I can see Mary’s B&B failing even with produced found guests. No one in real life would ever want to stay there if made to cook, clean or do manual labour. I hope those people didn't pay. Kate was the voice of reason. Abe, pushed them a bit too far?!? Ya think? I sort of felt bad for Moses until I thought, yeah produced made up plot. These people are dumb as dumb can be. Besides that… why am I so stupid to be watching this crap??

The only way I can see the writers digging themselves out of this hole is if they did "it was all a dream" ala Pamela Ewing. The whole story would have worked if the Wilsons finally realized that Lori is totally out of their lives (Elizabeth comes in and says she's been put away for 20 years), they rejoice and knock knock, Carter opens the door. Ben: I'm looking for David Wilson. Carter: Dad it's for you. David: Yes can I help you? Ben: Did you have an affair with Lori Stevens, 16 years ago? I am your son. Beat. End credits. THAT may be soapy but easier to swallow.

The stupidity of Lori trying to get out of jail and get custody of Carter. No court would actually see this in the light of day. UGH! Carter really should have announced her full name as Carter Lyndon Wilson, just to piss Lori off. Nothing fazes that bitch. The ending with the introduction to Ben Wallace. Again. If children are so precious to Lori then why didn't she have Ben with her all these years? So.Done.Show. You have jumped the shark

Small Talk: Only 2 Ounces Of Commenting Allowed

Caught the last half of Dominique last night. Really sad because every time the doctor was thinking of new ways to help her, her reply was "thank you Jesus, or thank you God." not realizing that she needed to help herself. Her enablers were no use either. The money and resources that the doctor pulled for this woman was amazing. Who paid for all this? Just sad she didn't make it. Did anyone catch the other program after Dominique's story? About the 1100 pound woman in Texas who was admitting to sitting on her nephew by accident and crushing him to death? Later it turns out it was her sister that killed the child and this woman was covering up for her. Well, guess who shows up to give this woman a second chance?!? Dr. Now! I didn't stay up to see how it all ended. If anyone did, please post what happened in the second half. Did they preform the surgery and did she actually lose weight? -
Word. Last night's episode was very hard to watch even though I have read the book. I thought it might have gone too far with Randall's sexual obsession of Jamie. The best part was Claire telling Randall when he dies. I so wish she would have added: "I curse that pathetic thing between your legs that you won't be able to use it on anyone anymore. Man or woman." In that day of age, I wouldn't be surprised if Randall would have believed her curse so he won't be able to do what he is planning with Jamie. At least she could have kicked him in the nads. Maybe if Jamie is smart he will laugh his ass off at Randall's willy. I'm thinking I may need to just record it next week and fast forward if they do decide to show anything further.

Some type of fancy water. Of course, Sherlock and Joan wouldn't have a Brita or just use the tap.

Fuller House Continuation/Spinoff/? Anticipation Discussion
greekmom replied to FormerMod-a1's topic in Fuller House [V]
I would have rather had D.J. as a divorced mom with the dad occasionally dropping in. Would give some more laughs and storylines especially if the dad left her for a younger girl or is a dead beat dad. -
Best quote in the episode: "fucking bbq". Hands down. Add me to the hate list (and right at the top) for Laoghaire. Especially at the point when Claire was being whipped at she comments how she (Laoghaire) will dance on her ashes. Ugh. Which I really don't understand is how (not sure if i needed the spoiler tags but I added them. I also like the fact that Gellis came out and said to Claire 1968 instead of the way it was written in the books.

Meanwhile on wiki.... Which the last part does not make sense.

There are a few things that bothered me with last night's episode. 1. Daniela loses her job and Cristela has to get a job and forfeit her money for the bar. 2. Why couldn't Daniela get the job sweeping at the beauty shop? 3. Ama's lowering Cristela back down to menial labour when Cristela has higher aspirations. I was hoping that Culpepper would find out and actually pay Cristela's bar exam fee (because he knows she has potential) or that he would offer Daniela a job at the law firm (wasn't the position of Administrative Assistant open or something in the mail room in a previous episode?) Anyways, I don't like the fact that they fired Daniela from her job.

