Wasn't it last October when they first brought up having the 4 day hospital EEG done? They are coming up on a year and still no EEG. Everytime they have a Doctor's appointment it's always a different reason why this hasn't been scheduled. No sane person who was really worried about seizures and passing out would have put up with this not being scheduled. They would have been on the Dr's case wanting answers.

And no headship who was truly worried about his wife passing out while carrying his infant son would have put up with it.

As someone who went through a lot of tests and switching to different specialists because the last one said it wasn't his/her/their area, I get that it is annoying.

It absolutely IS annoying, but she doesn’t really work, nor does her husband, so they have lots and lots of free time to schedule and attend doctors’ appointments. 🤷‍♀️

They seemed to really enjoy rushing to the ER via ambulance all the time and filming events there

I bet they didn’t enjoy receiving all the medical bills for those visits.

I thought Carlin's first episode was while she was laboring with Zade.  I remember Evan filming and saying that Carling had been passing out.  He then showed her, totally unresponsive as he and the nurse called her name.  He kept filming.  I remember watching this and yelling at my computer screen for him to turn off the camera and be present with his wife.  It was scary.  At that time, they thought it was something brought on by labor.  I was very worried about her.  Little dd I know the joke was on me.

We give people the benefit of the doubt until they demonstrate that they are lying. Carlin is lying. The EEG will never happen because there is no reason to have one.

Mental illness in the form of factitious disorder may be the reason for the lying, but it's still lying.

C&E are influencers. Influencers lie. Carlin is a drama queen. Drama queens are gonna drama. And these are two 20 somethings who rushed into adulting long before they were ready.

Added to all that is the fact that C&E aren't all that smart, so we get immature, lying, drama queen, influencers filming it all for everyone to see.

Like, what could go wrong with that? 🤔😬🤣

The Stewarts are at Dollywood - his family is there too. First Carlin writes on one part of the reel, "the sparkle in her eyes are worth it". The were on a ride, Layla's eyes looked scared and her face looked nauseous. Nary a sparkle. Next up, Evan is on a ride with Layla. He's sitting behind her holding his phone in front of her filming her, while on the sideline Carlin is holding Zade, filming him while he's watching the ride. THESE POOR KIDS!

Oh and Carlin was feeding Zane from an entire loaf of freshly fair baked cinnamon bread.

I saw that and thought the same thing! I thought Layla looked scared on the ride and exhausted on the ground. I didn't see any sparkle at all.

With Carlin's complaints of headaches, dizziness, etc., I am not sure rides like that are the best solution. I get that you don't want to stop your life because of what might happen, but I for one get triggered on certain rides. Not smart.

From my many times at Dollywood, I will say the cinnamon bread is the best thing there. It's meant for a small family to pull at and eat sort of like monkey bread but less messy (somewhat - lots of butter and cinnamon). Most people put the icing on it or dip it in the preserves, but I think it is good without it. It typically comes in sections of four. My girls are older now so we each have a section and fight over the fourth section. When they were little I would give them each a bite so that they weren't wanting mine.

Warden had an instagram story a few days ago that showed him golfing with Evan. So probably whatever day he got the new clubs.

I thought the only golfing Evan did was at Top Golf.  BTW it amuses me that these fundies are so obsessed with Top Golf.  The first I ever heard of it was a story talking about how many people go there, get drunk and hit golf balls all over the place of just fall over while attempting to golf.

Golf clubs aren't cheap.  My brother who had a real job in an accounting firm had a used set for years before he spent money on a brand new set.  Evan of course has no job and will probably lose interest in the clubs after a few weeks just like the outdoor griddle he just had to have.  I think the only reason he hasn't lost interest in the Tesla is because it is a status symbol.

Regarding their trip to Dollywood, not sure what the weather is like there, but here it has been brutally hot.  Poor Layla must have been miserable.

Was reading over on YT about the $$ each couple is getting from SM.

Travis and Katie get five times what Evan and Carlin are getting if true!

They are about forth in money of the siblings!!!

That must frost their pumpkin!

T&K. $10,000 per month. E&C about $2,000

Rumors of course!

Honestly about $2000 per month for C&E on YT sounds about right given the well known YT $ metrics out there. At their level of followers, they'd make about $5 per 100k views. These days they eke out about 100k views for their YT videos; 4 videos per month at $500 per video = roughly $2000 per month. Great extra money, but not exactly what someone gives up a salaried electrician job with paid healthcare and retirement benefits for. Though I guess they'd say so what if it's only $2000 on YT, there's more from IG and BSB.

