less voluminous. When I was still getting extensions, I paid about $300 for each package of hair and used about 6 packages. I'm itty-bitty and have a smaller head, so 6 did the trick for me, but it was ridiculously expensive.

Razvan is a good-looking guy.  He is from Romania which is part of the European Union.  He can travel around the world somewhat freely.  He has a visa for the US, which he obtained without Amanda’s help.  I don’t understand why he is wasting his time with her.  She is a wet blanket.  If he wants to move to boost his career, I am sure there are thousands of women in Europe and the US who would be happy to have him. 

I tend to tune out Gino and Jasmine.  Their interactions do not seem real.  It's as if they are reading from cue cards.

Jasmine's cry! Haven't heard such a fakey cry since Lucy accidentally destroyed William Holden's footprints on "I Love Lucy!"  (Or was it John Wayne's? I don't remember...I was little!)

So far I like Riley and would also feel annoyed if the person I traveled across the world to see made other plans on day #2. I don't like Violet. I think she said to her girlfriends that she "liked to tease men" to get them mad.  How charming and cute. Not. Agree that the pearl jewelry was very cheap, but still, could Violet have taken the high road and shown some appreciation? I guess she expected expensive gold jewelry and what she received was a step above garbage that meant nothing to her. I don't know Riley's budget but maybe this was the best he could do. Plus many men don't have a clue about jewelry and don't want to shell out much.

It didn't take long for Jasmine to lose it over the prenup. To have a yelling fit and then telling Gino she flat out wasn't going to marry him if they had one --- pay attention, Gino, this is a big red flag. Then he tried to renegotiate, but Jasmine wouldn't have it. She has no idea what a simple life Gino has back at home in his modest home. She's not going to go for it; she wants to live very well and not on her dime. Gino, don't touch your 401K. And if she truly loves you, she needs to consider getting a job. Or does she have one?

She pushed a pie into William Holden's face, then lit her own fake nose on fire later on.  It was indeed John Wayne's footprints she (and little Ricky) destroyed.
