Frankel’s Instagram shows Paul wearing pajamas with a Frankel face print. I think she’s wearing pajamas with a Paul face print.

🤮

my niece got socks with their infant’s face for her husband for Christmas. That is awesome and cute.

Dear Frankel, what would have been appropriate is if Paul had gotten you clothes with Brynn’s face on it (but still creepy)

“her favorite childhood vacay destination Lake Geneva in Wisconsin.”

Really???  Is she from Illinois originally?   It is/was a big playground for Chicago/Illinois people.

Also, thanks for sharing how much sex you are having, Kelly.  🙄

She was from Rockford.

Lake Geneva is paradise :)

Not one photo of Kelly B's fiance? Just her ?

I give that marriage one year.

She's got issues, as they say.

You all probably know this.

My DVR captured Scary Island. It is still fascinating to me. I don’t understand how Kelly’s brain works. The only way it makes any sense at all is if she was interpreting ANYthing they said or did- - that was not 100% stroking her ego and reassuring her - - as bullying, antagonistic or contrary. Maybe it began with them discussing other people; she claims to hate gossip. So if that upset her, she was probably more sensitive to any other comments that were not effusively complimentary. Then she decides to “defend” herself from the “bullying” by criticizing and mocking the others.

And supposedly, she’s an amazing real estate agent? How is this possible? Even when she is calm and with people who like her, she still comes across as stupid and ridiculous.

Same here, I watch it like a post mortem study, the way Kelly processes information is stupefying, nothing makes sense and why is everything creepy to her? I think it was well known that Bethenny did not have a close relationship with her father so why is Kelly creeped out by her being on that trip?  Her pop culture references were odd as was her reaction to the Skinny Girl swag bag...the oddest thing was her insisting that Bethenny was talking to the press about Kelly, no proof and certainly no motive.

How does Kelly deal with clients and not scare them away?

Your entire post. 100%.

Kelly also insisted that every night Frankel tried to kill her.

I am listening to a podcast, Behind the Velvet Rope, 9.13.21. David Yontef seems to be a fan. But he understands Scary Island much more than Kelly does. She seems to have not reflected on her behavior in the least. She still believes that others had/have this preconceived idea of her as “someone [the paparazzi are] always photographing.” Someone who’s always “going to parties.” She thinks that it was very intimidating for the other housewives. Yontef and she discuss how Kelly running on Fifth Avenue is iconic. I’m up here, and you’re down there is “iconic.”

Scary Island. Kelly claims that when “people are really scared that they are going to be called out, they do really nasty things.”

“I don’t need to make others feel bad so I feel better.” Said the person who kept insisting that Frankel was not a chef.

”It’s fun to have Barbie walk in the room. But Barbie has feelings, too.”

She’s proud that her episodes, including Scary Island, are popular among viewers. Everyone talks about Kelly’s seasons, even though she only filmed 2-3 seasons. Kelly: “It’s crazy. So fun. So fun!”

I’ll admit to disliking Kelly from the jump. Like pretty literally the 1st thing she ever said on the show made me roll my eyes. It was something about if she shows up hours late to your party you should be grateful she showed up at all because she’s so fabulous and in demand or something. I noped out right there and she never got me back. However I will say she is also kind of fascinating. Just trying to figure out how she ticks is pretty interesting. To me she seemed like some combination of short attention span and low empathy. She couldn’t seem to under other people as having needs or feelings apart from her own needs and feelings and her communication style was so scattered she couldn’t really express whatever it was she thought was happening. So she thinks Bethany is creepy. Fair enough, I like Bethany but I know a lot of people don’t, but she can’t express why clearly and can’t conceive that other people have different feelings and can’t self regulate or self-sooth but also can’t see that any of this is about her. She’s…something

Abso-flipping-lutely! She expresses herself like a middle school student.
In my opinion, Kelly intimidated Frankel, and Frankel intimidated Kelly.

Kelly definitely hurt Frankel’s feelings every time she’d meet her, not acknowledging that they had met previously. But Kelly will only pay attention when meeting people, if she thinks she can benefit from a new friendship.

Kelly will never understand that, after arriving late, the way she spoke to the others at the juvenile arthritis fundraiser meeting was obnoxious. As soon as Frankel said, “Who does she think she is, Madonna?” (or whatever she said), Kelly shut down, because she believes negative/critical people don’t deserve her time or attention.

Also, after Jill explains why they hope to raise a lot of money and raise awareness and how it’s personal to her because Ally suffers from juvenile arthritis, Kelly says, “That’s cute.” Later, she remarks that Ally is adorable, and it comes across as if Kelly is eager to help because Ally is adorable.

