People need to watch the video to get the full effect.  The dress!!  The veil!!  Oh wow.

I didn't know you could make a wedding dress out of pot scrubbers!  I guess it's the perfect fundie wedding dress; wear it today, clean the kitchen with it tomorrow.  The thing doesn't even fit her properly, she could smuggle watermelons in that bodice.

That space camp, space station or whatever it is would not be my idea of a scenic location for a wedding, to each his own.

The whooping and hollering as the bride was coming down the aisle was so tasteful and respectful of the moment.  Does this bride not have parents?  Why wasn't her original headship walking her down the aisle to pass her along to the next man?

I don't know whose wedding that is and why she is dressed like that. I'm not seeing the beauty that others see with Esther. But that's one of those benefits of different perspectives.

Esther is dressed like she's playing the lounge in Vegas.  She has a nice figure, especially after a couple of kids; but, to me, she looks tacky and highly overdressed as a daytime wedding guest.  Many people would accuse her of trying to steal attention from the bride although there's little chance of that in this particular case.

One thing I've noticed with the former Gothardite ladies, once they let go of the Little House on the Prairie dress code, they tend to veer right off into too tight, too shiny, too revealing.

Looking at the bride in her entirety; her dress, veil, hair and makeup; it's almost hard to look away and I don't mean that in a good way.  Remember when Donna went to the dance on 90210 in the fluffy red dress?  I think that was her inspiration along with Barbie along with a dash of Loretta Tortelli from Cheers.  Hard to believe she dressed like that unironically.

Nathan wore a tux, so I think there was a formal dress code. Esther posted another picture of another woman in a similar dress as hers.

Spacy, I guess, given the location. 🙄

It did appear to be a black tie event, even though it was held in the daytime which is not the norm for those things.  However, I still think Esther's dress, while certainly formal, was over the top for a guest at a wedding.  There are plenty of formal dresses that are not as tight or revealing and constructed with fewer sequins.

You're right about that. Look at Josie or Carlin. I doubt their skintight maternity dresses are fundie-approved.

Did anyone watch The Big Bang Theory?  When Amy Farrah Fowler was trying  on Wedding dresses?  Several options looked beautiful and the character chose some hideous thing that she loved. And Penny and Bernadette were horrified. And then Sheldon thought she was the most beautiful bride ever?

"You look like a pile of swans" 😂
