Of course this time she was sooooo excited. Would anything else be acceptable? Like the time they took down all of the Christmas decorations while she was sleeping, she woke up, Evan carried her downstairs, and she cried. Lesson learned?

The lovely beige stuffed pumpkin and a green pumpkin candle - what every 5 year old longs for.

I saw the video and it's obnoxious. The exaggerated facial expressions and excitement over beige pumpkins are so fake and coached. Carlin and Evan have done a bang-up job of turning Layla into a smarmy, unlikeable kid.

What 5 year old in the entire world gets excited about a beige knit pumpkin and a candle they're not allowed to touch (I hope)?  I am sure when Carlin told Layla about fall decorations, the kid must've pictured something like their neighbors probably have: real pumpkins, a skeleton on the door, colorful autumn leaves.

When I was a kid, we used to get excited for my mom to get out the autumn decorations, but we were talking about the cardboard skeleton for the door, the plastic Jack'0 Lanterns that lit up, etc.

When my oldest grand was 4, probably not quite 5, I made the mistake of saying something about it being fall in mid September and was quickly informed by said grandchild "actually it is still summer. It will not be fall until the autumnal equinox"

She was a reader even then and thanks to NatGeo Kids, i stood rightfully  corrected by a 4yr old. She still occasionally says "actually.... " to something I have said and can back up her side. 🙂

This is what makes me sad for Layla and all children deprived of education. They live such sheltered lives. Even if they were allowed a different opinion they couldn't explain why.

Y'all are lucky.  My mother was depressed and put up not a one decoration for any holiday or season.  I tried with my children but it was a chore even though I wasn't depressed.  Lucky for me the daughter in law goes all out for the season changes and I enjoy her decorations.  PS her walls are beige but there is still color everywhere.

She looks like her house burned down and she got whatever she could find at the Goodwill Store.

That's so funny because my first thought was someone blindfolded her and told her to pick ten random items at the thrift store. My tinfoil hat theory is BSB has to be a front for a fentanyl operation. Nobody can convince me these hideous clothes are supporting two families in luxury along with several employees.

The brown dress in the first photo might be tolerable if it came in a different color than brown, but those ugly ugly boots have to go.

The yellow sweater and sloppy handbag just look completely unkempt and yes like for whatever reason this is all I have to wear whether it fits or not.

Yes, those boots do NOT go with that dress at all . OMG.

They were in an accident a while ago. They just couldn’t post about it at the time because it was “so difficult “. No one involved was injured. The four of them were in the Tesla and another vehicle was involved. The Tesla is considered totaled. It’s so hard because they’ve never had to deal with anything like that before. No other details were provided.

Now of course adding to their family is a quandary because they need something that will fit 3 children.

Another part of the video included them losing power. Katie and what’s his name and their daughter were there. They were lighting candles and wanted Katie’s family to stay over. Katie said at 36 weeks she didn’t want to. Evan the electrician said they could play on the PS5. Carlin pointed out they didn’t have power. 🤦‍♀️

Katie’s family ended up going home. 🤣🤣

While Evan was over acting during the lighting candles part, Carlin told Evan he was acting like Lawson. That was the funniest thing they’ve ever had in a video!

Ah, so Carlin's pregnant and they're fishing for a free/discounted SUV? Is that about right?

My guess is they'll get whatever Katie is currently driving. When Katie got her new car, she tagged the dealership multiple times, so you know she got a nice percentage off. I'm guessing someone will offer a similar deal to Carlin. And the grift goes on....