When Frankel reminds her that Kelly said, “I’m here, and you’re here,” Kelly thinks Frankel is accusing her of being high.

Kelly claims in a podcast that Frankel and she actually got along off-camera.

It’s so bizarre watching Kelly interacting with her daughters. I think they have normal brain function. I wonder when they figured out that communicating with their mother would be challenging for the rest of their lives.

I just watched the scene in which Frankel and Kelly are trying again in Ally’s bedroom to have a polite conversation.

Kelly processes interactions and behavior in whatever way will make her the most comfortable. Her interpretation often has nothing in common with what actually transpired. This actually might be her coping mechanism. She can dismiss anyone who upsets her, confuses her or makes her feel inadequate. She has an image of herself that does not reflect reality, but it allows her to be happy. She doesn’t have to address any issues that are difficult or that make her uncomfortable.
She senses quickly what her subconscious perceives as threats and will shift the dialogue to protect herself.

It's funny - after news of the split came out posters on FB and reddit were all 'Kelly is a really good mom! Good for her!' My immediate thought was that Kelly was trying to soak this guy and he refused to acquiesce to her terms. Kelly's youngest daughter is 24 and Giles has money if the kids need it. I'll also go so far as to presume Giles actually foot the bill for the Centre St apartment. But Kelly is trying to sell the broken engagement as some kind of socio-political feminist statement.

I refuse to believe KKB is actually selling real estate herself. I think Douglas Elliman likes being in Page Six and junior agents are actually doing the work. There is zero chance Kelly is capable of presenting a multi-million dollar property because she simply cannot stop talking about herself long enough to do so, nevermind appraisals, inspections and dealing with people Kelly would deem beneath her.

In case it's not clear I have a real problem with Kelly. I know some people find her an interesting watch but since her first reunion I have found her to be an incredibly triggering egomaniac.

She never gave feminist vibes.

I couldn’t agree with you more.

Kelly is not intelligent nor is she book smart. She interprets everything literally. She responded to “letting her hair down” in a typically laughable way. If another broker/agent showed her a Jack and Jill bathroom, Kelly would believe that only a brother and sister could share the bathroom.

She bragged that she only ate organic or natural foods. While scarfing down gummy bears. Frankel pointed out that gummy bears don’t grow on vines. Kelly dismissed Frankel since gummy bears are “fun.”

Kelly would reassure a buyer that a condo/coop passed inspection. When the buyer complains that the unit has termites, Kelly would insist that termites are cute, and the buyer is being creepy.

If a potential buyer asked if there was deeded parking, Kelly would say yes, simply because a similar building had deeded parking. When the buyer finds out that the parking is not deeded, Kelly would reply, “How should I know?”

Never mind how often Kelly would show up late to an appointment and not apologize.

Kelly probably considers herself a feminist, because she posed for Playboy and denounces gossiping.

Watched the Berkshires/Made it nice/You f- - - everyone/Tipsy Girl episodes again.

The egos and delusion are off the charts. Spectacularly shocking.

Bravo & the various production companies manipulate us into hating every single housewife, with only a couple of exceptions (i.e., most one-season cast members). But then we are reluctantly and shamefully rooting for Frankel, only because she’s voicing how most of us feel about Lu’s arrogant, pretentious, hypocritical behavior.

Lu’s Countess clothing line was so HIDEOUS. Shiny, beaded fringe accents, burgundy lace jumpsuits.

Lu’s smug giddiness, with regard to D’Agostino “wanting to marry her” (Tom blurting it out immediately after, probably in the top-five of his best sex sessions [pure speculation, on my part]), is iconic (not in a good way). She’s completely transparent about her feelings. Not even attempting to disguise her self-involvement, righteousness or competitive streak, or how dire her need for attention from men.

Frankel’s shorter hair was almost the same length as Lu’s. Frankel also has darkish brown hair (that she added highlights to). Those are about the only similarities I saw. But, apparently, Frankel told her hairstylist to give her The Countess.

I still don’t understand why Frankel flipped out about Tipsy Girl.

Also, I haven’t seen evidence that Lu tried to claim that she was instrumental in the concept of a Skinnygirl margarita. I can only see (paraphrasing):

Frankel: … I only order skinny girl’s margaritas.

Lu: Oh, okay. I’ll have a Skinnygirl margarita, too.

Reading that was a hit of beautiful nostalgia...I miss the old days of this franchise.
