I love JLD but she's won enough Emmy's to last a lifetime.  Tony Hale won two of the last three years.  Would be great to get some wins for others.  Could this be the year Anna Chlumsky finally wins - after the season she has seemingly had the least screen time?

ITA. She is fabulous in whatever she does, so she's hard to beat. I think she should pull herself out of competition l ike Candace Bergen did with Murphy Brown.

New S6 promo!

Yay, thank you!! I'm a spoiler addict, and it's very frustrating that I can never find any spoilers or news for Veep. I didn't even know the premiere date for S6 until you posted the teaser. April 16 is practically right around the corner (though I quietly weep that GOT won't air on the same night as Veep anymore). I don't know why Richard is suddenly a part of Selena's entourage and not attached to Jonah's hip but if it means we get more Richard, I'll take it. I also don't know how much of the supporting cast is returning but I really hope Kent and Ben will still be around. Their yin and yang dynamic cracks me up.

A photographic collage of BTS photos for each remaining Season 6 episode was released. Some points of interest:

6x02 "Library": Shot of sign for "Hughes Library, Riverside, California."

6x03 "Georgia": Doyle giving a speech. Minna Hakkinen (former PM of Finland played by Sally Phillips) and Selina. Dude in a cowboy hat with a cow in what looks like a parking lot.

6x04 "Justice": Montez giving a speech. Selina being attended on by a doctor in a hotel room (?). Selina dressed in black walking with Mike, Richard and Amy. A church service. (...A funeral?)

6x05 "Chicklet": Amy and Dan. Gary and Richard at National Volunteer Week (Selina volunteering was in one of the Season 6 teasers or trailers). A sign advertising a "special evening with Jonah Ryan."

6x06 "Qatar": Selina walking with the President of China and his entourage. Selina, Gary and her parasol (another scene shown in one of the Season 6 trailers).

6x07 "Blurb": Montez with Furlong and Jim Marwood.

6x08 "Birthday": Greg (CNN journalist played by Scott Adsit) and Dan.

6x09/6x10: Jonah in a hospital bed.

Flip the Script (JLD and Tony Hale re-enact a scene from S4.E6 but trade roles)

The “Veep” cast reacted after reports broke that Australian MP Graham Perrett was eating sushi while watching an episode of the show on Sunday night, choked on his food, and knocked himself unconscious.

He was watching the scene in  the first episode of this season, where Dan catches Jonah shaving his head in order to pretend he still has cancer.

SAG award nominations:

Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Comedy Series - JULIA LOUIS-DREYFUS
Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Comedy Series

Julia won in her category and Veep won in the ensemble category, so Julia now has the record for most SAG Awards won by a single person (she won five for Seinfeld and four for Veep).