IDK if Katie makes more - though they do have way more engagement and better ads - but damn that must REALLY piss C&E off. I mean K&T are already rich to begin with as I'm pretty sure Trav is getting a weekly/monthly check from his family's school and now they are making 5x the money on social media too - damn. Well now we understand the desperation to keep up with Katie and Trav.

So Evan "plays" golf mostly at Top Golf and a few times we've seen him at really crappy public courses or frankly places that look like a high school field being used as a driving range when school isn't in session and he needs brand new custom clubs for this "hobby"? How often is he really even playing and as with everything, I'm guessing this hobby will be done by next year - if not sooner. [I mean it's fun so I'm giving it a year - the griddle was work and responsibility so that was done in about 2 wks.]

So I take it money is getting tight? Bc shilling for a gambling app, really? I mean I know Evan is not fundie but I think all conservative Christians think gambling is from the devil, it's an addiction etc. Just last week Evan goes on about how he personally doesn't drink - but gambling is ok?? You can't exactly explain away gambling like Kelly did for dancing when Carlin wanted a first dance at the wedding and Kelly was all like - oh ballroom dancing isn't the one from the devil, it's soooo classy . . . . And Gil went along with it though he prob didn't like it.

Gil must really be having a - come to Jesus, who did I marry my daughters off to - type of moment now. I mean Kelly is fine with anything as long as there is $$$ for vacations, Sbux, and made up BSB photo shoots and she can tag along. But Gil seems to be the one in the family still clinging to their teachings. And they can't even spin it as - that slots app is just for fun - bc that app allows you to gamble real $ and even part of their shill was you could win a $2000 cruise.

EDITED - Carlin is taking IG questions and just said she has a date for her 5 day EEG. Didn't say when.

Shilling the gambling app is particularly crummy given how destructive a vice it is. Wasn't that the big controversy with sites like Draft Kings and Fan Duel, that they were luring teens in by framing gambling as a fun, harmless hobby? Now Evan and Carlin are claiming they play online slots every night before bed? They are truly awful, shameless people.

I believe the YouTube numbers are fairly accurate. Travis and Katie are on a high thanks to giving birth to an exceptionally photogenic baby. The numbers will probably dip once Hailey gets older, but I'm sure by then #2 will be on the way, so it won't matter.

It also mentioned Tears seems to have more interesting content!  🤷

I find them all pretty boring and YT is now saturated with Bates!

What do you expect from an adult woman who poses with her tongue out like she's Gene Simmons?

I would bet that she hit a tanning booth or professional spray tan at least before the last cash-and-carry, or whenever that photo with her hand on Whitney's abdomen was taken. Carlin's tan was suspiciously, uniformly dark and even, and that doesn't happen from just "playing outside." It's either a pro spray tan or a tanning booth.

100%. I don't know if you follow the subReddit, but someone over there researched and estimated E&C's monthly payment for the Tesla is well over $2,000. Obviously that's variable depending on if they financed, leased, put a hefty amount down, etc., but even so, that car is costing them a bundle. They do have several streams of income, but those are entirely dependent on their popularity. If BSB somehow manages to last another decade, E&C's lifestyle will still take a hit if their YouTube and Instagram bottom out.

I could be wrong about this but my theory is that those who follow them and purchase clothes from BSB are for the most part in their 20's. They are impressed by how Carlin looks and dresses and they are interested in seeing the little kids. Once Carlin reaches her 30's her customer base will be in their 30's and interest in Carlin and BSB will fall off. Layla will be 8 and Zade will be 6. So unless she has another child or two her followers will start to lose interest in the children who will no longer be toddlers.  They are not real celebrities who can continue to attract a large viewing audience to their TY channel.

Except Carlin rarely wears clothes from her own “boutique.” She is a pretty “basic bitch” overall.

I think she wears the dresses to church sometimes. She seems to like to have a different dress every week and I guess the boutique dresses are good for that. I wouldn’t be surprised if she wears them then puts them back in stock.

Just thinking out loud here of course.

I'd like to see the Stews' monthly expenses -- the necessary expenses, not the Starbucks runs, nail salons, professional hair color, custom golf clubs, and so on. I mean just the mortgage, insurance, car payment, electric, water, natural gas, trash, cell phones, cable (you know they gotta have it), and food. Ten thousand a month? I wouldn't be surprised.

