  1. Count me in on the "I hate mytharcs". I'm tired of seeing the characters spend the entire season fighting one big bad only to have a worse one show up the next season. After a while, it gets ridiculous. I also hate it when they put in filler episodes during the mytharc. Take Supernatural, or Buffy, the gang is in the middle of a fight to save all humanity, then they take a week or three to chase some random demon or vampire. Uh guys, isn't stopping Lucifer, the First Evil, etc., a weensy bit more important than ganking a run of the mill monster?
  2. So what's to stop the colonists from shutting the robots down again, permanently? It's what I'd do in the circumstances. I really didn't care for the Doctor's attitude that they should just overlook their loved ones being murdered.
  3. Thank you! There's nothing funny or cute about Alzheimer's. Another Call The Midwife UO: Using all those resources and funds for a birthing clinic that only holds four patients at a time is ridiculous in a city the size of London. The auditor was completely correct when he said that it could be absorbed into a hospital "in a blink".
  4. I thought Sister Ursula on Call The Midwife was absolutely correct when she told the nurses that they weren't social workers or babysitters, and that they should focus on their jobs, and that they shouldn't encourage the patients to be dependent on them. I also agree with her about Sister Monica Joan. The woman is senile and belongs in a care home before she wanders off again and dies of exposure or burns the building down because she decided to make tea at 3:00 a.m.
  5. I'd like Bill a lot better if I could understand what she was saying.
  6. Rob Benedict and Richard Speicht are on Criminal Minds: Beyod Borders tonight.
  7. I agree. He's just not funny, and he's gotten so stupid it's ridiculous. They should have killed him off instead of Lewis. I'd also like to see them start thinking about the future. They've had long enough to start farming and actively hunting for other survivors.
  8. Maybe Pat isn't dead, and she and Pat are now sailing off to Hawaii.
  9. I liked Tandy's light show. I don't know why they all were so unimpressed.
  10. I liked the plot of Beauty and the Beast a lot better before I learned about Stockholm Syndrome.
  11. Yes, I got the impression that TPTB really thought Cole would go down a lot better than he did. Apparently, the actor tweeted that he'd be back in S11, but that never happened. Which is probably good because I really don't know what he would have brought to the Amara storyline.
  12. The whole Cole thing baffles me. He's introduced in the season premiere, gets tons of screen time (when we're all eager to see Demon Dean!), his background, friends and family all explored, the actor does a lot of interviews and publicity photos with Jared, then . . . nothing. He disappears, never to be seen or mentioned again. Were TPTB planning for him to head a spinoff? If so, then why did they have him torture Sam? That alone made him unsympathetic. It didn't help that the actor seemed to think that he was the star.
  13. Great episode! I've been enjoying this season bigly. Loved the Nagan reference and the demon who just wanted to make hell great again.
  14. Unfortunately, the ghosts of Jimi Hendrix, Eric Clapton and Jimmy Page show up and give you an ass-whooping. I'd go the US Treasury building and print off $100 bills with my face on them.
  15. Carol says those words, everyone thinks she's snapped, and locks her in the conference room next to Melissa. I'd go to the Smithsonian and try on all the first ladies dresses.
  16. I loved the parade of presidents. I hope the dog was alright.
  17. It's been like that since S4. Personally, I'm glad that Sam is finally being treated like a main character. I also had no problem with Sam and Mary allowing the BMOL to take the traitorous hunter to meet his fate. The man was directly responsible for several deaths that day and who knows how many innocent people died because he was working with the alpha vamp. Dean murdered a terrified, unarmed teenaged boy whose only crime was to have been born into the wrong family, and that was supported by the narrative and the fandom. So I don't get the outrage over a man who betrayed fellow hunters to a monster.
  18. I loved the scene where Mary asked Sam about finishing his education. For 12 years we've been told over and over again that Sam is THE WORST PERSON IN THE WORLD!!! for going off to college. It's refreshing to see someone being proud of him for winning a scholarship and think that it was perfectly natural for him to accept it.
  19. I love Jeff. The actor does a great job of portraying him even under all the prosthetics.
  20. In Baltimore they call it the Festivus Maximus.
  21. So which one was willing to die?
  22. It looked like Tandy, and it would be the type of thing that would be his only achievement.
  23. I loved that Tandy's contribution to the Wall of Triumph was a picture of him eating a giant burrito.
