I think they gave Tyler (ugh) a heads up when everyone lost their shit about him bringing up BLM to Da'Vonne and then reneging on whatever it was he had said he was going to do. And then he got bribed with a phone call to Angela Mother and an uninterupted QVC pitch for Mother's jewelry line in the HoH and all was right with the world. They've definitely done it more in recent seasons.

I don't remember most of those instances, but I trust ya'll!  After the refreshers,  I sort of do remember Jack's warning.  But compared to some of that shit, what Nicole is doing isn't the worst.  Don't get me wrong she's being mean, but others have done so much worse without warnings... Aryn.

Watch them somehow spin it by finding a really unflattering moment of Taylor's - like when she was drunk and said something obnoxious about how her face won her multiple pageants - and make her out to be the villain.

Nicole apparently threatened to beat Taylor’s ass so they may have just warned her about that and she read between the lines since they’ve also obviously warned a couple others (Paloma and Daniel) about the microaggressions.

In recent years, with social media the way it is, the show tries to control this stuff a bit more than the old days, when there had to be a HUGE deal made in the media for them to finally tell Amanda in BB15 to tell everyone to cut the racist shit out (which, of course, made Amanda believe that she must be the star of the season).

Kyle, Monte, and Joe are maybe making a mistake though in not getting Taylor/Michael/Brittany involved in this yet. I get it but like they’re banking on those 3 being down with it and that’s not guaranteed. It’s likely, but not guaranteed.

I definitely remember that, it just bothered me that at the beginning of the season (which was so awful) Candace and Howie had to deal with such horrible stuff, and when Aryn came out and was interviewed by Julie she acted so completely shocked and surprised.   

But I absolutely agree that they are much more likely to do something in recent years.  I just thought it seemed like odd placement this time.  Is Nicole being awful? Yes.  Compared to some of the other stuff that's gone down over the years? Not the worst.

I don't think they warned Nicole. But the DR would be remiss if they didn't ask her something like "Do you think it's coming across well that you're spending 23 hours of the day holed up with Daniel to shit talk Taylor?"

Which is what Daniel and Nicole do.

Franzel and Dani got warned in BB22 about the Ian's comments. I remember Dani asking Cody if he was warned by the DR lol. He had a WTF look I only remember it because it was one of the few times Cody made me laugh.

I do think that the players get warned. In past years, BB has gotten a lot of backlash for not putting a stop to it. Now they try to stop it right away.

I'm down. Ameerah hasn't given me a reason to dislike her, Terrance is barely there. Reverse blindside? Win-win.

Ameerah and Terrence acre both horrible imo. Ameerah is so cocky and she is running the place right now so I would like to see her taken down a peg at least. So yea, could be fun if guys plan to BD her but it fails. She would be ever more power mad if that happened though and I don't know if I could take it.

I still sort of like Ameerah, at least as a player, so am down for the reverse blind-side. I keep forgetting Terrence is even there. I’ve found myself thinking a few times he was the first eviction, which shows how much I just LOVE this season. Sigh.

Why?  Because interestingly, the guys are coming around to liking her, but the women (minus Brittany and Indy) are still suffering from Paloma’s virus.

I have never understood Daniel’s extreme hate toward Taylor. It started when Paloma was around and convincing everyone that Taylor was a liar and the evilest evil who ever eviled, but somehow Daniel ran with that and made it personal. And now he’s convinced Nicole, who used to have empathy towards Taylor, that she’s a horrible person. Groupthink is a scary thing.

I think it's redirected (and misplaced) rage that HIS HoH was such a bust because of Paloma leaving and Taylor staying.

Alyssa, Nicole, and Daniel all irk my soul. They spend about 23 hours a day lazing around in bed shit talking and complaining. Why come on the show if you just spend it lying in bed shit talking?

Watching the women’s alliance implode is so very disappointing, because they’re following all the stereotypes:

Indy’s hard push for Pooch to be voted out was based on emotion, not gameplay. She just hated him, and worked hard to get the others on her side.

The Taylor hate that started with Paloma, but continues with Jasmine and Nicole, is similarly based on emotion rather than reason.

Alyssa is making an idiot of herself over a guy who could not care less, and you know she’s ditch her alliance if he’d just give her a wink.

Meanwhile, the guys are being nothing but rational and strategic. It’s so annoying.

Kyle, Michael and Turner are talking about Taylor. They feel she has been mistreated by the girls, and could be a good ally for them. They’ve been talking to her, and giving her reassurances that she could find a home with them.

It seems Alyssa has also been spilling girl’s girls secrets to Kyle (I knew it), and based on that he’s starting to realize that Paloma was full of shit and Taylor was not the evil liar she was made out to be.