I saw that. They aren't wrong. I am considering a move across the country. If I do that, I'm buying a new car instead of chugging along in my current car that is up there in mileage. Since I am moving (potentially) to a very green/ecofriendly place, I am looking at electric cars and such. I am doing well in terms of money so I don't worry too much about payments, but a Tesla is not a splurge I will make.

I think Carlin/Evan and Whitney/Zach are in for a rude awakening if and when we have an economic downturn. There has not been a recession or worse with influencers being a thing. Frankly, I don't see most influencers lasting out a time when people are counting pennies. The boutique will suffer too. Clothing stores (other than children) decline during such times because people make due with last year's styles for one more year. I am sure it is fun to work with your husband (personally I'd go crazy) all day/every day. But that also means that their income isn't diversified at all. If the company fails to make a profit for whatever reason or the rent goes up on their warehouse/store, those two families are going to be scrambling. Zach and Whitney might be saving a little (they made a big car purchase too and have more mouths to feed), but nobody is convincing me that Carlin and Evan have saved a dime.

Mr. I don't like to get dirty, Evan, is going to be hating life as an electrician if he is able to find a job in a bad economy. Zach is going to have to go back into law enforcement full time and/or hustle to cut some trees. Both of them are going to find it harder than when they were doing it before. And Carlin's going to have to get really creative to sell some $100 eyelash serum.

Per Google the average monthly expenses for a family of 4 in TN is around $4500 - NOT including mortgage/rent.

Add in a mortgage payment, a higher car payment and their wasteful incidental spending, you are likely spot on.

I wouldn't either, especially if they pay for their own health insurance. I remember when Kail from Teen Mom was battling it out with one of her baby daddies over child support, and she listed in court papers that she paid $1800/mo for her family's health insurance. Given Carlin's, ahem, issues, I would imagine they must have some form of coverage.

Eta: Are they down to one car now or does Carlin still have her SUV?

I think you may be on to something here. I wouldn't count on more babies saving their popularity, though. I've noticed that fan (or snarker) interest in the next generation seems high for the first 2-3 kids, then drops a whole lot. I would imagine they'd reclaim that if they get over ten, but no-one's there yet (and I don't see Carlin going for double digits, either).

I don't follow these two morons on sm however, have they ever mentioned that they even HAVE health insurance? I know they continue to seek medical attention and that the physicians haven't cut them off but perhaps they are on some sort of payment plan and making very low payments. Or, even worse, Carlin is following her father's strategy of paying for medical care.

My mother was in the more industrial end of fashion and retail sales. Typically your stores will purchase clothing 8-9 months before you plan to sell it. Photo shoots for promos are about six months out. At this point they are buying what other shops have rejected or things that are overstocked.

I've often suspected that they (Carlin and Whitney) have no idea of the actual logistics. They probably order too much, too close to the season. For all the talk of long lines at the boutique warehouse or cash and carry sales, I notice we are rarely shown footage of people buying things there. They are turning it into a partial Bates family meet and greet. Evan's latest "b-roll" showed him signing autographs.

The fall and winter stuff is just what they sell all year long. Just flimsy cotton/poly dresses in darker colors. Nothing that says fall and winter fabric to me.

Wow Whitney didn't have much of a maternity break after giving birth to #5. I guess Carlin and Even couldn't handle the pressure of holding down the fort for a couple of months.

So true. It seems like the mountain of dresses never really diminishes. The racks are still jam-packed when Carlin posts how exhausted she is after the sales. I also agree about the lines. On the surface, the crowd appears large, but it's a lot of women who dragged husbands and kids along. So while the space appears filled, the actual number of people buying is much smaller.

I was a bit surprised to see Whit back as well. I know it's just a meeting, but you'd think Zach and the warehouse manager could handle things. I don't think Evan and Carlin are good for much more than supplying the Iced Pumpkin Spice Lattes.

That is unusual to be talking fall/winter so close to the actual season.  Traditionally September/October is when retailers start planning/buying for resort wear season..and spring/summer clothing.

Maybe the boutique is more like a Marshalls/TJ Maxx where it's over head that retailers didn't buy or off loading.

If Whitney/Carlin was smart..they could negotiate to buy these items at lower cost and then do a healthy mark up...but what am I saying..of course they aren't that smart lol

Tbh, Whitney and Zach are probably the people keeping this afloat..she was the one handling everything during 2020 Covid lockdowns..and I'm sure Carlin got used to that.