This video also included that Zade has a new pediatrician who would like to do a complete medical overview of him including the asthma issue and his speech. I am still amazed that at this stage these two parents have not addressed his speech on their own and sought speech therapy for him. With all of the money they waste, this would be an expense that would take priority. Evan and Carlin were quite immature when their power went out ..."this NEVER happened before" Carlin states. What a baby! They may have a bit of clue now that adult life is not one big party and sometimes you have to deal with real issues, like power failures and vehicle accidents. These two absolutely do NOT need another child in the mix. Why did Evan tell Carlin that she needed him to know if they were going to expand their family? She answered him that she can't take that kind of pressure. What the heck is going on with these two idiots? They also stated that it was "late" when the power went out....so why were Katie, Travie and Hailey still there and that little girl was still up and not at home? Moving back to TN was the worst thing for those two. Also Even, I think, outed that Erin and Chad are indeed moving back to TN also. I didn't think Erin could last very long away from her parents and family. I am sorry that the Stewarts were in an accident but glad that they are all ok. I wonder what the circumstances of that accident were? Who was at fault? Were Evan or Carlin videoing while driving perhaps? I also could not believe that they never cleaned up the bloodstain on th garage floor from Carlin's foot injury! Yuck.

I didn't watch the latest video, but I did read the comments and a lot of them were not kind to Carlin and Evan.  And someone commented that they were deleting comments too.

It sounds like "adulting" is coming at them fast right now and they are having a hard time coping.

But they will get to rest soon, it appears there is another vacation coming up this week or next with Carlin's family.  I don't know the details, maybe they were in the video, but some of the comments said for them to have a good time on the upcoming vacation with the Bates.

I wonder if this is where the worm starts to turn. People are really struggling right now. Gas prices, inflation, grocery prices, economic uncertainty, environmental disasters, an upcoming shit show of an election. I don't think Carlin's fan base is wealthy. It must grate that they're struggling to put food on the table while E&C casually mentioned they totaled their 120k car, but it's no biggie because they've got two others they can use.

Or watching Evan squeal like a two year-old over a power outage when their husbands don't have the luxury of lounging by a pool all day.

Alyssa got a shit ton of negative comments on her latest vlog as well, so maybe people are finally waking up.

What are their other cars? A Jeep and what else? And why do two adults who don't work need three cars? (Don't answer that one -- it's a rhetorical question.)

The other vehicle was bought from a Duggar,  I believe. I think it’s an SUV. They tried to sell it and couldn’t. It was God’s way it didn’t sell, because now they have a second vehicle, don’t ya know!

And what happens to the money they no doubt still owe on the Tesla??

Knowing how these two are they probably think the insurance payout will be all theirs. Unless of course they paid cash?

I have maintained all along that Carlin does not want another child. She seems perfectly content with the two that she has and more power to her if this is the case and she sticks to it. It's Evan who is pressing her for another.  This would give him added insurance against having to go to a real job for several more years because you know Carlin can't be left alone while pregnant and then caring for a newborn.  On another note I hope that Katie and Travis are not leaving Hailey with Carlin and Evan with that unfenced pool right outside of the rear door and patio.

I think Travis might have an ounce of sense in that matter, although Katie's lost whatever brains and sense she developed in New Jersey.

You know, with grown adults with two kids, I wouldn't even think to ask this, but I have two questions:

Do they know that they still owe whatever the balance is on their car loan even though the car is gone?

Do they realize that the insurance is not going to hand them 120K to get a new Tesla?  Do they realize that even extra special Teslas lose a significant amount of value as soon as they are driven off the lot?  They may be lucky and get enough to cover the loan balance, but certainly not much more.

As for them getting negative feedback on their latest video, it is richly deserved.  Parts of Tennessee and the NC mountains are completely destroyed.  People lost homes, cars, and in some cases watched loved ones get swept away by raging flood waters.  Watching these two clowns freak out over a power outage would make me want to throw something.

Unless these two thought to purchase gap insurance for their vehicle, aren't they on the hook for the difference in value? Sure.....get another Tesla. I don't know where these two get all this money they seem to be spending. Another question if I may..... I would love to know if Carlin and Whitney are actually running this BSB dress business...or if it is actually the paid employees that they have doing the work? With all of their "activities" it doesn't seem that Carlin and Evan are ever really present at the shop to run things with Whitney and Zach. What do they do in al of this? Both families live to high for what they seem to net after paying employees and expenses. Do their husbands have actual jobs there? Why do they need at least 4 of them to run things? Anyone know the truth here? I thank you in advance. I laughed when Evan actually called himself an electrician.

