For someone who claims to not want to be famous or in the spotlight, she sure seemed to be into that photo shoot. And I know I'm being mean, but it was so nice of God to make sure she had perfect weather for her photo shoot. I'm sure all the people who have lost homes and loved ones in these storms are glad that Jinger had a nice day. As for the Cartier bracelet, it is possible it was a loaner for the book cover photo. I know she said the outfit was hers, but I am sure that they provided accessories that would complete the picture. It looks like someone is putting a lot of money and effort in this promotion compared to the first two books. Maybe McArthur agreed to pitch in some cash to make this one look more professional since the book is advertising for his church.

I hate to say it, but it sounds like these two are rewriting some history here. When she dropped the news on Christine in Hawaii, I got a strong sense that part of Christine's negative reaction was due to the fact that she knew Kody would be angry and blame her. She was still hoping to get back in his good graces at that time because he and Meri were on the outs and she knew that Mykelti's news would jeopardize that. As someone else pointed out, if TLC was paying for the wedding, why all the cost-cutting measures from Mykelti? The one thing I do believe is that Tony did intend the borrowing money thing as a joke. He strikes me as the type who would make a joke without thinking of how it would go over.

Not bothering to watch because it is just a rehash of last season. I am so sad for Jazz and I hope she can salvage a life out of this mess. Sandor and Jeanette are using her for their own fame at this point and need to back off. And Jeanette can take a seat with her complaining that she has to do stuff for Jazz. Jazz has been begging her to back off and let her handle things while Jeanette is insisting on shaving her legs for her and commenting on what she is packing. Let Jazz figure it out. She'll make mistakes like we all did, but she'll learn if Jeanette doesn't turn every mistake into a big deal.

I always thought if anything was meant by it that Madyson was Anna's doing. Let's face it, the felon was on the verge of his trial when she was born so I'll bet Anna was somewhat pissed that this happened. Also, Anna has drunk the conspiracy koolaid copiously. She was one of the first to get on Parler when it was a thing. I could see her picking the name because she thought she was owning the libs or something. As for Josiah and Lauren, they were nowhere near the trial, so probably don't have a clue about the significance of the name Daisy. I hope they never find out either, because the name is nice and Josiah shouldn't have to be dragged into his brother's crimes.

I wonder if any other the other kids had anxiety to the level Jinger had. I have read several survivor blogs indicating that a lot of people growing up in the various parachurch movements like IBLP and Vision Forum had a lot of the same fears. Unfortunately, Jinger is holding Gothard accountable, but not her parents who were there daily to instill that fear in her. I'm betting she still suffers from anxiety, but it looks different now, so she doesn't realize it.

Boy these two are not bright. There is nothing about that property that suggests that it would be a good place for an RV park. The property being in a flood zone is just the icing on the cake. I guarantee you that anyone who had cash would be able to park whatever on that land and Austin wouldn't care as long as he got paid.

This is what I am wondering as well. As I said before, I won't give the guy doing the interviewing a click because he is very problematic, but I could easily see Paedon feeling comfortable with another guy and saying all sorts of stuff without thinking it through. Once again, I do believe Meri took her resentment out on some of the kids which is yet another wrong choice from her. But, I think Paedon was basking in the spotlight and things got out of hand. The fact that he canceled an appearance on another podcast lends weight to that assumption. ETA: What in the world is JO's problem? This obsession is getting downright creepy. While I think Meri played up the victim narrative with the catfish, this person does seem to have an unhealthy obsession with the family.

I do think Paedon is speaking his truth and understanding is a three edged sword - your side, my side, and the truth. The more I learn about Meri, the more I see that this was absolutely the wrong lifestyle for her. She certainly wasn't cut out for plural marriage because of massive insecurity and low self esteem. But in addition, I just don't think Meri is a kid and chaos person. Having a bunch of nearly feral kids (because no one else seemed to handle discipline) must have been very difficult. It doesn't excuse what she did, but I think it is yet another cautionary tale about marrying before you know who you are and what you want out of life. In that, I do feel sorry for her. Trust me as someone who never wanted kids (I don't have them) and has a low speaking voice and isn't pretty and perfect and feminine I know that it is very easy for people to make assumptions about you that are unfair. Not saying she did nothing and is perfectly innocent, but also not believing that she was on the verge of killing one of the kids. And let's not forget, Robyn was perfectly happy to have Meri be the enforcer when Robyn's kids were being bullied. No one's motives here are pure and that includes Christine and Janelle.