S08.E20: The Fortification Implementation
greekmom replied to shapeshifter's topic in The Big Bang Theory [V]
They are married. How is it Howard's home and Bernadette is always just a guest? Was the apartment that Bernadette had just HER place and Howard was just living there? It is their home jointly since Howard inherited it and he and Bernadette are married. In a previous episode it was shown that Lenoard was ok with Penny making more money than him since he grew up in a home where the woman (his mom) dominated her husband (his dad). I think he was shocked that she just didn't make more money but alot more. I loved the fort with Sheldon and Amy and Amy hiding a stash of clothes and toothbrush in case she was asked to sleep over. Loved Wil's cameo. Thought the whole Kevin Smith movie thing was meh. Agreed that Penny can still do acting part time. But she was in LA how long and no jobs had panned out but she is succeeding at sales. I can see why Lenoard would be upset. -
What no one has mentioned is the phone call at the beginning of the episode. Who was Lori talking to? My guess is David but then again, it doesn't make sense that he was the one that tackled her down and turned her in. Unless it's all part of a master plan? Was David a University professor or associate? That would explain alot as to how Lori was in their lives.

Dr. Younan Nowzaradan: Saviour or Surgeon?
greekmom replied to Meredith Quill's topic in My 600-lb Life
Would TLC producers please tell Dr. Now to stop colouring his hair. The reddish brown shade didn't do anything for him. -
David Rose: Has Had Enough Of This Schitt

Agreed. Loving David character. -
Did I miss something? How much was the check for? $50?

I actually really enjoyed this episode. The mayor who usually gets on my nerves with his sloppy/slovy ways actually was funny. Best parts were: - David and Stevie's discussion about wines (especially the "I thought we both liked red wine") - Parents, mayor and the mayor's wife getting high - Moira giving the kid's advice about how they don't have money for a baby out of wedlock and Moira telling Stevie to keep a watch on her cycle. - Rose and the mayor discussing their dissapointment in their son's. One thing i am not liking is Mutt and Mutt and Twyla. Shave that darn beard.

Didn’t see the divorce episode but I did catch the tell all episode. (Divorce episode is waiting on my PVR). My thoughts… something like this went down. TLC: I think we are wrapping up this season guys. Thanks for the good run. See ya! Don't let the door hit you on the way out. Brown adults thinking: Oh no the homes! Meri thinking: Oh no! My wet bar. Meri goes and gets divorce cementing another season of this train wreck. TLC: Guess you guys got another season. Meri saves her precious wet bar. Kody gets Sobyn legally. Sobyn gets Kody legally. Christine got mom living with her. Janelle gets screwed. But at least she has a job and can probably support herself and her McMasion if she really wants to leave these idiots. Problem is that Janelle has drunk the koolaid and will not leave even if they ask her to.

I've looked for a photo of the dress and cannot find it on line. Can someone post a link? As for the girl and her family being actually Greek, I’m really questioning that one. I'm thinking that they are actually Roman gypsies whose grandparents or great grandparents emigrated to Greece, and her parents moved to America. I’ve met a lot of gypsies in Greece and none of them say they are Greek.

This show was one rollercoaster ride. I loved it. Better than AOS anyday. I was shouting "shoot him! shoot him!!" at Sousa. Damn you Sousa. You should have shot the crazy doctor. Dottie is gone. Pretty sad that Peggy didn't get to take her in as well. I didn't get how this ties into Winter Soldier. I am thinking Angie becomes Mrs. Stark and Tony's mother? Please!! I want season 2!

Yes!! She is dead! Felt sort of bad for Crane. Now he has no one. Loved Abby in the past and how she was able to beat up the guard. Cannot wait till next season.

People like Pauline (and Penny) are real abusers. If Dillion wasn't verbally abused he would have had the upper hand and force her to lose weight. Pauline would tell Dillion to get her food and coke. Dillion should come back with something within her eating plan and a diet soda. If she doesn't like it. She can certainly get up and go get her own food. If she is upset about it. She can wipe her own ass and take her own shower. The victim here is her son. I feel sorry for him. I cannot believe he doesn't have other family to go to so he can just leave. I think he has been so verbally abused that he is just stuck there in a dead end situation. I predict in 10 years’ time we will see him seeking help from Dr. Now.

What a snoozefest of an episode. Just shows you that the three wives and Koduche were alot better off before Sobyn joined the clan. I was so bored while watching I decided to surf over to My Sisterwive's Closet for sh*ts and giggles. Website is offline. Hmmm wondering if the business is folding? Now Sobyn has tons of time making more babies. Looks like they will be addressing the divorce thing next week.

The Great Wife Swap of 2014: The Dark Wife Rises
greekmom replied to DakotaJustice's topic in Sister Wives
I'm wondering how the kids feel about all this. I'm thinking Mariah won't be too pleased. Didn't she have some sort of lording pleasure over the other kids because her mom was the first and legal wife? I'm thinking Janelle's and Christine's kids won't give a crap unless they were the ones that were open to a plyg marriage. -
Is this the season or series final? I've heard both from a few sources.
