Tippi December 5 Share December 5 I was expecting to see Phyllis in a skintight one shouldered body con hospital gown. This goes a ways back, but that scene of Phyllis confronting Sharon (Sharon was wearing a blue summer blouse--just the thing for Wisconsin winters) was mind blowingly dreadful. Appalling "acting" from both of them. 3 3 Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/107814-getting-to-genoa-you-all-over-again-yr-daily-chat/page/449/#findComment-8525361

MollyB December 5 Share December 5 16 hours ago, Waldo13 said: Isn’t a confession a plea of guilt? Short answer: no. The arraignment where she entered a plea (thru her lawyer) was answering to the charges presented by the DA. No one has proved anything yet although the DA is probably confident about winning the case. [ Pro Tip: always plead not guilty first, plea bargain later.] Good thing she had Michael there because the charges from the DA may be different than Sharon's emotional response to what she thinks she did. I'm just surprised they let her go home without getting a psychological exam on her and/or consulting her doctor. Maybe they could get Alan/Martin to evaluate her. =snicker= 5 1 Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/107814-getting-to-genoa-you-all-over-again-yr-daily-chat/page/449/#findComment-8525484

Joimiaroxeu December 5 Share December 5 (edited) What in the world was that schmatta Phyllis had on? And again with the thumb holes in her sleeves. I don't see anyone wearing that look but her. I'm with Billy: exactly why is Adam trying so hard to be all up in Sharon's life again? Sally's hair looked nice. Kind of an old school screen siren vibe. Meh about her coat though. Faux fur cuffs and collar on a midi or maxi length reads disco era to me, and not in a good way. I was surprised Phyllis admitted she'd been having flashbacks of a truck coming at her car right before the big accident. The revelation could eventually help to exonerate Sharon. Gah Billy is a jerk. "Sally, I may have recently graced your cooch with my peen but it meant nothing to me. In fact, I barely remember what happened. Don't catch feelings." Lucky for him Sally doesn't appear to be eager for a repeat. Bye, Christine. Take Lucy back to Toronto with you, mkay? Faith would much appreciate it. Oh stop lying, Billy! Abby's wedding dress was horrible and know it. You were just sucking up to Sally because she doesn't treat you like scum. Wow, Phyllis. You need some peanut butter to go with your jelly? Since when do you care one way or another about who Billy sleeps with? I'm glad Sally was unbothered when Phyllis tried to throw shade. I don't get why Adam has to argue with Nick about giving support to Sharon. Sharon is a grown@$$ woman and can make her own choices about whose generosity she accepts. Waldo13 December 6 Share December 6 Manic Phyllis🕷️ you’re a murder and a convicted felon but you’re still haunting the streets of GC. What’s worse than Manic Phyllis🕷️, at the start of the day, is Billy👃 trying to prove his manhood. Manic Phyllis🕷️said she saw a truck but that was quickly glossed over by Summer❄️x6 talking about Sharon’s silver SUV. I’m sure Manic Phyllis🕷️will continue to blame Sharon even if she definitely knows it was not her. NinjaPenguins December 6 Share December 6 Look at Adam, acting like he wasn’t quite recently all up in Chelsea’s grill, trying to relight the fart that was their grand romance. He can’t be alone, apparently, so he’s sniffing around Sharon. Hey, buddy, if Sharon has need of your support, she’ll call. Logically I understand why Daniel doesn’t care if Sharon gets convicted of something she didn’t do. He comes across as such a budding biscuit de la butt that I can’t be arsed to spare a teaspoon of sympathy. Justice is justice except when it’s your mom, right? Christine needs to catch a clue that taking the high road with the nut who ran her down in cold blood is a pointless exercise with zero reward. MollyB December 6 Share December 6 I have been in Seattle for the last week or so and had to binge all the shows I missed. And then I had to visit the ER for sedation. So here's my Friday (pent up for a week) Rant: Many have mentioned it, but it can't be said enough, that The Red Menace (TRM) needs to shut it about 'criminals paying for their crimes'. What part of "you got off prison time for your murder and dumping a body in a large body of water and didn't do any community service AND have been traipsing about town telling everyone how changed and wonderful you are" did not compute? Go directly to jail, do not pass go and stuff the $200. I get it. Dannyboy is seething with vengeance and wants someone to pay for his hurt. But add that to Summer's incessant need to prop her mother and you have a couple of whingey brats demanding justice from Sharon despite the facts. Also, they could at least wait for the trial. I hope the New Old Raunch burns to the ground and that fire spreads to the Old New Raunch and Colleen's heart gives out as Viktor runs back and forth between them looking for his Baby. Billy should have left drawers full of excrement to welcome Mrs. Snotnose. Would have probably killed that orchid (that they picked up at Safeway when they stopped at the Starbucks). It's nice that Nikki's hair has been attended to-the shorter cut is an improvement. But it looks shellacked and badly angled in the back and reminds me of the plastic hair on Lego people. I want Michael to get a real office and stop meeting his client in her coffee shop that TRM and her spawn frequent. I want TRM and her spawn to stop frequenting said coffee shop. I don't think I would patronize anyone who I thought killed someone I love. The croissants aren't that big. I've only got WTF for Claire and her coming of age party. Is she a ten year old trapped in a woman's body? Does her Trapper Keeper have 'Mrs. Kyle Abbott' written all over it in glitter pen? Kyle: oh, boy, so much to unpack here. First, stop knitting your brows together which wrinkles your forehead and makes you look like a creeper, especially when you add the smarmy smile. Second, try being a little nicer about the fact that your parents are falling all over each other to apologize for saving your ass from Viktor AND you're getting your (underserved) CEO job back. Tis the season, asshole. Please, can we stop the repeated exposition of everyone's feelings about the wetrickedourson plan. STFU Traci, Assley and anyone else who has an opinion. They don't matter. And Diane and Jack? Move on. Finally, can we lose the Jordan/Ian Ward story? It makes no sense (since we didn't get any build up for it) and the actors are eating the set. I have no idea how the two met or are connected, they confuse me with their reasons for helping each other and the 'disguises' are unbelievable. If, as it seems (not a spoiler), they have manipulated the Sharon/Heather/Daniel/Cassie/Faith/Lucy story to their advantage then I want to see more of just how that came about. Is Ian spying on Sharon remotely 24/7? Does he inhabit the ghost of Bloody Shirt? Extra finally: I will not suspend logic and reality to believe that Jordan got a replacement in prison and NOBODY HAS NOTICED. JG has never been in a prison, evidently. No way the CO's or inmates would not have noticed the change. You can only push a doppleganger story so far with me. End Rant. 2 6 6 3 Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/107814-getting-to-genoa-you-all-over-again-yr-daily-chat/page/449/#findComment-8526190