Yes, as soon as they drove it off the lot, the Tesla depreciated and would continue to lose value over time.  Generally, from the moment a new car leaves the lot, it is worth less than the amount if would require to pay off the loan unless the buyers paid in cash or put down greater than a 20% down payment.

It is possible to buy auto insurance that pays replacement value rather than blue book value; but most people don't bother and end up having to make payments on a car they no longer own.

Carlin and Evan were probably blissfully unaware of any of this before the car was totaled because, as previously noted, they are idiots.

There was an AMA on Reddit a while back from a girl who did modeling for BSB. She said neither Whit nor Carlin are hands-on and the manager does all the work. She said she actually felt bad for the girl because it seemed like she was juggling way too many balls and needed more help.

I think Z/W and E/C pop in here and there to check on things but they're not putting in a 40-50 hour work week.

I used to work at a bank in car loans... and a total loss usually will leave the owners on the hook for the remaining balance of the car after the insurance company pays what they deem is the value of the vehicle.

Gap Insurance and a warranty can offset some of the remaining balance, but it can take one to two months for both of those to close and the funds are issued out to the bank that handled the auto loan.  So the car owner would still need to keep up payments until the loan is paid off or else it would ding their credit.

Most times even with Ga[ insurance and a warranty, there still might be a balance left if the car's value was lower then the balance of the car loan.

I doubt Carlin/Evan know of all this.

And how do we know the accident wasn’t their fault?

The fact that it took weeks for them to even mention it makes me think it was indeed their fault. Evan was probably using his phone to videotape something to post and didn’t see the other vehicle.

Considering we got umpteen posts with headlines like ‘Carlin rushed to the hospital!’  and ‘Doctors baffled, what could be wrong?’ Complete with video of Carlin twitching, multiple ER visits, etc beck when Carlin was having her episodes, it’s a pretty safe bet that there are some things about the accident that they want to keep quiet.

Oh, there was clickbait.  The title of the video was, "WE WRECKED OUR TESLA!" with the subtitle as, "The Tesla is TOTALED"

Maybe the "WE" in the title in a hint at whose fault the wreck was.

Since BSB isn't open to the public, the workers just package up the online orders and get them ready to mail.  And then I guess they unbox and put new merch on the wire shelfing (no steaming or anything).  Other than getting ready for a Cash and Carry it's probably a very easy job.  Whit and Carlin probably plan the photo shoots and the advertising.  Evan does the filming or picture taking and editing and Zach pays the bills.                                                                                                  It is still hard to believe that the profits from the shop can pay for Z/W & C/E lifestyle + the 3-4 full time employees.

Plus rent on the building and cover all the inventory they carry.  It's only a question of how long until this bubble bursts though.  Their clientele is going to age out of disposable clothing fairly rapidly.

So Evan continues to be the most useless husband ever. Carlin posted an IG about how they've had a houseful - not only Joy but it looks like Jessa/Ben and their kids stayed with C&E for/after Jase's wedding. Jana and her husband may have stayed also or at least stopped by. So then she posts a pic about how she finally got a lighting fixture for her living room and Jana is standing up on a ladder hanging it with her husband standing there holding the fixture/parts to help her. Uh hello Evan - you did go to electrician school for all 5 yrs and then had a graduation party with mommy and daddy remember?

But no worries I'm sure Evan was at the hospital to party party during Katie's birth. Carlin posted pics of her, Whit, and Kelly hanging out in the room with Katie pre-birth - Whit sitting there with her shoes ON Katie's bed. Carlin has feet on the bed too but at least managed to slip off the shoes she sauntered thru the entire hospital in.
