I don't even want to think about what their house smells like with baby formula being dumped on the couch. Yuck. Also, I thought there were formula shortages and that it was expensive. Why let you kid dump it all over the place?

The picture is not bad, but they would both look so much better if they would stop squinting. It's not cute.

It is very easy to rack up credit card debt. My card keeps raising my credit limit (needless to say I don't charge that much) and I suspect theirs does too. They probably also have multiple cards including store cards like Target, etc. I've had a couple of friends who had to dig out of large amounts of debt because they lost track of how much was being charged.

Wow, Michael could make a great living as a seamstress. It's a shame she doesn't do that instead of focusing on her fertility. She would find much more satisfaction with a focus like this. Were they at Zach and Whit's house? I know they are into barn doors and their house is pretty big. Or maybe they rented a church fellowship hall.

Sorry to disappoint Kelly, but I was not wondering where Lawson was. And really don't want to see his performative videos exploiting a terrible tragedy for his own gain.

I wonder if the boys who preached at the chapel service get a critique afterword. Phillip's sermon sounds like it was completely inferior to the other four. I wonder if he sees that or if he thinks they are off base? Both my maternal grandparents were narcissists and they always thought the rest of the world was wrong and they were right. Who knows if Phillip has picked up BME's traits.

If I had the consultant that Montana bride did, I would have asked for a new one. Referring to the dresses as she was bad enough, but that vocal tic she had where her voice would go up to a squeak occasionally made me want to run away. As for the bride who wanted pants, I felt bad that the only samples they had were so small. She wasn't that big, but she couldn't try anything on that she actually wanted. She needs to find a decent seamstress or hunt around Nordstrom and she will find something that works and probably won't have the huge markup. I don't understand the relationship, but I hope they are all happy. The woman who wanted pants really seemed to care about her hinge bride, so that was nice.

I genuinely hope Katy stays home if ILY Day is this weekend. If she is doing frequent feedings as she says, not only is traveling disruptive to that, but she must be exhausted. I can't even imagine how scary being a first time mom with a jaundiced baby is. I'm glad she is getting support and I hope whatever she does, she and the baby will be OK.

I suspect that the producers came up with the themes or at least helped them. I am sure that the costumes were rented and paid for by the show. Last year when there was no more show, only a few of them did costumes and most of those were pretty basic. As usual, Michael had to sew something for Kelly and Gil because they are too lazy to do it themselves. I'm surprised the theme didn't go by the wayside this year because the producers weren't around to make suggestions. I also wonder who will actually show up. Lawson should be done being "on the ground" in Turkey by then.

I suspect that the odd reference to Vinney-Terry was a failed attempt to tag their page. When tagging doesn't quite work, the results can look awkward. I initially misread @oliviabenson's post as who prayed for the meal for 8 people. But when it was followed up with certainly not David I knew it referenced paying. Also, the guy in the white shirt in that photo looks creepy. He looks like he's eying up a teenage girl at the next table.

If she split it, it was to get two payouts from YoutTube instead of one for one video. She clearly wanted to monetize this situation for all it was worth and is now crying because she got called out.

I don't know about other kids, but I remember loving getting to go to the library after school. Maybe I was just a weird kid. In this case it sounds like there was some sort of activity, so they may be good with it even if they were in public school. Who know with Jill, though.

Jessa did post a cribbed quote from someone comparing abortion to the Holocaust without attribution. And the cherry on top was a picture of people being loaded on a train headed to a concentration camp. I owe this twit and her useless preacher boy husband nothing. Ben really should have kept his nose out of this because he has made it a hundred times worse. And on one cares about Jessa's sad decorating choices.

That reminds me of when I was in high school in the dark ages and down vests were the thing. All the guys tried to look macho by wearing the down vest and s short sleeved tshirt even when it was freezing out. Jinger's outfit may be fashionable, but fashionable is sometimes really ugly. I lived through the 70s so I speak with authority.

True, but I can't imagine anyone other than Meri is doing that now (and I have my doubts about Meri at this point). Favorite wife Robyn would not put up with Kody giving Leon money at this point.

I hope she gets proper support from those around here if she has to supplement with formula. A friend of mine had to do that and she also felt like a failure. Several of us (including her husband) told her that what others thought was irrelevant. She needed to do what she had to to ensure the survival of her baby. That baby is now a perfectly healthy and well-adjusted adult, so formula didn't cause any undue problems. It's great if you can breastfeed, but sometimes there are not enough nutrients in the breast milk, so formula is needed. It's not a crime or a failure, it's just nature.

Just like when she posted about having PPD and then two weeks later started plugging some supplement that supposedly cured it. I just can't get past that one because it was so tacky and irresponsible.

Did Lawson actually take out his expensive airpods while on the ground in Turkey? I know in the past he hasn't. Nothing like someone supposedly helping who can't even take his airpods out of his ears. Besides, Turkey is a big country. He could be hanging out anywhere and not be anywhere near where real help is needed.

Interesting that Gwen says that Kody carries on like that a lot. I'm sorry, but if he was screaming like that at my fiancee, we would be done. I feel very strongly about not allowing family to mistreat your spouse. My parents struggled with that because it came from both sides of the family who opposed their marriage. I would not be surprised if Kody's outbursts have become more frequent in recent years because as others have said, he isn't the patriarch anymore. Most of his kids are grown and while they may still have him in their lives, they aren't obeying his orders to the letter. That doesn't excuse his behavior, but it does explain it.

I have absolutely no issue with Leon cutting off certain family members. It is no surprise to me that some of them would refuse to respect their pronouns or use the correct name. However, I got the impression from Leon's post when they came out as Leon that they would cut you dead if you made even the slightest mistake in addressing them. I've known a couple of trans people and they understand that people who have known them for a long time are going to have to adjust and may slip up once in a while. I don't get the sense that Leon will give grace in those circumstances. Someone upthread mentioned Leon coming out as a lesbian and Meri's initial reaction. I have always felt that Leon was deep in their anger at Meri for the whole catfishing mess (couldn't totally blame them since the public voicemails humiliated Leon as well) that Meri could have thrown a ticker tape parade and Leon would still have been pissed. I agree with those who say she is a product of the worst traits of both her parents. There are some champion grudge holders in this family.