Joimiaroxeu December 6 Share December 6 Heh, don't worry, Nikki. Claire will be learning enough to take over the whole NE empire eventually. She didn't earn an MBA from Wharton for nothing. The rest of you Newmans will be sitting around with your thumbs up your hineys. Nikki and Phyllis have both worn royal blue recently. Quite eye-catching. Victor: get out of the way, Summer. I need to take a dump in Kyle's breakfast. Summer: okay, Grandpa! Bye! Kyle: mornin', Victor. Mmm, I love the smell of b.s. in the morning. It smells like...you. Summer, you ain't slick. Claire saw right through your attempt to make her envious over the time you spent with Harrison this morning. Man, if ever there was moment when someone clearly wanted to launch at someone else's throat but had to restrain themselves. IMO that convo between Claire and Summer at the coffeehouse was an entertaining exercise in sly double-meanings and innuendo. <golf claps> Of course Victor claimed he knew all along Diane and Jack were faking their breakup. This. Frigging. Guy. 🙄 And there it is. You knew better, Jack! You did more than poke the bear, you threw raw meat at him by letting him find you having tea in his living room. NinjaPenguins December 7 Share December 7 A Simple Recap - Beware the Genoa City Creeper You guys will never believe it, but Diane is possessed by the idea that Jack needs to have a come to bouffant talk with Kyle. Jack obviously doesn’t want to hear about his son’s manpain any more than we do. Nikki gives a treacly pep talk to her own nepo-grandbaby. Oh noes! How will our Mary Sue tell poor little Harrison that she’s… still going to see him all the time? These gripping, high stakes situations really get the blood flowing. Summer and Kyle gush over Harrison summoning an army of genetically modified ants to terrorize Mrs. Martinez or something. Kyle tells her about his parents’ ruse, and Summer looks like she’s trying to figure out if you can die from farting and belching at the same time. She actually has the gall to criticize Diane for something her own mother just got away with. Without warning, aside from the smell of moth balls and formaldehyde, the Genoa City Creeper strikes! Basically, today was all about Victor haunting various Abbotts and mumbling that their family is DOOMED! Doomed, I tell you. Are we done pretending that Victor is anything but a cursed antique from a Stephen King novel? He gets his jollies being a gleefully cruel, busybody dickhead. After creeping on Kyle, Victor gives one of his low rent Bond villain speeches to Diane and pretends he knew all along that she and Jack were faking their split. Does anyone actually make it to the office on this show? Jack nor Kyle ever arrive to the latter’s first day back embodying nepotism at Jabot. Jack makes a detour so he and Nikki can dry hump each other’s ego while pretending Nikki brings anything to the friendship. For some reason, Jack wishes her good luck in the job her reanimated skunk bought out from under his brother. Suddenly, the perverse scoundrel known as the Genoa City Creeper breaks into the raunch! I know everyone has been on the edge of their seat wondering how Kyle and Summer took Claire’s tragic, earth shattering news that she’s retiring her Cherry Poppins shtick for an asshole apprenticeship with a true master of the art. Summer makes a well timed coffee stop so that she and Claire can civilly exchange venomous fuck yous disguised as polite chitchat. Summer immediately shares Claire’s career plans with Kyle just so Claire knows who the alpha asshole is ‘round these parts. Kyle naturally thinks anything Claire does is super neat. Turns out the Creeper actually lives in the resurrected mausoleum and wants Jack to GTFO. Nikki ineffectually protests. Even though Victor will probably be given a victory over the Abbotts within a week, Jack dunks on the mustache with enough force to shatter a backboard by telling him he purchased the companies under Glissade’s umbrella. “Thanks for the discount, and toodle loo, motherfucker,” says Jack. Sort of. 1 5 2 7 Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/107814-getting-to-genoa-you-all-over-again-yr-daily-chat/page/449/#findComment-8526973

