  1. I'm not going to link any more articles, but I'm surprised at how much coverage that Chalamet lookalike story is getting; clearly, people were craving some lighter news in contrast to everything else happening in the world.
  2. I figured as much, since this was the 'halloween' episode. Doesn't seem like I missed anything.
  3. I mean, yea. People stop being fans of someone for thousands of reasons, the fact that they hold some very hurtful and dangerous beliefs is one of the easiest reasons for that to understand imo. Also, it's not like he was a personal friend of mine, so....
  4. (Linking several articles because each has different snippets of info and photos) Thought this was kinda funny: 'Timothée Chalamet Surprises Fans At Timothée Chalamet Lookalike Contest In NYC' 'Timothée Chalamet crashes his own look-alike contest after police shut down crowded event' -- (They didn't have the proper permit, and had to move to another location.) https://people.com/timothee-chalamet-crashes-lookalike-contest-nyc-police-disperse-crowd-8735037 https://variety.com/2024/film/news/timothee-chalamet-lookalike-contest-surprise-appearance-new-york-1236191974/ https://www.thewrap.com/timothee-chalamet-crashes-lookalike-contest-new-york-video/ https://www.vogue.com/article/timothee-chalamet-lookalike-contest
  5. Seems like this was supposed to be their 'halloween' episode, but scheduling changed.
  6. I also used to count myself as a big fan of Levi; the turn he has taken recently (but it's been gradually leading to this) has been disappointing. :( I guess I'm one who can separate art and the artist (depending...), so I'd still recommend Chuck; but that was before all his messiness.
  7. Colter and rival rewardist Billie Matalon team up to find a missing high school baseball star. Airdate: October 27, 2024
  8. Okay, because I was coming here to ask if MPG spoke Dutch! I was going to be really annoyed at Lacey's amnesia, so I'm glad she she actually does remember Gabi's confession by the end. Speaking of Lacey; I'm here for her and Zeke being a thing. Yeah, totally rolled my eyes at this. I mean, she confessed; shouldn't there at least be some type of investigation into that? Also at Sir *somehow* having the funds for passports, rentals, and plane tickets; and his disappearing powers (but that one's kinda a TV thing). LOL'd at 'Girl, you ain't a cop!' -- applies to everyone on the team, though. They do so much "cop stuff" but aren't cops. As to the case, it had a couple good twists; didn't guess the wife was the kidnapper. Glad there was a happy ending. I'm actually enjoying the fallout from last season; to me, it's better than mostly glossing over everything after a couple episodes like most shows would do.
  9. ''Jeopardy', 'Wheel of Fortune' under fire: Game shows hit with race discrimination claims' excerpt: Standard response from Sony in the article, as well.
  10. 2x06 synopsis: I feel it's worded a little weirdly? Also the typo: it should be Jamie not Jaime.
  11. Okay, I can give credit where credit is due: I thought this was one of the show's better episodes. It would be great if most were like this. The research assistants and experiments were minimal (I thought showing the experiment as a flashback instead of Alec dropping everything in the middle of a case worked well); the behavioral concepts were much better integrated in the dialog; Rose was here! And she and Alec got to work together on a case; and while it didn't last long, it was an interesting wrinkle that they had to somewhat work against each other. I liked that Rose and Alec had a bit of relationship progression. And it warmed my Galavant-loving heart to hear Karen David sing! It was also great that Kylie had her own subplot relevant to her character growth. On the down side, I did guess the killer was early on; procedurals gonna procedure....
  12. Wow -- that was a lot of silly, but the characters were taking it so seriously (but also blowing off the serious stuff). And then another unnecessary murder. This one goes straight to the 'Never re-watch' pile.
  13. I can't find the video online; but CBS has started playing promos for the show.
  14. Well, I thought that was a good start to the season -- except for them attempting an unnecessary love triangle, as already noted. The other storylines they set up for the season seem like they could be interesting. This new gun trafficking villain might be how they connect Dante back to New York. Obviously kids/preteens shouldn't be driving cars, but I did kind of cheer when the boy rescued Robyn. If (when) Mel re-joins the team, it better not be because of guilt over Robyn. The only fashion highlight for me was Robyn's palm tree(?) 'camo' tracksuit. Her ponytail was awesome, too; but her ponytails are always awesome!
  15. Some quotes from Morris Chestnut about the show and his role here: 'Morris Chestnut on Playing Titular Role in ‘Watson’: ‘It’s a Culmination of My Career’'
  16. When Colter suddenly disappears during his search for a missing father, Reenie recruits his brother, Russell (Jensen Ackles), for help. Airdate: October 20, 2024
  17. Ugh -- It'd be great if they'd stop reacting to the reactions. I find it annoying; especially when it's almost every joke. A couple of times would be fine. "Colin wrote that joke" -- LOL - nice save, bro! This helped; but so far, the new castmembers are still pretty much invisible to me. Somebody on the show really hates that song! Not that I know of; but I'm not about to look up anything about a pretty 'meh' song, though.
  18. Sorry, have to nitpick: how exactly does one set a phone booth on fire? Was that thing made of oily rags?? LOL But anyway, really glad Lacey is back. I assume her experience going to cause more trauma, but I hope not; because Young!Lacey flashbacks are sad enough. I get that Sir is obsessed with Gabi, so he's going to keep trying to get her; and while he isn't supposed to be completely rational, he is supposed to be smart, so one would think he backs off for a while since he a publicly known wanted criminal -- but the show is probably going to keep doing the cat-and-mouse thing, which I think is going to get tiring after a while. But maybe the show will surprise me. It might be interesting if Sir develops a new obsession. As for Gabi's tension with the team and Trent: eh-- I mean, she's probably never going to do time for kidnapping Sir, so I think she (we) can handle some snappiness and icy comments. I don't think anything has been mentioned about him so far.
  19. McCall races to rescue two siblings who run into trouble after stealing a grocery truck carrying firearms. Meanwhile, Harry and Delilah help Mel through her trauma in the aftermath of her kidnapping. Airdate: October 20, 2024
  20. I think they may have mentioned Reenie and Colter's backstory last season; and there might have been a line in Bobby's episode, but seeing as how I can't recall any details about either, maybe not. They definitely haven't given us anything about Teddie and Velma's connection to Colter.
  21. Fast-forwarded Phoebe's scenes; ...and now there's a third assistant I don't care about. So I thought this one was a little less clunky with integrating the behavioral concepts (seems to be a mandate to include them, unfortunately). Because of the apparent TV procedural requirement to introduce the killer before the reveal, I knew it was the technician guy from the start; even if we didn't know why yet. Is cilantro on fried rice even a thing? So are they setting up Alec getting his scars (magically!) removed? LOL - I knew Jesse was going to get tired of that eventually! But that bombing arc was done, so it's fine, I guess.
  22. Could have sworn the premiere was next week! Anyway.... COTW was okay - even with the flaws everyone has already pointed out - but I'm annoyed that the writers still seem to think they need a corpse every week. RIP, that uncle. The side characters interacting is always welcome. So is the other half of the wife duo just going to be in offscreensville for the whole season? I don't mind them introducing a season-long arc (the missing sister), but 1) it seems kinda depressing, and I want the show to be more fun; and 2) we still have Colter's family drama/mystery unresolved. So is this new woman Colter's sleeping with considered his love interest? I dunno, the relationship seems a bit unhealthy from the jump. (But maybe that's the story they want to tell?)
