Sort of bizarre that they haven’t announced a date for Netflix yet.

I worried that they haven't. We better be getting the new season.

Given how many immigrants to Britain from elsewhere have been contestants, I've always wondered whether they'd ever cast an American living in Britain, and it looks as if they finally have. (I know he may in fact be a British citizen, given her arrived in 1979.)

Why wouldn't they?

I wasn't suggesting there's a reason they wouldn't (although the American franchise is closer to the British Bake Off than other countries', given it has the same judges). I was just wondering if/when they would.

Be aware that there are numerous spoilers for what happened during episode 2 all over the internet.  They are unavoidable, and may just pop up on one of your feeds.  You don't even need to read them, it's just in the title.

No comment or commitment from Dylan and Sumayah, but kinda sweet nonetheless:

But they all visit each other. . . . I follow several former bakers and they often get together with bakers from their seasons 1:1 and as a group. Hell, Matty had all of the bakers from his season at his wedding.

I love both of them, but do not understand why every male/female interaction has to have an are they/aren't they spin.  Didn't the media do it with Chigs and Lottie too?

Its a bit of a sore spot with me for reasons, but still. Either speculate for everyone when they catch up, regardless of gender, or just leave it alone.

They are both cutie pies, no matter what!

It doesn't even have to be male/female. While Season 10 (by the UK numbering) was airing, some gossips tried to suggest that there was something going on between Henry and Michael at the same time others were implying that Henry and Alice were dating.