Guess, it won't last cuz, you know Braeden will threaten to walk out if Vic doesn't immediately score some kind nauseating "win". But let's enjoy him being momentarily butt-swiped by Jackie. Yeah, Nikki was blathering some useless nonsense, but I was distracted by her neon jacket & had to run to get my sunglasses. And no, Vic, nobody believes you knew Jackie & Diane were puttin' on an act. Cuz if ya did, ya woulda said somethin' to Nikki & she didn't know either. And Jackie wouldn't have been able to buy the Pissade bits & pieces for pocket change -- which Vic musta lost a bundle on cuz he wanted to dump it quick. And that's cuz he wrongly concentrated on giving Diane an empty Pissade, when she couldn't care less. Nice to see Vic being a LOSER! I wonder if that scene was shot out of order and there was no contiuity person to notice. 3 1 8 Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/107814-getting-to-genoa-you-all-over-again-yr-daily-chat/page/449/#findComment-8527481

ASpring1900 December 8 Share December 8 I LOVE Christmas decorations on soaps. I think Crimson Lights has a fun look, and I adore the mugs that come out every year. IDK what the colored box is behind the counter, but I want a closer look. I don't always love pinks and purples used in Christmas decor, but I think Society looks sharp. Looking forward to seeing the Abbott Manse lit up. It is always TOO MUCH, and I wouldn't have it any other way. I also love Claire's new hair color. I am in the boat that most women look more striking and beautiful with brown tones. 7 Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/107814-getting-to-genoa-you-all-over-again-yr-daily-chat/page/449/#findComment-8527611

I remember Carmody the makeup artist saying this all the time on that makeover show..forget the name. A guy and a girl did it from clothes to hair and makeup. 3 1 Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/107814-getting-to-genoa-you-all-over-again-yr-daily-chat/page/449/#findComment-8527712

Whatever, it looks better than the dishwater blonde color she's had going on. 2 2 2 Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/107814-getting-to-genoa-you-all-over-again-yr-daily-chat/page/449/#findComment-8528503

But omg Could she stop acting like a 15 yr old? Today she was all butt hurt that Kyle and Summer told Harrison she won’t be the nanny anymore. She actually said to Kyle ‘I thought I made it clear that I wanted to tell him.’ Well yes dear you did, but regardless of Summer’s reasons, she and Kyle are his parents and it is their responsibility to tell their child about the change, not yours. 3 2 2 2 Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/107814-getting-to-genoa-you-all-over-again-yr-daily-chat/page/449/#findComment-8528734

Joimiaroxeu December 9 Share December 9 Even Victoria's hair looked sort of reddish today. Wonder what that's all about? Is it the lighting? 🤔 Not a big surprise for Summer to want to undermine Claire's friendship Harrison. I think Summer should be ashamed of herself, trying to use an innocent child as a weapon. Does Ian seem kind of off to anyone but me? More off than usual, anyway. He acts like he's not fully in this reality. A win for Nick. He was right about Sharon's meds being tampered with. Yay. Whoa, Jordan seriously couldn't stand to see how well Claire has done for herself in GC. But what did she expect? Claire's been good at ingratiating herself from the beginning. PCP!!!!!! It's a wonder Sharon didn't throw half the town off a bridge. PCP is no joke. Kyle didn't know Summer and Chance had broken up. Don't people their age keep their social media current with status updates? Nick, Mariah, and Michael let Sharon leave home without following her. Geez, Sharon just learned some life-altering news and probably shouldn't be alone right now. Kyle is so messy, juggling Claire and Summer. This playboy wannabe can never simply be with one woman without keeping another one in his back pocket. Kinda looks like Jordan is trying to get Ian caught by the authorities, assuming he's on the lam like she is. But then he could rat her out too. Hmm. 5 2 2 Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/107814-getting-to-genoa-you-all-over-again-yr-daily-chat/page/449/#findComment-8528785