This is what I thought as well. I wondered if a member of her surgical team was out of network so insurance wouldn't pay that part. I had outpatient surgery and the before insurance cost just for the few hours in the hospital was over $25,000. I also can't believe that her doctor's office didn't do the due diligence to determine what the insurance would pay. I knew exactly what I would owe the doctor and the copay to the hospital (which they collected at the preop appointment). There were a few minimal lab costs beyond that but those were like maybe $20 here or $40 there.

At this point, this is a complete mess and there is no way out that isn't going to hurt someone. I think Paedon did experience some hurtful behavior from Meri over the years and I think he is playing this out as his revenge. He also gets a lot of attention which he absolutely craves. Being somewhat impulsive, he hasn't thought through how this will impact the entire family. You can't drop hints like that then say you won't give details because it would get the show canceled. TLC will take notice and start asking questions. They have been burned by the Duggars (twice) and the Willises, I don't think they want to take more chances if there really is something serious that went on. I don't fault Meri for her silence at this point. I would be consulting an attorney before I said one word if I were in her shoes. I think she can be mean and do hurtful things, but I don't believe kids lives were in danger from her. But if she responds too quickly and impulsively, she will make things worse for herself. As I said above, there is not a good way out of this for anyone. And to those saying Paedon is just like Kody, I totally agree. He speaks just like him and rambles and makes weird faces just like Kody does. Paedon may find that some of his siblings don't want to deal with him anymore and they certainly won't trust him with any confidences. He's impulsive and will blab all over social media at the slightest provocation.

Not only has she revealed it, but both Janelle and Christine said straight out that Kody complained to them about other wives all the time. So Robyn can quit lying anytime now.

As has been stated before, this is just a new set of propaganda that Jinger has put her name to. Now instead of parroting Gothard through David Waller, she is parroting McArthur through her ghostwriter who is a staff member of McArthur's organization. I don't think Jinger has a thought in her head that wasn't put there by someone else.

And once again, she is not being judged for her supposed maiden name which isn't really, she's being judged for her own stupid actions like scamming someone out of merchandise with a false promise of advertising and allowing her out of control kid to throw knives.

One of the fundy Bates sisters did this and she got roasted. She first made a big post on social media talking about how she was dealing with PPD. Then two weeks later she claimed to be cured by some herbal junk. Mykelti who probably barely passed high school science should stick to shilling ugly clothes.

Several things: Kody's pencil remark was vile. Yes, Gabe and Garrison had girlfriends who were isolating as well to reduce the risk that anyone would get sick. They were working and going to school, not out partying with huge crowds every night of the week. And by the time he shared his wacko rules, no one was wiping down groceries or changing clothes after going out. I loved Janelle calling BS frequently. Her eyeroll and remark about counselor Robyn was great. And she was spot on when she said that Kody always looks for someone else to blame and never takes any accountability for his own actions that cause most of the strife in the family. I really respected Janelle and Christine for what they said regarding Kody finding his soul mate and how it affected them. They were very clear and rational while Robyn and Kody came across paranoid and raving. They were hurt by Kody's attentions to Robyn and they were honest about that and that sometimes that lead them to say some unkind things about Robyn. It seems clear to me that they don't blame Robyn for the fact that Kody fell in love with her. Robyn came across very badly with her rant about how she was done apologizing for everything. I doubt she has ever apologized for anything and I'm sure she egged Kody on in throwing away his relationships with his other kids. And she had a lot of nerve saying that the other wives didn't take care of their relationships with Kody. If she wants others to leave her out of things then perhaps she should stay out of things. She is always interjecting her opinions and pontificating about plural marriage. Meri just looks pathetic. Give it up and be the strong woman you claim to be. Sometimes strength is knowing when it is time to walk away. While I agree with everyone that the host seems to take Kody and Robyn's side, it was interesting that toward the end, she seemed to just be sitting back and letting the two of them dig a hole for themselves. I think she did move them to show their true colors and just left it without comment.

I guess they don't follow entertainment news so have not heard what happened to Jeremy Renner while operating heavy equipment. In his case, I am sure the weather and the depth of the snow was the problem and not that he was screwing around. Joy could kill herself or her kids being so irresponsible. Heavy equipment is not a toy.

I wonder how many other people she has tried to scam with her give me free stuff and I will totally advertise it to my many followers. Cross my heart. I know people who sell crafts online and they are constantly batting off scammers like this.

