Doing some more digging, I found his obituary, from March of 2022. They lived in northern Florida, at least at the time of his death, where his parents and siblings live, and he has 2 other children who lived in Idaho.

If she described him as only a friend to her kids then why did her son ask if she would be sleeping in his bed?  And did she lie when she said she would be sleeping on the couch?  Sometimes kids say random things but I’m sure her kids have overheard her acting lovey dovey with him on video calls.

Her husband died March 19, 2023. Razvan dedicated a TikTok to her in May 4th. (Wish I could post a link but it didn’t work)

Mandy, you have some ‘splainin’ to do…

Edited to add: Also, someone had a screenshot of when her kids called her in Romania dated August 9th. So they were in a relationship for "four months" when she went there? That would make the start of it in April!

I saw that as well. She has had a lot of tragedy in her life and I can sympathize, however, I totally agree she needs some grief counseling/therapy. She isn't doing anyone (especially her kids) any good traveling across the world for 3 weeks just to get some "d".

Given that troubled family situation, unless there was a hefty life insurance payment (and I’m not sure even then) how in the world does Amanda expect to qualify financially to sponsor a K-1 visa?

Does that mean that a) Amanda is lying about how long she and Jason were married, b) Jason had another family at the same time he was married to Amanda or c) he left this woman Linda in 2010 for Amanda.

Amanda, despite her widowhood is shady as fuck IMHO.  I think the only reason she and Razan did the show is for exposure for Razan's budding career.

The timeline of Jason dying and Amanda hooking up with Razvan is also pretty blurry.  Like, ink barely dry on the death certificate blurry.

I think it’s likely Amanda and her husband started seeing each other while he was still married (just based on math and human behavior).

 

Are you using the phrase “hooking up” in a sexual sense or do you mean when they started talking?

Maybe she had fallen out of love with her husband before he got sick and that was why she was able to move on so quickly.

Even if she didn’t love him any more- his short illness and death at such a young age is a SHOCK. An emotional and logistical shock, just in how her daily life was run- I think it’s more likely her love for her husband has nothing to do with this, Razvan is a bandaid in her very real and too painful emotions. Like how many grief spend or eat or turn to alcohol.

Maybe when Jason told her to find someone else she thought he meant right away.

a) yes, she's fudging on the timeline with Razvan. 
b) Jason had another family in 2010 when he met Amanda, but must have been divorced by 2014 when he married her. 
c) he met Amanda in 2010 when she was 18 and worked with him at Hooters. My guess is that he and Linda had recently separated and he left Idaho for Louisiana.

I fully believe this woman is focused on finding a partner because she does not know how to be alone, but I still think Razvan is an emotional bandaid rather than a logistical choice to maintain security for herself and her kids. 

If this was primarily about finding a partner/co-parent she would be on apps/dating sites/the social scene at HOME looking for guys in their 30s with a stable income who were open to being a step parent. Not talking to models on Instagram.

Well her ex wasn’t hot so maybe she just wants to experience what that is like for a change.  But yeah she shouldn’t do it at the detriment of the kids.

So Amanda spent this episode making very good arguments for why she has no fucking business being in Romania!!!!!

If she thinks that having Razvan visit on a tourist visa is more disruptive for her kids than her traveling half-way around the world, and then popping Razvan on them a year later when they have only 90 days to get to know him before he becomes their step-father, she's even worse than I thought.  She's repugnant.

And, is it just me, or do all of those filming lights Razvan has set up in his bedroom give really creepy vibes?

Whew ! I'm glad it's not just me that noticed them, not your average $30 ring lights that's for sure.  Although I'm not sure if I would have used the word creepy when they could just be the film crews' lights that we don't usually see & his apartment is small or they could be for a porno shoot later, either way not creepy just strange that they're there.

Apparently he does live streams on TikTok (they showed him doing one in a park) so it’s probably for that.  If he is trying to make it in showbiz he is likely super vain and wants perfect lighting.

There is no way Amanda's visit takes place at the end of 2022 / beginning of 2023 as she claims. They are very clearly wearing summer clothes and not outfits and outerwear that would be required in Romania in the winter! In the last episode on the rooftop bar she was in a tank and he was in a tee shirt.

After hearing what's she's been through the last few years, I feel bad for her and I think she's feeling very lost right now. She's just extremely unhappy, possibly depressed.