Waldo13 December 10 Share December 10 Summer❄️x7 😺😺😺😺 once again. She just has to butt into what she thinks is best for Harrison. Basically Summer❄️x7 is trying to alienate Claire/Eve from Harrison by most likely telling Harrison that his “mommy” will not abandon him. Where is Tara when you need her. With finding that Sharon’s medication has been tampered with, how long before we find out that Auntie Jordan and Ian were responsible for Heather and Manic Phyllis🕷️; by the end of the month 🤔. Who is more unhinged Auntie Jordan or Ian? As I said before Godzilla vs King Kong. Ian Ian Ian, only Superman can get away with a disguise of a fedora and glasses. As an aside: I’ve seen pictures of a 18 year old McKenna Grace. A cute little girl has turned into a beautiful young woman. Too bad she got too popular and in the best interest for her career, was done playing Faith. 3 1 1 1 Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/107814-getting-to-genoa-you-all-over-again-yr-daily-chat/page/449/#findComment-8528898

NinjaPenguins December 10 Share December 10 PCP? Yikes. Oh, hey. What a great soap opera storyline - all kinds of angst over telling a kid his nanny has a new job. We really needed all those long, repetitive conversations about it. And for the love of all that is good in this world, please stop with Kyle and Claire having the slightest bit of physical intimacy. So awkward. I don’t know why, but Ian kissing Jordan’s hand made me laugh and laugh. What a couple of weirdos. And Ian shouldn’t give Nick any credit for being smart; blind squirrel, nut, etc. 5 1 2 3 3 Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/107814-getting-to-genoa-you-all-over-again-yr-daily-chat/page/449/#findComment-8529143

And once again I hate to be Team Summer but I do think it is the place of the kid’s “parents” instead of the nanny to tell him his childcare is changing. Did anyone think the effin pigeon story was worth 2 minutes of dialogue? I really dislike that character. 4 1 2 Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/107814-getting-to-genoa-you-all-over-again-yr-daily-chat/page/449/#findComment-8529181
ScoobieDoobs December 10 Share December 10 Ah, so we got to see Ian's swell "disguise" . . . and could he be anymore conspicuous? A hunched-over old man, all in black, with a black fedora? A black fedora? Who's worn that since Sinatra did in 1956? Well, Ian --- and that's about it. Not exactly tough to identify him, but OK then, Show, we're supposed to believe these 2 are evil geniuses? Yeah, right. The pigeon story . . . was it 2 minutes or 2 hours? Was so bored by the Vicky, Cole, Claire scene, I was trying to determine if Claire's hair color is dark blonde or light brown. Still not sure, but who cares? Eh, Summer is just an asshole and a PITA who always wants her way. She sucks to be around, just like her mommy. I don't remember Sharon being so googly-eyed as she was today. Did SC always play her this way? Sheesh, it's really annoying. So I'm puzzled -- how did Jordie know about Sharon's prescription being tested? She has super-human powers? She can see & hear things others can't? Oh real great writing. Uh, I'm kinda sensing more heat btw Jordie & Ian than Claire & Kyle. And it still ain't much heat. I beg you, Show, no bed scenes with either of these couples, please. 2 6 1 Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/107814-getting-to-genoa-you-all-over-again-yr-daily-chat/page/449/#findComment-8529190

NinjaPenguins December 10 Share December 10 How did I forget the pigeon story? Did my mind block it out as a sort of protective measure? Woof. I’d rather hear Nick wax poetic about his raging swamp ass than sit through that drivel again. Btw, am I the only one who thought Ian and Jordan messed up and accidentally dosed Phyllis with PCP? It would explain a lot. 1 1 8 Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/107814-getting-to-genoa-you-all-over-again-yr-daily-chat/page/449/#findComment-8529239

I'm having a hard time figuring what his reality really is. I must have missed something about the relationship with Sharon. I remember some nonsense about Mariah about to marry Ian and somehow Sharon stopped that (I think) but I don't get why after all these years he suddenly wants his 'vengeance'. For what? This whole story has so much unincluded background information (such as How are he and Jordie connected?) that all I can see is a couple of deluded senior citizen criminals going batshitcrazy in a seedy motel room. They are making us old people look bad.🤨 15 hours ago, Waldo13 said: With finding that Sharon’s medication has been tampered with, how long before we find out that Auntie Jordan and Ian were responsible for Heather and Manic Phyllis🕷️; by the end of the month 🤔. Too cruel?) 11 hours ago, ScoobieDoobs said: I don't remember Sharon being so googly-eyed as she was today. Did SC always play her this way? Sheesh, it's really annoying.
