Perception in age of SM is everything. Interesting conversations happening today with K/J/C I imagine. Go Hannah, go Brennan! Kelli is behind the times in so many ways and whether she was too busy, or too comfortable, to keep up, it's a sad ending to MTT. She had said in the past after 15yrs she was done. Well, this is a helluva sad way to go out. She had a chance to set a example for all other teams as a progressive leader during a difficult time. Instead, her legacy will be overshadowed by her ratings chasing, favoritism and blatant hypocrisy. I used to respect her and defend her; no more. #timetoretire 15 Link to comment

Laurawithcats August 20, 2020 Share August 20, 2020 (edited) Regarding Hannahs Insta Post...Wonder if she got wind of them trying to use her supposed weight gain (if that's true) as a reason for her dismissal and wanted to set the record straight before the show aired? If it's true and TPTB were going to use her weight, she just blew that up in their faces. Kelli must be chewing and spitting nails right now. Kelli, time for you to come into this century or retire. And shame on you Kelli for putting lives at risk for a Damn TV show. There was so much opportunity to use and showcase the veterans in these extraordinary times. The dangers of Covid-19 are real and the fallout is causing many Americans unimaginable suffering. Maybe, instead of harping on candidates not utd on current events, Kelli should get to work there herself. Edited August 20, 2020 by Laurawithcats 19 Link to comment

Popular Post realityjunkie771 August 20, 2020 Popular Post Share August 20, 2020 (edited) Some thoughts: 1) Not the least bit surprised the health of the group was compromised. Sounds to me like the vets came in immediately from their weeks of work and normal life, and I imagine that means the staff did as well. It was inevitable. The girls should not have been put at unnecessary risk. 2) Hannah’s post was very carefully worded. Direct and incriminating language was left out, but the implications are clear. I definitely agree that there may be something like a lawsuit in the works. Good for her. 3) The last thing she writes is something that is important for us to remember, I think — the girls do this because they love it. There are wonderful girls on that team who are full of passion. I think we need to be careful when we call these women stupid for going in to training camp during a pandemic or for caring about being a cheerleader. Let’s remember who the offenders are here. The girls faced what seemed like an impossible decision — risk getting sick or risk losing something you love almost more than anything else. They’re the victims here — Hannah and Brennan especially. TPTB are the offenders. Let’s keep our anger where it belongs. Edited August 20, 2020 by realityjunkie771 Clarity 55 Link to comment

Dr. Donna August 20, 2020 Share August 20, 2020 New poster here. So much drama! Observations from a newbie: 1. Lilly’s arc was clearly made for TV from the start. They saw she would do whatever it took to make the team with optimism, grace, and emotional openness and took advantage. Whenever you saw her score sheets she was at a similar level to Taylor P. and Kirsten. They made her sweat last year for drama and used her as fodder this year. Sounds like they kept her in her role of Last Minute Decision until the very end. She seemed loved by her team, well spoken for appearances, and a capable dancer. She didn’t deserve this. 2. Meredith seemed kind and yet was set up to fail. If she didn’t have a shot due to her dance performance over the season they should have strongly encouraged her to be one and done. 3. Brennan and Hannah aren’t going without a fight. Purely from a PR perspective, their cuts seem...misguided. Cutting a fan favorite for ratings has backfired enough now for television shows for someone to give it pause, and it’s really hard to spin firing the COVID survivor and the team spokeswoman for mental illness awareness. Maybe in a normal season it would be easier to pull off, but it’s not a normal season. 4. I saw season 14’s Alexandra commented on Hannah’s post. I liked her! 5. I don’t blame Victoria for any her issues. She seems to act the way she’s been taught and the way that she’s always been rewarded for. I can’t get mad at a child for misbehaving, but I can get mad at the adults in the room for letting it happen. She should be able to take pride in the accomplishments she earns instead of constantly being told she deserves more. Link to comment

She was literally cut for speaking up? No current employee should ever post their grievances online -ever. It’s unprofessional and grounds for legal action. A true professional raises their concerns within the organization, which she did and she was cut not just in the last day, but during the last few hours as she says. So yes at this point, when she was dismissed for speaking -and looks like someone even got infected, proving she was right- she went public. I don’t personally understand their commitment to dcc, but I don’t doubt it’s their dream and have sacrificed a lot. Saying she shouldn’t be complaining about this reminds me of the Erica situation and how a certain alumnae said they’re not working as dccs for the money etc... yes, she only spoke up after getting cut but I say, good on her for finally getting mad enough to do something about it. I for one I’m so glad they chose to go public before Kelli had a chance to manipulate the situation to make them look bad. Erica was dropped soo fast, but Brennan and Hannah got a lot of support and to me that proves our insiders and their claim that the vets are hella mad. And last thing because I got so invested on this, that it can’t be healthy... Looks like Kelli decided to cut them at the last minute and that’s a different brand of cruel. You don’t need to wait until the last minute to decide Hannah is suddenly toxic or Brennan can’t dance through a hypothetical game day that ain’t happening anyway. Sounds more like the didn’t have enough material for the show and went with a shocking twist. 1 43 Link to comment