I would especially like to hear concrete examples from Janelle because it's clear from the way she talks that she has some. I would also like concrete examples from Robyn of how the evil Christine was always mean to her. I'm not saying Christine was a perfect angel, but Robyn's statements of what went on were just as vague and possibly open to negative interpretation. there are examples on the show of Christine going out of her way to include Robyn in things and she certainly didn't block Robyn from being there when Mykelti had her twins. As to Meri, she really needs to own her stuff. It's on camera that she hinted that she was going to leave the family for Sam when the family was on a trip to Alaska. I think Kody was not happy that she was catfished, but it wasn't until the details were released that he decided there was no possibility of reconciliation. I thought he was still visiting her after all that came out, but spent entire visits just being in a rage, so she finally told him to stay away until he cooled off. I still don't believe he wanted to reconcile with her when they were all in Flagstaff. I think that was made up by him and Robyn because they could see the public reaction to Christine leaving and they wanted to do damage control. It has backfired spectacularly.

Wow, at this point, Kody and Robyn can't keep their lies straight at all. First, Kody claimed that the gift that made him want to reconcile with Meri was the Rice Krispie Treats. But, in this latest episode, he claims that he brought up reconciliation around the time he was floating the one house idea. Now, the one house was definitely well before the pandemic because they were all in one place looking at his stupid presentation (I think that was Christmas 2018, but not sure). But the magical Krispie treats weren't given to him until during the pandemic on that horrible anniversary date with Meri. And as I have said before, he was definitely not interested in reconciling then based on his behavior both on and off camera. I won't even get into the Schroedinger's cat situation with whether Robyn was there when he supposedly discussed reconciliation or not because we have heard both. Another lie Robyn can't keep straight is whether Kody truly does what he wants regardless of what a wife says or wants. She claimed that the COVID rules were all his doing and she couldn't give input because she supposedly would have been more reasonable. However, she flat out said in this episode that the whole reconciliation with Meri was derailed when Christine got upset. So, which is it, Robyn? I loved that Janelle brought up that Robyn was anything but perfect when she came into the family. I wish she would have given concrete examples, because I'll bet Robyn can be really awful when she wants to. Finally, when Kody rambled about how Christine had to make him look bad because no man would want her if he realized she had left a good man, I think my eyes rolled behind the couch. Sorry buddy, a good man doesn't tell his 17 year old daughter that if she wants surgery she can go across the country by herself to get it.

Sadly, it is entirely possible that Kody is that divorced from reality at this point. We are seeing more and more public figures behaving erratically, so why is it so surprising that someone with his ego would get worse over time? We also know from things he has said that he has gone down the men's rights rabbit hole which keeps him in victim mode constantly. I'm glad Truley is far away from him and I do worry for Robyn's younger children. He seems to have quite the temper.

This gathering did seem subdued to me. I've been to larger Christmas day gatherings with kids and the kids are always excited and bouncing off the walls. Also, everyone chips in on the food prep whether helping out in the host kitchen or bringing their own specialties or both. I loved those times and it was only as quiet as these people were when everyone was eating.

I have to say Truett's yawn was cute. He's at the stage where everything goes in his mouth, so I hope they are careful. In that chaotic mess at the TTH, I am sure there were choking hazards all over the place. One thing that is interesting is that a few years ago there were a lot of non Duggars at their Christmas day activities. I suspect that now that the show is done, a lot of those sweet friends have fallen away.

Not sure what that nasty concoction with the fake cheese is, but if even Duggar and Duggar adjacents won't touch it, it has to be gross. That is an odd spread overall. I would have had more fruit and less savory stuff for balance. I get thirsty just looking at all that salty stuff in one place.

I don't think I would take a chance on ice skating on any pond in the south even though it has been colder than normal. The ice just doesn't get thick enough. There were definitely fewer people there than in recent years. It strikes me as usual how unpleasant the howlers are to each other making rude remarks and sticking toys in each others' faces. And who was driving their truck like an idiot and almost ended up going down the hill into the pond? Finally speaking of driving, he needed to be paying attention to the road rather than rambling about church and coffee. Black ice is a real thing especially when it is 11 outside.

I have been suspicious of this as well. I have a couple of friends with chronic health issues and none of them present like this. I'm sure my friends would love it if their health issue just magically absented itself during vacations or other fun things, but that's not the way it works. One friend after finally getting a diagnosis was thrilled that he and his wife could plan a three day trip and were able to pull it off without incident. Of course they had to make sure to plan in rest periods for him so that he wouldn't aggravate his condition. They certainly weren't running around like loons and staying up half the night.
