It's either his marriage or his family, and I'm surprised he didn't resolve that earlier on unless he wanted to drag out the TV and the sex. I tend to procrastinate (until I HAVE to do whatever it is) , but Summeat makes me look like General Douglas MacArthur. If he chooses the marriage they have to move to another country. End of.

I was surprised that the brother and SIL were so intransigent. And that the Mom is still such a mess, but maybe she needs to be in counseling and to tell the busybodies, "There is nothing I can do about this, what's done is done. I don't see them, and that's hard enough. If you were a real friend, you would still support me because I could not control this."   

She and Dad raised a son w/no ambition. But Jenny accepts Summeat. He's happy. Maybe his Mom should try looking in a mirror instead of just at friends' gossip.
